“Andi-Lynn and Brandon were super nice! They were so welcoming with my Bruno, even though he’s the size of a small Pony! They sent pictures and updates and made me feel very comfortable leaving my Boy there!”

“Better than expected! It was our first time using this service and I can’t say enough good things about Gretel. She was flexible with our schedule and was amazing to our pup. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first stay with Loghan. He is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable about dogs. He communicated very well and quickly, and provided photo updates of their activities. We will definitely be returning for his excellent service and care of our fur baby.”

“Gabrielle was responsive and caring from the start. Understood we hadn’t left our puppy behind before and were anxious. She made us feel comfortable and shared daily photos and updates. We are grateful for her opening her home and heart to our Benny . Thanks so much!”

About: We’ve spent most of our lives around dogs and cats, and caring for animals has always been a big part of our home. We’ve raised one of our dogs since he was just 6 weeks old, and he’s now over 13 years old. We’ve also cared for a blind, diabetic dog for many years, giving us hands-on experience with senior and special-needs care, including daily insulin injections, eye drops, medication routines, and the extra patience and attention older pets often need. Between us, we have experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities, including Huskies and Great Pyrenees. We also shared our home for two years with a Treeing Walker Coonhound and a Beagle alongside our own dogs and cats, giving us experience with energetic hounds and managing a busy multi-pet household. We’ve raised our two cats since they were kittens, and we both have years of experience living with and caring for cats. We’re comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, energy levels, temperaments, and care needs. We tend to connect naturally with animals and pay close attention to their behaviour, routines, and comfort. We understand that every pet is different, and we’re happy to adapt our care to what helps them feel safe, relaxed, and at home. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because we’re both home-based. One of us is a stay-at-home parent, homeschooler, and homemaker, while the other has worked from home for the past 10 years. That means our household already has a consistent presence throughout the day. With two dogs and two cats of our own, including a senior dog with special medical needs, feeding, medications, bathroom breaks, playtime, attention, and general pet care are already built into our everyday schedule. Because we’re home so much of the day, we can provide regular attention and supervision rather than trying to squeeze pet care in around long periods away from the house. We’ll still only accept bookings when we know we can comfortably meet each pet’s individual routine and needs. Our home sits on five mostly forested acres at the end of a quiet street, with a very large front and backyard and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Our property is not fenced, so visiting dogs are always managed according to their individual needs, using leashes or supervised long lines/tethers when appropriate. Inside, we have a lot of flexibility to make visiting pets comfortable. Our large walkout basement is a quiet, low-traffic area with direct outdoor access and can be separated from the main floor with a baby gate. This gives us the option to keep a visiting dog with us downstairs while our children or resident pets remain upstairs if extra separation is needed. We also have a rarely used guest room that can provide a quiet, private space for a visiting pet. Our cats are used to dogs and are very good at finding their own quiet spaces when they want them. They can retreat to areas such as our bedroom, which visiting pets are not allowed to access. Our resident dogs can also be separated when necessary, including the use of a secure crate for our blind senior dog, who typically spends most of his day quietly sleeping nearby anyway. We spend a lot of nice-weather weekends outside on our property, so dogs who enjoy being outdoors can join us while remaining safely supervised. We know that every pet has a different personality, comfort level, and routine. Before accepting a stay, we want to understand those needs so we can decide how best to arrange our home and make the experience safe, calm, and comfortable for everyone.

“Allyson and her family were absolutely fabulous with Chica\! From the very beginning, Allyson’s communication was stellar—she was incredibly responsive, kind, and so accommodating, especially when I had to make last\-minute changes to drop\-off and pick\-up times\. They sent me lots of pictures throughout Chica’s stay, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for\. It was such a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I’ve already booked Chica’s next stay with Allyson and her family\! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, trustworthy, and caring home for their pet\. 🐾❤️”

“Kasi was amazing! My family and I took a 10 day trip down to Florida. Kasi made sure that both myself and my pup felt comfortable before we went away. We did a meet and greet with my boy and her golden, and then we did a full day of doggy daycare. Kasi gave me daily updates and pictures. It was so great to see my boy having such a good time with her golden. I’m so happy we went with Kasi! I will definitely contact her again in the future!”

