About: I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have two dogs of my own, so caring for animals is truly second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve helped look after many dogs and cats, giving me hands-on experience with a variety of personalities, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is the genuine love and attention I give to every pet in my care. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident and at ease while they’re away, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable in their environment. Whether it’s maintaining routines, providing companionship, or giving extra care and reassurance, I make sure each pet feels secure and well cared for. I am open to caring for other animals as well! I have open availability to care for your pets! I have a part-time job that is flexible, so am able to provide services that fit your needs best. I’m happy to stay in your home & care for your animals where they are comfortable! I am respectful and trustworthy and can provide a clean CPIC.
About: My partner and I have had lots of past experience with taking care of dogs! We have both had labrador retrievers, shepherds, Alaskan Malamute, border collies etc. We currently have an eight month old labrador/husky that we rescued when she was 9 weeks old. She is currently training to be a service dog but still has some puppy brain and enjoys playing with other dogs!! We have trained her in many domains and she currently knows: sit, stay, down, back up, waiting at doors, paw, high five, spin, around, crate, support, hug, off, leave it, and are working on much more. We would be happy to help train your puppy/dog if you are currently working on anything! I am currently in school so I am available to watch your dogs during the weekday and most weekends. Our schedule during the week and weekends would be potty breaks every 0-2 hours. During the work week we are happy to walk your dogs anytime during the day :) We have a partially fenced yard and our dog goes on a long tie to ensure she stays safe! She is crate and house trained and usually stays in her crate throughout our work days to ensure she is safe as she still likes to chew on wires! Our puppy and your dogs safety is our number 1 priority :)
About: My name is Georgia and I am currently in flight school here at Kingston. I am from Toronto, Ontario and have grown up around pets (specifically dogs) my whole life. I love all animals and staying active and can schedule a regular dog walking or house/pet sitting :) Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I ensure pets are fed, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and exercise, and I keep their space clean. I’m reliable, attentive, and enjoy spending time with animals. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, provide companionship, keep them engaged with play and activities, and make sure they receive the care and attention they’re used to. I also communicate regularly with owners and provide updates for peace of mind.
About: I grew up with five dogs, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities, including anxious pups who need extra patience and love. I’ve run my own dog walking business and have worked at two dog kennels (one of which I’m currently at) and I truly treat every animal like they’re my own. 🐾 I currently work part-time on weekends, which gives me plenty of availability during the week to focus on pet care. My schedule is flexible, so I can adjust visits and walks to fit your pet’s needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions and give plenty of love and patience (especially to anxious or shy pets) while always respecting your home so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I'm patient, reliable, and detail-oriented. I'm comfortable following feeding schedules, giving oral medications with detailed instruction’s. cleaning up accidents, and providing plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. Safety is always my top priority. I work shift work, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability during weekdays, evenings, and even late-night drop-ins. My schedule changes often, so I'm able to accommodate times that don't always work for traditional 9-5 sitters. I'm a proud dog mom of 2 myself, so I understand how stressful it can be trusting someone else with your pet. Because of that, I treat every animal as if they're my own. I'm very attentive, patient, and safety-focused, and I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of exercise, affection, and lots of supervision. I also have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run around and burn off some energy if appropriate for their visit and a 2 year old lab who loves making new friends if yours needs some socialization with permission of course
About: Certainly! Here’s an extended version with a few more lines to make your answer more detailed and impressive: --- I have over 8 years of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet sitter, and I also care for two pets of my own — a playful dog and a senior cat — so I understand the daily needs, personalities, and quirks that make each pet unique. What sets me apart from other sitters is not just my experience, but my genuine love for animals and my ability to connect with them on a deeper level. I have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — from energetic puppies needing consistency and training, to older pets who require medication, mobility assistance, and extra TLC. I’m skilled in basic puppy training, crate training, leash manners, and socialization. I also have experience dealing with rescue animals and those with anxiety or behavioral issues, always using a gentle and reassuring approach. Pet safety is my top priority. I stay alert, follow detailed care instructions, and maintain regular communication with pet parents through updates and photos. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with love, patience, and respect. I work from Monday to Friday from 9 to 5.After that and before that I am available and I can sit with your pet at night Here’s a well-rounded answer to the **“Safety, trust & environment”** question, written from your perspective as an experienced cat sitter and pet sitter who may care for pets either in your own home or the client’s home: --- Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or my client’s, safety and trust are always my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions precisely — including feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, and any household rules their pet is used to. I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences and behaviors so I can provide a familiar, low-stress environment while their family is away. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space that is free from hazards. I ensure secure windows and doors, use pet-safe cleaning products, and have separate, quiet areas available if a pet needs space or time to adjust. My own pets are well-socialized, and I carefully supervise all interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos to build trust with pet parents, showing them that their pet is in good hands. Whether in my home or theirs, I aim to create a calm, caring, and secure environment where pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free.
