About: My partner and I have had lots of past experience with taking care of dogs! We have both had labrador retrievers, shepherds, Alaskan Malamute, border collies etc. We currently have an eight month old labrador/husky that we rescued when she was 9 weeks old. She is currently training to be a service dog but still has some puppy brain and enjoys playing with other dogs!! We have trained her in many domains and she currently knows: sit, stay, down, back up, waiting at doors, paw, high five, spin, around, crate, support, hug, off, leave it, and are working on much more. We would be happy to help train your puppy/dog if you are currently working on anything! I am currently in school so I am available to watch your dogs during the weekday and most weekends. Our schedule during the week and weekends would be potty breaks every 0-2 hours. During the work week we are happy to walk your dogs anytime during the day :) We have a partially fenced yard and our dog goes on a long tie to ensure she stays safe! She is crate and house trained and usually stays in her crate throughout our work days to ensure she is safe as she still likes to chew on wires! Our puppy and your dogs safety is our number 1 priority :)

About: I will take care of your pet as if it's mine, and I'm doing it just because i love then but can't have mine at this time. I have had my own cats and dog and I know them well. Thank you for trusting me, i will do my best to make you and your pet happy. I am a graduate student and my schedule is completely flexible during the summer. I just need to know 1 day in advance so i can plan my day. I am living in a relatively big apartment with an unfenced yard. Pets allowed everywhere and on bed. About: I have lots of experience babysitting my auntie’s 3 dogs (Corgi, Newfoundland doodle mix, Golden Retriever) and my uncle’s Husky mix. I’ve always been very passionate about dogs and really wanted one, but have been unable to because of my mom’s allergy. I’m a responsible student at Queen’s university who will make sure to treat your dog with lots of love. As a university student, I have classes during the day but am usually available from the afternoon onwards on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. My weekends are also usually free, so I will have lots of time to ensure the pups have a good experience. I live in an apartment on the fourth floor (we have an elevator), which is a little difficult for keeping large dogs in for extended periods of time, but I will make sure that your pup spends lots of time exercising outside.

As a foster parent with the Kingston Humane Society, I have helped care for and place many cats into their forever homes. I have experience working with cats with specific medical and behavioural needs, including overweight cats, senior cats, and cats recovering from dental procedures and surgeries. I have also worked with local humane societies to help raise funds for spay and neuter programs and have worked to support adoption efforts within the community! I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible and make sure they have a calm, clean, and low-stress environment. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a young child. Growing up in an environment full of animals has taught me great responsibility and the importance of following owner instructions and ensuring animal safety. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and three cats until their old age. Then I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog, three more cats, and a German Shepherd. Cash, our German Shepherd, is 11 years old and thriving, and he lives a privileged life with his sister, a calico cat named Krissy, who is 16. As someone who leaves detailed instructions on how to care for Cash and Krissy, I understand and respect the rules that owners have for their fur babies, as they are not suggestions but rules to keep their pets safe. And I intend to do just that, while making sure they are happy. I am a student in Kingston near Portsmouth Village and available most mornings, evenings, and on weekends when I do not have classes (excluding Thursdays). In Client Home: I follow the pet's existing schedule, including walks and feeding. I make sure that all hazards are removed and appropriate doors are locked/closed to ensure the pet is safe. I also make sure that the environment is clean, including litter boxes and waste bags, for the pet's safety and to respect the owner's home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. Family and friends have always trusted me to care for their pets responsibly while also providing a fun and loving environment. I’m currently working full time and would love to get out and take care of animals. Every day looks different so I am available mornings and evenings. I have a family border collie. I am able to take animals for long walks, let them out and give them food and water and provide any care they may need.

About: I was raised around animals my whole life & love being outside. My childhood dog recently passed & I miss going for walks as frequently. I cared for my king Charles cavalier until she passed just under a year ago. More recently, I babysat my sister's great Dane and a family friend's shitzu. I love all dogs and I'm fit so I can handle larger dogs well; I can also take dogs for runs if preferred.

Boarding: I do not own any other pets, and I do not currently allow sitting pets from multiple homes at once. For boarding - your dog will for the most part have free roam of my apartment, and good potty training is expected. I would not recommend very plant-curious dogs to board at my home. Coming to your home: I always maintain a base line of respect and privacy when coming to your home. My focus is your pet and their well-being and nothing else. I ensure to abide by your norms such as removing shoes, and keeping away from private areas of your home unless required. I can check on other things in your home to ensure there's no upturned trash, water leaks, or other issues while you're away. If there are any messes in your home, I am more than happy to take care of them with your direction and using your cleaning products.

About: Having grown up with no pets, I always jumped at the chance to do drop ins for friends & family for their pets. Now I have my own little pup and we enjoy taking walks out around town or the occasional hike. I have completed the certification of First Aid for dogs & Cats from the Canadian Red Cross. I have experience with all ages and breeds and welcome everyone! I typically work from home and choose my own hours so I’m pretty flexible on days and times, whether it be mid week or weekends. I walk with my pup daily and have space to do drop ins/potty breaks or walking every day. I have a fenced yard at my home, and my entire home is dog friendly. If your pup needs a crate there is one available (my pup is crate trained) I’ll take your dog’s lead on what kind of day they want, whether it’s calm snuggle time or more focused on enrichment or play outdoors. All you need to bring is their food, treats, and leash! I also offer HOUSE SITTING. The house sitting option means Birdie, Bowie and I would stay at your residence round the clock, provided I don’t have any bookings for home boarding at the requested time. My apartment is puppy-proofed, equipped with puppy pads if needed, two litter boxes (scooped daily), and lots of toys, beds, and treats for cats and dogs alike. It's clean and spacious, with big windows for bird-watching. I have a very large, fenced-in yard for tons of extra play time, rain or shine. I have installed pet gates with built-in cat doors throughout the apartment, so cats and small dogs can have their privacy away from the larger guests when I am unable to supervise. About my pets: I have two pets of my own: An easygoing, playful, and extremely dog-savvy black cat named Gigi Luigi (4 years, male, neutered) who loves making new kitty friends, and a flat coat retriever/labradoodle named Bowie (3 years, female, spayed). I have a large, fenced yard and a friendly pup of my own to keep yours occupied, and would be taking them on and off leash adventure at least once a day, regardless of whether I work. I also have the flexibility to pop into my home throughout the day on days I do work, so the pups get frequent potty breaks and are never left alone for long stretches.
