Hi! My name is Ashleigh, I’m a second-year politics student at Queen’s University. I’m responsible, easy to reach, and I take looking after other people’s pets seriously. I’ve grown up around both big and small dogs, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds and temperaments. I’ve also had my own cat for almost two years, and I’ve lived with and helped take care of a kitten as well, so I’m used to the different needs cats have. I’m confident with feeding, walking, medication, and just making sure pets are comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable. For drop-ins or overnight stays, I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get enough exercise, and get attention and playtime. For walks, I adjust to the dog’s energy level and make sure they’re safe and getting a good outing. If I’m staying overnight, I keep things calm and consistent so they’re not stressed while you’re away. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions, and I can send updates if you’d like, so you know everything’s going well.