“Ellie instantly bonded to Rojina ( Seyyedehhosna) which put us at ease. Her daily updates including pictures showed us how happy she was and the excellent care she was receiving. Rojina's love for all animals is very evident and we would definitely recommend her to other pet owners.”

About: I’ve been caring and keeping dogs company since I was 17. Family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk and provide loving companionship for their pups. I’m a totally dog person-can’t imagine the world without them! I’m currently work from home, giving me plenty of flexible time to care for your pets. I’m fully available on both weekdays and weekends from 8am to 9pm. I live in a house with a patio and unfenced yard, offering plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. We’re just a 10-minutes walk from Peterborough off-leash dog park, perfect for adding some extra fun and adventure to your puppy’s day!
About: From a very young age, I have always had a love of animals whether they had four legs or scales. Growing up I rode horses, had 2 dogs, and at points also had guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish, and bunnies. However, my best buddy growing up was my Australian Shepherd, Shiloh. Shiloh was ultimately the reason growing up I found a passion for the outdoors and hiking. Spending as much time as possible either on walks around the neighbourhood, hiking through local trails, camping, cottaging, swimming, or at the dog park with my best buddy. As a dog walker/sitter, I understand that our animals are not just animals, but are also our family. They are our honorary family members that need to be loved, protected, and cherished along with giving them the best quality of life possible. Exercise and being outside and around nature is so critical to a dog having its best quality of life. With a flexible schedule, I can cater to your dogs needs and give them the exercise and outside time they need whether that's on a nature hike, or just a walk through your local neighbourhood. Having a car also allows me to get to your pooch wherever they may be in a timely manner, and take them to local parks if requested. I am ultimately a happy and warm individual who keeps their energy calm and who is happy to play with your pup, give them a good walk, or even practice reinforcing basic training that you've been working on with your pup. Whether that be reinforcing basic commands on walks or giving behavioral guidance. For those with rambunctious dogs, I am happy to run around and play with your dog or take them on long walks, along with feeling comfortable and calm with your pooch and being stern when necessary. As your dog's parent, my ultimate goal is to give you the comfort of knowing your dog is being well taken care of, while also giving your pooch a well-rounded and positive experience. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I look forward to working with you, and your furry family member. Currently, my schedule is completely open to care for your pet on the terms that you need so that I can work around YOUR schedule. I can completely situate my schedule to your pets needs, and make sure that they get all the attention and care that is required. At my home, I currently have a 4 year old lab who loves people and other dogs. She is good with cats, and will be happy to play with your dog. For overnight visits or day visits, I am happy to visit your home where I will be respectful and will keep my phone on me if I ever need to be contacted. My apartment is currently situated in West-End Toronto, close to the waterfront, local trails, and a short distance to the beautiful high park. Animals that stay overnight here will be cared for and given the utmost respect as if they were my own animal. I will do all that I can to make sure your animal feels comfortable, loved, and having a good time so they are less likely to be sad when away from their owners/parents. I am happy to do things on your terms with any special requests or schedules being respected and followed. My parent's house is also a short distance away where they have a fenced-in backyard if your dog is interested in playing with their husky.
“Aleksandra took great care of Fiona during her weekend stay. She was responsive and flexible with pickup and drop-off times, and I could tell Fiona had been well looked after. Her calm and steady energy created a peaceful environment, which Fiona definitely appreciated. Thank you again for hosting her!”

“Meaghen and her girls were great with Dyson! He was comfortable and so happy there. We are lucky we found her last minute and she took him in without hesitation. We will definitely ask Meaghen to watch Dyson again during our next stay in Cobourg!”

“Rhonda was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of my older, reactive dog and handled everything with skill and kindness. Her experience with dogs really shows — Lollie was comfortable, happy, and even a little sad to see her go! Rhonda stayed at my home and left it spotless — so clean and tidy you wouldn’t have even known anyone had stayed. I have complete peace of mind leaving Lollie in her care and will definitely be inviting her back next time!”
