About: I have taken care of dogs since my family adopted our first miniature schnauzer when I was seven. Since then I have adopted two adult cats and have tried to spend as much of my free time as possible around animals of all kinds. I work full time, but am available for mornings, evenings, weekends and overnights. I work remotely two days for week and have some flexibility in my hours at my day job. My cats have been on special diets or medications at times and I am comfortable accommodating this. I can work with cats of any temperament, my own youngest was semi-feral when she joined my family. I am comfortable providing enrichment, crating and walking dogs of any size! I definitely have a soft spot for terriers!

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable. For drop-ins or overnight stays, I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get enough exercise, and get attention and playtime. For walks, I adjust to the dog’s energy level and make sure they’re safe and getting a good outing. If I’m staying overnight, I keep things calm and consistent so they’re not stressed while you’re away. Treena did a great job of caring for my two cats while I was away. She was very easy to communicate and organize a meet & greet with and was great with my animals. She was punctual and sent meaningful updates that made me feel reassured that I wasn't just being sent stock responses. She also sent pictures with each check-in which I always appreciate. She followed the instructions well and I had no issues at all over the weekend, would definitely book again!
Anna and Aleksei were amazing! They took great care of Joe, sent thoughtful updates and photos after every visit, and were incredibly attentive. During one visit they noticed something wasn't right, found that Joe had accidentally gotten himself stuck in the bathroom, stayed longer to make sure he was okay, and even offered to come back later that day at no extra charge to make sure he was okay.