About: I have owned two dogs in my life (one being a 90 pound Chesapeake Bay Retriever and the other being a 50 pound french bulldog). I have been relied on by family and friends since a young age to walk, bathe, feed, and be of good company to their pups. I am currently working part-time hours so rest assured your pup with get everything they need while they are in my care. Whether that means taking your dog on a nice walk during the day/evening and/or giving the best company possible to make sure that your fur babies feel at home for the duration of their stay. I have a 4 year old dog of my own who loves other dogs. I live beside a nice park and in a quiet area that is perfect for walks.
“Jess offered us tremendous peace of mind during eight days away from home. She immediately bonded with our cats and we could tell from their expectations of us when we got home that she gave them oodles of play and attention. Jess was extremely communicative and helped us keep in touch with our three kitties on a daily basis.”

About: I'm an experienced and hard-working sitter in the Kingston area, offering peace of mind that your home and little ones are well taken care of in your absence. I have lived with animals my entire life. Naturally, I understand you're seeking the best possible care for your little ones, and that's exactly what I strive to provide. I've been a Pawshake sitter since February 2019 and have been loving every moment of making so many new four-legged friends! About my services: HOME VISITS consist of one afternoon or evening visit that lasts up to 45 minutes, depending on your pet's needs. During this visit, I would feed your pet(s), refresh their water dish, play & socialize with them, clean their litter box, and so on. I'm also happy to water your plants, bring your mail inside and take out garbage/recycling when needed. HOME BOARDING at my spacious, ground-level apartment means that your cat or dog would stay with me and my pets for overnights over an extended period of time. You can rest assured that your feline friends will get tons of pats and cuddles, and that dogs will be walked twice a day with plenty of opportunities to run around the yard in between. All you need to bring is their food, treats, and leash! I also offer HOUSE SITTING. The house sitting option means Birdie, Bowie and I would stay at your residence round the clock, provided I don’t have any bookings for home boarding at the requested time. This service would be ideal for households with both cats and dogs, or for animals who have a harder time adjusting to new environments. My apartment is puppy-proofed, equipped with puppy pads if needed, two litter boxes (scooped daily), and lots of toys, beds, and treats for cats and dogs alike. It's clean and spacious, with big windows for bird-watching. I have a very large, fenced-in yard for tons of extra play time, rain or shine. I have installed pet gates with built-in cat doors throughout the apartment, so cats and small dogs can have their privacy away from the larger guests when I am unable to supervise. About my pets: I have two pets of my own: An easygoing, playful, and extremely dog-savvy black cat named Gigi Luigi (4 years, male, neutered) who loves making new kitty friends, and a flat coat retriever/labradoodle named Bowie (3 years, female, spayed). Both would relish the extra company and have been socialized to respect animals of all shapes and sizes. Both are also up to date on their vaccines. I think that covers it! Thanks for giving my page a gander. I hope to meet you and your little ones soon! ☺️ I do work full-time as a community mental health nurse, but working in the community means I can drop by my home for short visits as many times per day as needed, and spend my lunch break at home every day as well. I take Bowie for 1-2 off leash adventures every day, whether or not I am working. I have a large, fenced yard and a friendly pup of my own to keep yours occupied, and would be taking them on and off leash adventure at least once a day, regardless of whether I work. I also have the flexibility to pop into my home throughout the day on days I do work, so the pups get frequent potty breaks and are never left alone for long stretches.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Loyalist
I couldn’t be happier with the care provided for my cat, Bella. She did an amazing job feeding her, refreshing her water, and making sure she felt comfortable while I was away. She truly went above and beyond for my fur child, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing Bella was in such great hands. Highly recommended!

Kayleigh is an absolute dream! You can absolutely rest assured with her taking care of your pets. Not only is she incredibly trustworthy, her experience and knowledge of animals is an absolute asset, and your fur babies will undoubtedly be well taken care of. Thank you so much, Kayleigh!
We are very happy with Kayleigh! We have a very complex feeding system for our animals because of dietary issues and she was able to follow the routine with no issues. When we came back home, the animals were all calm and happy. We will definitely use her again in the future, as it was the best pet sitting experience we have had in over 20 years!
