About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.
“Christine is a very warm, very friendly caring person and it was obvious from the moment she met our two dogs they would be in wonderful hands with her! One of our dogs is very shy, yet she took to Christine very quickly. Their home is perfect in terms of the layout and with a fenced back yard. Christine sent us photos over the 3 day period and is very responsive in her replies. One of our dogs is challenged to navigate stairs however Christine had a gate to prevent her from going up the stairs and potentially hurting herself. We would definitely book Christine again to care for our two dogs!!”

About: From a very young age, I have always had a love of animals whether they had four legs or scales. Growing up I rode horses, had 2 dogs, and at points also had guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish, and bunnies. However, my best buddy growing up was my Australian Shepherd, Shiloh. Shiloh was ultimately the reason growing up I found a passion for the outdoors and hiking. All week Olivia kept us very updated on how our cat was doing and sent multiple AMAZING photos and videos of her . “Danika was absolutely amazing with my two beans, even though they are still fairly new rescues and a bit shy! She coaxed both out of their shells, kept me updated, and followed the instructions we discussed/I left perfectly. More importantly to me, Danika is an incredibly kind and compassionate person to the human of the house, too. I struggle with some things and contacted her ahead of time to ask if she was okay with the situation my place was in, and she was nothing but understanding and reassuring. Being a recovering hoarder (never of animals!) is a hard climb with a tremendous amount of shame involved, especially when people have to enter my home and I can hear their reactions. Danika lifted that shame from my shoulders in her honest and compassionate statements that it was absolutely okay, and my cats deserve all the love no matter what the state of my kitchen or living room is. I absolutely hope to be a repeat client, although I am not away very often; this has opened up quite a bit of freedom for me, though, knowing my two heartbeats will be kept safe and happy if I need to go somewhere for several days. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have experience with puppies and seniors, as well experience taking care of very sick doggos. I love the outdoors, and take my 3 dogs on trail walks all the time! I have a bachelors degree in Biology, partial respiratory therapy training, CPR certification, and dog/cat First Aid & CPR. I am currently taking courses to become a certified dog trainer :) I currently work very part-time hours (mostly just every other weekend), and I am a morning person! I am available most weekdays to walk or sit your dog! I live in a rural area with a nice big yard (not fenced in). I have 3 friendly dogs, and 2 cats! About: Hi! We are Star Sitters here on Rover, with 6 years of professional pet care and 18 with our own animals. Someone is always here in our calm, safe, and dog friendly home so your dog can spend the day with company instead of being home alone. We do live with our loveable Boston Terrier, Gus, and we are often found hiking on dog friendly trails on the weekend or spending time at the lake. We are very active, enjoy being outside and think dogs should be too - Gus has a lot of energy so daily excercise is key already here. I work as a professional planner and Scott works from home and we are both free on weekends with flexible schedules. We spend a lot of love and time on Gus, who, like us, loves being around other dogs. We would be happy to meet you and your doggy in advance so you can get to know us. Emily works in the office four days per week just a few minutes from home, Scott works from home. Neither of us work on the weekend. Our home is save for any animal - we're smoke free, drug free with no children. Gus loves other dogs and always enjoys having a friend around. Our back yard is mostly fenced in and it's tucked behind. The front is also mostly fenced with a small garden fence.

Being around dogs makes my heart happy, with me your dogs will treated like royalty and be showered with love. -small dog only environment - I only book a maximum of 4 small dogs , plus my own dog,,so your dog will only be around 4 small dogs which makes care and attention in good quality. -this is a childfree environment so there is less risk at our house of injury or your dog being triggered by something a kid could do and less stressful. I provide a clean and quiet environment. My work is flexible, I can work from home. I can take time off from work if I have booking or fully booked, so that the dogs are not left alone for long hours. pls check the gallery of photos with captions. For boarding: check in or drop off is 3pm , check out or pick up is 11am , these are flexible depends on what we agree. Some of my clients live too far away for a meet and greet, so in those cases I’m happy to waive it. I’ve had many wonderful experiences welcoming dogs without a prior meet and greet, and it’s always been a great stay for both the pups and me! I have a fenced yard , and just outside my fenced yard is a huge baseball field for my Katie and yours to run around with me. -It is a must that all their shots and ticks& flea meds are up to date .

I have been on rover for a couple of years now and I have had all different kind of experiences through the app. I have had many different dog walking clients from puppies to senior dogs. I have done house sittings anywhere from 1 night to 5 week long stays, I’ve even just dropped in for a few hours to keep your animals company and take them on walks. I have looked after all kinds of dogs and cats and even chickens. I am so passionate about animals and making sure your animals are comfortable and happy during your time away! I just recently got 2 puppies so I have been training them and looking after them so I have recent experience with puppies as well. I currently am working part time but I am able to adjust my schedule to accommodate for your needs. If your animals can only be left alone for a certain amount of time I am more than happy to work around those hours. I typically don’t do house sitting in my own house. I feel it’s best for the animals to stay at their house so it’s an easier transition into having me look after them. The animal is typically a lot more comfortable having someone new around if it’s in their own home from my experience.

I have had pets with severe anxiety and having a piece of home, be it a blanket or toys that smell like home helps a ton. As far as safety, I have a fenced yard in my apartment and will never let a pet off-leash especially if your pet does not have any recall. I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.

About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.
“Christine is a very warm, very friendly caring person and it was obvious from the moment she met our two dogs they would be in wonderful hands with her! One of our dogs is very shy, yet she took to Christine very quickly. Their home is perfect in terms of the layout and with a fenced back yard. Christine sent us photos over the 3 day period and is very responsive in her replies. One of our dogs is challenged to navigate stairs however Christine had a gate to prevent her from going up the stairs and potentially hurting herself. We would definitely book Christine again to care for our two dogs!!”

About: From a very young age, I have always had a love of animals whether they had four legs or scales. Growing up I rode horses, had 2 dogs, and at points also had guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish, and bunnies. However, my best buddy growing up was my Australian Shepherd, Shiloh. Shiloh was ultimately the reason growing up I found a passion for the outdoors and hiking. Spending as much time as possible either on walks around the neighbourhood, hiking through local trails, camping, cottaging, swimming, or at the dog park with my best buddy. As a dog walker/sitter, I understand that our animals are not just animals, but are also our family. They are our honorary family members that need to be loved, protected, and cherished along with giving them the best quality of life possible. Exercise and being outside and around nature is so critical to a dog having its best quality of life. With a flexible schedule, I can cater to your dogs needs and give them the exercise and outside time they need whether that's on a nature hike, or just a walk through your local neighbourhood. Having a car also allows me to get to your pooch wherever they may be in a timely manner, and take them to local parks if requested. For overnight visits or day visits, I am happy to visit your home where I will be respectful and will keep my phone on me if I ever need to be contacted. My apartment is currently situated in West-End Toronto, close to the waterfront, local trails, and a short distance to the beautiful high park. Animals that stay overnight here will be cared for and given the utmost respect as if they were my own animal. I will do all that I can to make sure your animal feels comfortable, loved, and having a good time so they are less likely to be sad when away from their owners/parents. I am happy to do things on your terms with any special requests or schedules being respected and followed. My parent's house is also a short distance away where they have a fenced-in backyard if your dog is interested in playing with their husky.

About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life having grew up around multiple dog breeds both male and female! My partner and I are the biggest dog lovers, with our own little girl and committed to providing the best care possible. I currently work from home 1-2 days a week and am available weekends and evenings to care for your pups! Work from home days are flexible depending on your needs I have a large fenced garden for roaming and fun and 1 super friendly golden girl (see profile pic) who wants to make friends with all.
