I do work full-time as a community mental health nurse, but working in the community means I can drop by my home for short visits as many times per day as needed, and spend my lunch break at home every day as well. I take Bowie for 1-2 off leash adventures every day, whether or not I am working.

I have a large, fenced yard and a friendly pup of my own to keep yours occupied, and would be taking them on and off leash adventure at least once a day, regardless of whether I work. I also have the flexibility to pop into my home throughout the day on days I do work, so the pups get frequent potty breaks and are never left alone for long stretches.

Please let me know if there are any concerns regarding your dog's recall, as I like to take both Bowie and guests on lots of unfenced, off leash trails. If there is any concern whatsoever in terms of recall, we will stick solely to fenced parks.
A typical day
There are tons of dog parks, either fenced or unfenced, and trails near my home that Bowie and I frequent regularly. Your pups are more than welcome to join us if this is something they enjoy! If they prefer quiet time, this can also be accommodated with lots of backyard hangouts, marrow bones, dog toys, and mental stimulation games.

I'm an experienced and hard-working sitter in the Kingston area, offering peace of mind that your home and little ones are well taken care of in your absence. I have lived with animals my entire life. Naturally, I understand you're seeking the best possible care for your little ones, and that's exactly what I strive to provide. I've been a Pawshake sitter since February 2019 and have been loving every moment of making so many new four-legged friends! About my services: HOME VISITS consist of one afternoon or evening visit that lasts up to 45 minutes, depending on your pet's needs. During this visit, I would feed your pet(s), refresh their water dish, play & socialize with them, clean their litter box, and so on. I'm also happy to water your plants, bring your mail inside and take out garbage/recycling when needed. HOME BOARDING at my spacious, ground-level apartment means that your cat or dog would stay with me and my pets for overnights over an extended period of time. You can rest assured that your feline friends will get tons of pats and cuddles, and that dogs will be walked twice a day with plenty of opportunities to run around the yard in between. All you need to bring is their food, treats, and leash! I also offer HOUSE SITTING. The house sitting option means Birdie, Bowie and I would stay at your residence round the clock, provided I don’t have any bookings for home boarding at the requested time. This service would be ideal for households with both cats and dogs, or for animals who have a harder time adjusting to new environments. My apartment is puppy-proofed, equipped with puppy pads if needed, two litter boxes (scooped daily), and lots of toys, beds, and treats for cats and dogs alike. It's clean and spacious, with big windows for bird-watching. I have a very large, fenced-in yard for tons of extra play time, rain or shine. I have installed pet gates with built-in cat doors throughout the apartment, so cats and small dogs can have their privacy away from the larger guests when I am unable to supervise. About my pets: I have two pets of my own: An easygoing, playful, and extremely dog-savvy black cat named Gigi Luigi (4 years, male, neutered) who loves making new kitty friends, and a flat coat retriever/labradoodle named Bowie (3 years, female, spayed). Both would relish the extra company and have been socialized to respect animals of all shapes and sizes. Both are also up to date on their vaccines. I think that covers it! I worked with Lisa for a few years, she was a very positive and professional person to work with. Always on time to work, very friendly, customers really liked her. I see her frequently and it's obvious to me based on the dog she has that she takes great care of dogs and has a lot of love for them.
As Lisa's older sister, I can tell you that she has always the family "animal whisperer". She understands their needs and bonds with them very easily. Not surprisingly, she is now an experienced and trusted pet sitter, with many happy clients! Her affectionate dog and talkative cat, Birdie and Louie, are also great company for pets staying overnight. If I had animals of my own, I wouldn't hesitate to use Lisa's services -- because I've seen firsthand how much energy, attention and love she brings to each animal's care. (Bonus: her pet pictures are great!)
Lisa is the perfect pet sitter. She took excellent care of my cat James while I was away and was very conscientious throughout. Her communication skills were top notch (including photos and highlights of every visit). She kept me up to date and asked questions when necessary. James was a very happy, well cared for cat when I returned. I highly recommend Lisa as a pet sitter!
Lisa is the most patient and loving pet mama. I've let her pet-sit my sweet dog Donut who can be a bit of a handful at times, but she handled it with grace and patience. She's gentle and caring and attentive, and I'd recommend her to anyone to keep an eye on their fur babies. They can rest easy knowing their pet is getting the best care with Lisa!
