Lifelong Caregiver and Pet Lover!
Hello and thanks for visiting! I love spending time with animals. I grew up in a house with cats and dogs and have been a cat and dog parent all of my adult life. Recently I made a commitment to rescue a dog recognizing I had the time to devote to her training and rehabilitation and the experience has been truly transformational. Working with trainers has given me a lot of tips, tools, strategies and confidence to understand dog behaviour and be better responsive to their needs. I have also volunteered to rescue abandoned cats. I am physically active and enjoy walking and/or running with dogs as part of my daily routine. I am also happy to chill with pets in their home environment and play games to give them cognitive stimulation and/or cuddles depending on the goals you identify for our visit. I am committed to keeping your pet safe and happy and to keep you updated as well as I know how important communication is to giving peace of mind.

I like to meet with pets prior to the first visit to allow them to become familiar with me and begin building trust and rapport. At this time it’s helpful for me to know any communication or behavioural concerns and or triggers, medical or functional concerns, energy level, food/diet restrictions, favorite things and routines.

Lori has taken excellent care of our senior cat Pinkie over multiple different occasions when we have been out of town! She adapted to Pinkie’s many different quirks and sent us regular (adorable) updates with photos. She is always making sure to give Pinkie lots of love and attention during her visits. I know my sweet little lady is in good hands with Lori.
Lori is so thorough and thoughtful, you feel like she cares for your pets like they were her own! Would recommend to anyone.
