I have experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding for families while they're at work or away. My flexible schedule allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I can easily accommodate your pet's regular routine to help them feel comfortable and at home. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and a spacious, pet-friendly home where dogs can relax and feel secure. I always follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and routines, and I provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hi! My name is Ashleigh, I’m a second-year politics student at Queen’s University. I’m responsible, easy to reach, and I take looking after other people’s pets seriously. I’ve grown up around both big and small dogs, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds and temperaments. I’ve also had my own cat for almost two years, and I’ve lived with and helped take care of a kitten as well, so I’m used to the different needs cats have. I’m confident with feeding, walking, medication, and just making sure pets are comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently living in Kingston full-time over the summer, and only occasionally go away to visit family, so I'm typically available whenever you need! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable. For drop-ins or overnight stays, I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get enough exercise, and get attention and playtime. For walks, I adjust to the dog’s energy level and make sure they’re safe and getting a good outing. If I’m staying overnight, I keep things calm and consistent so they’re not stressed while you’re away. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions, and I can send updates if you’d like, so you know everything’s going well.

About: I was raised around animals my whole life & love being outside. My childhood dog recently passed & I miss going for walks as frequently. I'm 25 and have dogsat for family and friend's a handful of times which has given me experience with small and large dogs. I'm a morning person so my timing is flexible! Im a shift worker so my schedule varries, but please feel free to message me with any scheduling inquiries. Before 10:30AM is usually a guarantee. I cared for my king Charles cavalier until she passed just under a year ago. More recently, I babysat my sister's great Dane and a family friend's shitzu. I love all dogs and I'm fit so I can handle larger dogs well; I can also take dogs for runs if preferred.

About: Van and I have had lots of past experience with taking care of dogs! We have both had labrador retrievers, shepherds, Alaskan Malamute, border collies etc. We currently have a 11 month old labrador/husky that we rescued when she was 9 weeks old. She enjoys playing with other dogs and we have trained her in many domains. she currently knows: sit, stay, down, back up, waiting at doors, paw, high five, spin, around, crate, support, hug, off, leave it, and are working on much more. We would be happy to help train your puppy/dog if you are currently working on anything! Van works full time, however I work part-time and thus some days potty breaks will be 0-2 hours, however other days it may be every 4 hours. On the weekends, we would be able to take them out 0-2 hours :) We have a partially fenced yard and our dog goes on a long tie to ensure she stays safe! She is crate and house trained and usually stays in her crate throughout our work days to ensure she is safe as she still likes to chew on wires! Our puppy and your dogs safety is our number 1 priority :)

About: For over 3 decades, I have been providing high quality care to extended fur family, as well as to those of our friends and neighbors who have been generous enough to lend me some of their pets' time. From big dogs to small dogs, young dogs to old dogs, our single-family detached home and fully fenced yard is sure to provide a warm and comfortable environment for your well-natured, and good-with-kids pup. I work from home 3 weekdays days out of 5, and can come home for lunch on those 2 days where I have to be in the office to let your pup out and provide food and water. Long walks, lots of fetch, and plenty of pictures are in store if you choose to trust our family with your fur babies. We have one family dog already, a 5-year old pug named George, who has shown himself to be very good with other dogs, both big and small. We take long walks around the neighborhood, stopping to say high to other dogs and their owners. We also occasionnaly go to the dog park Kingston East, or sometimes further afield for beach days or hikes on local trails or conservation areas. Our pug naturally sleeps on the bed with us (we couldn't stop him if we tried), so we'db be delighted to extend your dog the same courtesy. They'd become a part of the family.

As a foster parent with the Kingston Humane Society, I have helped care for and place many cats into their forever homes. I have experience working with cats with specific medical and behavioural needs, including overweight cats, senior cats, and cats recovering from dental procedures and surgeries. I always try to make pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. With cats especially, I usually let them come to me first instead of forcing interaction since every cat is different. If they want attention and cuddles, I’m happy to give them lots of love, but if they’d rather have their own space, that’s totally okay too. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible and make sure they have a calm, clean, and low-stress environment. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a lot of shy, senior, and special-needs cats, so I’ve learned how important patience and trust are when caring for animals.

I closely monitor dogs at all times and stay aware of their body language and surroundings to prevent any unsafe situations. I have experience handling different dog personalities and situations calmly and responsibly. I never leave dogs unattended in risky environments and always prioritize their safety and well-being. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, I introduce them carefully and keep them separated from my own dog at first until I’m confident they are comfortable and safe together. If not they are always going to be separated my dog will be crated.

About: I have taken care of dogs since my family adopted our first miniature schnauzer when I was seven. Since then I have adopted two adult cats and have tried to spend as much of my free time as possible around animals of all kinds. I work full time, but am available for mornings, evenings, weekends and overnights. I work remotely two days for week and have some flexibility in my hours at my day job. My cats have been on special diets or medications at times and I am comfortable accommodating this. I can work with cats of any temperament, my own youngest was semi-feral when she joined my family. I am comfortable providing enrichment, crating and walking dogs of any size! I definitely have a soft spot for terriers!

About: Hi! I’m a third year Queen’s University student who seriously misses having dogs around while I’m at school! Back home, I have six dogs of my own (yes, six lol! chaos, love, and fur everywhere), and I’ve fostered over 100 dogs throughout my lifetime with many different dog rescues. Basically, my life resume is just… dogs. I love pups of all ages, from high-energy puppies to sweet senior dogs who just want a slower stroll and some extra love. A few of my dogs have been through puppy school, where we both learned tricks, so I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, routines, and good walking manners. I truly believe dogs are better than humans (no offence), and I treat every dog like they’re my own. About: I’ve always been surrounded by all kinds of animals, including Katy, my childhood family dog that was an English setter-black lab mix, all kinds of cats and farm animals 🐈‍⬛ 🖤🐕 In 2019, I decided I wanted to contribute to the community more as my love for animals kept growing. I began volunteering as a foster for rescue puppies with CC Rez Q’s in Regina, SK. As a rescue foster, my role included training, feeding, bathing, walking, and giving my full attention and love to each pup that was in my care! I have my own 3 year old pup, Murphie who is a golden retriever X wheaten terrier mix that’s great with other dogs and is always by my side!🖤 I am a full time nurse, therefore I will only approve days that I’m not working to make sure your pet gets all the attention it needs! I have my own dog, Murphie, that I take for walks frequently and to the beach for swims. This is already apart of my daily/weekly routine therefore I can incorporate any requests for your dog into my routine😊 I live with my fiancé in an apartment, so we go for lots of walks throughout the day.
