About: I grew up with a small family dog as a young child in our family home, and took the leap into adulthood and dog ownership on my own! Porter is a 5.5 year old male neutered bernedoodle. He's super spoiled and rules the house :-) He loves having a playmate around so we thought we'd check out the Rover scene! We have experience looking after our neighbours dogs (Golden retrievers and a yellow lab). I have used Rover as a pet parent for help during vacations, etc. I know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy that will follow instructions. We go on 4 walks a day - sometimes more with yard play thrown in. I work from home and have a flexible schedule to allow all the dog care! I'm familiar with medicating dogs, including allergy injections so I can assist with care like that if required. I'm guilty of taking so many pictures of my dog, especially when he has friends visit so please be comforted knowing you will get lots of updates! We live on a lake so if your dog loves to swim and loves pontoon boat rides, they will have one heck of a vacation :-) If you have multi dog family - I'm happy to host them all! Please - no cats. I currently work from home and have lots of time with my flexible schedule to accommodate walks, playtime, enrichment, etc. Porter can adjust to anyone else's schedule to make it easier, or we can do solo walks if that would be your preference. I do not have a fenced yard, but we go on leashed walked at least 4x a day - plus more playtime. Porter is allowed on furniture, so your dog is as well! There are no separate rooms for dogs in my house. He used to be crate trained and so i am familiar with it and can crate your dog if you require it.

About: Our family included a sweet cat who lived to the age of 19. We also have a dog who is 5 years old and we understand the joys of puppy training. We enjoyed Puppy school and agility training and understand what is required to keep dogs happy and well exercised. I recently retired and I am looking for ways to stay active and dog walking is an activity that I enjoy. We currently have our own dog and he loves companions when appropriate. If your pet is not social- no problem! I have a fully fenced yard and a 5 year old mini golden doodle who loves furry friends. I enjoy long walks and am well prepared with treats and water. Rain or snow don't deter me from a walk- its always enjoyable with the right outerwear! I have attended puppy school with my dog and understand the concepts of dog behavior and how to keep dogs in control, engaged and happy.

About: I am a Dog Lover. I available in the winter November 1 to March 31. I have always had a dog. Now I work long hours in the summer so in the winter I can get my dog fix by caring for yours while you head south for your holiday. I only take in 1 pet and 3 walks a day in rural Rea on island. My winter project while you head south I provide loving stable home. I only have one boarder at a time so they get 100% of my attention. We walk alot everyday In rural area. On leash or off leash depending on your dog's training. Routine is Important and so is fresh air!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 15 years old! Love taking them on walks and playing in the park! I have taken care of neighbors,friends and even family pips while they were away! Providing caring love so your pup feels at home I will have plenty of time to care for your kitty we do have three children so we have their schedules but other then that your cats will enjoy their stay I have a quiet cat friendly home! About: I’ve had pets (dogs of all sizes and cats) my whole life and currently have two corgis. If there’s a dog or cat in a room, that’s where you’ll find me. I follow your instructions to a T because I believe the way you need pet care doesn’t stop when you leave for a trip. Also available for emergency drop ins and help, because you never know when life get crazy. Having pets myself, pet care it’s my routine! I focus my day around making sure pet’s needs are met, as well as try to go above and beyond to make them as happy as they make us. I follow your instructions to a T - if you need/want your pets cared for in a certain way, I’ll make sure that it’s done just as you need!

About: I have been loving and taking care of pets for years. I worked at animal shelter for 2 years and that gave me lots of experience with all kinds of animals young ones, old ones, moody ones, happy ones, and more! I have lots of experience with challenging dogs and ones with health issues too. I am currently home for the summer and looking to fill my time loving on some animals 🐾 I do not have any restrictions on time or days. I have a fenced yard and dogs to keep your fur friend company. I have the space to crate your pup if needed, and wood floor for easy clean ups.
