Personalized Loving Doggy Care
I have thirty-plus years experience as a pet owner. I have always cared for my dogs with the greatest compassion, having raised Great Danes, a Chihuahua, various Hounds and many more. I have raised most of my dogs from puppies and have taken great care and compassion in their final days. I am very gentle and compassionate with our furry friends, having great love for them. And every time I meet a new fur-angel, they immediately sense that I am a friend. I want to open my home to people who need an alternative to helping their beloved dog feel loved and stimulated throughout the day, as opposed to sitting at home alone. I love dogs, I love being around dogs all day. I have a passion for looking after these gentle, wonderful creatures, and it's my intention to devote a large portion of my life to helping them. My services are open 24/7. I am open to emergency calls/boardings. My policy here is personalized, devoted care to your pet. I take one family at a time (up to 3 dogs/family). I devote all my time to looking after your beloved furry friend(s) making sure they get the comforts of home while you are away.

Charles and his dog Fiona took great care of our dog, Gus! He had a wonderful stay, enjoyed daily walks, and had lots of fun playing in their fenced yard. Charles was excellent with communication from the booking process through the entire stay, sending several updates and photos each day, which we really appreciated. It was very clear to us that Gus was very well cared for. We would definitely book with Charles again!

Schedule
My schedule here at 'Fiona and Friends' is 7 days a week, 24/7. I am fully dedicated to the care of your pet. Any breaks in this schedule will be posted far in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced, secure, back yard. I have a large crate available, if required for your pet, as well as an enclosed sitting room if your beloved pet needs space. As well, Fiona, our gentle and friendly Whippet Hound, will help keep your fur baby entertained all day long. Fiona loves company! We have doggy floor beds, and two couches to stretch out on (or cuddle up). I provide 2 walks per day (45mins./per). And of course, I take the utmost care when walking around the south end of Gananoque.
Pets
A typical day
I love to stimulate our fur friends with early morning and late afternoon/evening walks. There is plenty of toy-retrieval fun, and romps in the backyard. Lots of positive affirmations and soft training, such as, "minding manners", leash walks and training. There will be massages, hugs, and all-around good vibes. With your permission, we can visit the local dog park located 5 minutes away. Car rides are part of the boarding experience, as well as visits to various parks and places for dog walk adventures. Lots of interaction with Fiona, and lots of constructive play throughout the day.
