About: Growing up, we always had animals in our home. I have experience caring for and handling animals of various types. I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for 4 years now, and I am currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program, aiming to be licenced within the next 3 years. I currently work full-time from Monday to Friday, so would only be available during the weekend to start. If I am doing a drop-by visit to your home while you are away, I may have the possibility to drop by in the morning before work, or in the evening afterwards, depending on my schedule. As I currently live in a small apartment, it would be easier for me (and better for your pets) if I perform primarily drop-in visits for care, or take pets out for walks. I could pet-sit a smaller animal in my home, or an animal who is larger but used to apartment living, so long as you are comfortable with them interacting with my children.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life, but finally got to experience having a pet in the family when we adopted Jasmine 8 years ago! Jasmine joined our family as a puppy, and through this experience I’ve become an expert at dog loving and dog training. I love to play with dogs and other pets, give nice long walks, and give treats when it is okay to do so. In terms of experience, I have experience walking, checking-in, and sitting for both dogs and cats over these last 8 years as well. I’m currently working as an elementary teacher, so my availability is limited to weeknights and weekends. Although, when the summer begins (July 1st) I will be available at anytime to provide pet care. For check-ins, walks and sits/visits, I am ready and equipped to provide the proper care for your pet having that experience of this for my own pet. As long as I am provided with some background info, I’ll be ready and prepared to take care of any of your pets needs.

About: I have had various pets throughout my entire life, including my beloved yorkie for 15 years, who I trained as a puppy and cared for when she was a senior dog. I have taken care of cats and dogs of various breeds for family and friends. I work from home part-time, so I am available most days throughout the daytime and evenings to care for your pet(s). My schedule is very open so I have lots of flexibility throughout the day for pick up/drop off times, caring for your pet in your home, dog walking, etc. I live in an apartment and have no pets of my own, so I offer boarding for smaller breed dogs who would have space to run around and play.

About: My childhood home has always been full of animals (fish, tortoises, dog - rough collie) that live in harmony. My favorite part of the day has always been hanging out with them and making sure they feel their best at all times. I would love to be able to spread this love that I have for animals further on ! I feel comfortable with any new furry friends that I make and I always make sure that they do too. I pay attention to their patterns of behavior, needs and preferences, so that I may adjust and provide best possible care for them. I am excited to get to know my new furry friends ! I am currently a student, which means that I have a lot of flexibility and time to spend with animals. I can take care of them especially during unconventional hours as I can adjust to any time of the day. I am an avid walker and I am familiar with most (if not all) of the parks in the area - so I can adjust the walk to the dog’s needs, as I do with my own dog. Additionally, I am prepared to adjust to the pet’s home or prepare my own apartment appropriately, according to the pet’s situation.

About: I've had a cat for almost 10 years now and I'm currently the dog sitter on some weekdays for a friend. With my cat, I've given all the medicine and brushed all the hair you could need. With dogs - I've done the hiding medication in treats and given all the walkies you could want. I'm work full time (until 4pm) but fairly flexible in the evenings. My weekends tend to be lowkey so I'm available to spend time with your furry children when commitments get in the way! Always make sure their needs are met - making sure their schedule is adhered to (I would hate to wait around for my meals too so punctuality is important to me). For cats - understanding their boundaries and tells. Providing as little or as much pets they're comfortable with. For dogs - making sure they get outside as long as they need because this is THEIR time so if they want to sniff a million spots for 5 minutes then we're standing in a million spots for 5 minutes.

About: I will care for your pet as if it were mine. I am an all around animal lover. I don't own a dog but I do have a cat. Spending time with your pet will be important to me because it will mean that your mind is at ease. Your busy schedule won't allow you to be with your pet all the time and that is what I am here for! I can give your dog a good brush and belly rub and a good walk and/or play time at the dog park. I may not have full time dog experience but that will not prevent me from giving them the attention and care they deserve. I am happy to help when available. Don’t hesitate to reach out. I work away from home four days a week and am available on weekends. I will care for your pet as if it were my own. If they are high energy I will play with them. If they are low energy, I will give them cuddles. It all depends on the animal and what they need.

About: Hi, I’m Anika and I have so much love to give to your pets. I have cared for cats and dogs for most of my life. From when I was a child I have always had pets in the home. I had a St. Bernard for almost 11 years of my life, he was a gentle giant; he gave me so much experience with large dogs and also gave me a best friend. I have a lot of experience with cats, from having at least one cat in my house at all times when I was growing up, to taking care of friends cats for weeks at a time when they were unavailable. I have experience with senior cats up to age 19, cats that are skittish and shy, and cats that require more attention... even if that just means extra cuddles! I am currently a university student and I also work as a barista! I have some extra time during my days or overnight. I love animals and I think taking care of your pet while you are not able to will be beneficial to them, you, and me! I am a very clean and neat person, I will leave your home as clean or cleaner than when I came in. I want you to feel comfortable with me in your home and I will abide to any rules that are given to me. I have no issue cleaning up after your pet and cleaning litter boxes. In my home I have a backyard with shady spots that are ideal for senior or larger dogs who may not love the sun. I live on a quiet street, 5 minutes away from a large park that many dogs would love!

About: I have a 7 year old chocolate lab and a 5 year old tabby cat. I am a trusted sitter and I have 7 years experience dog, cat and house sitting for neighbours/family friends sometimes for a month at a time. I am a part time Pilates teacher and a freelance professional dancer currently, so I often have time during the day and off periods where I am able to stay somewhere for a longer period of time. I will maintain a clean and safe environment for your pet, and for dog care I prioritize getting to know the neighbourhood so I can take them on safe and enjoyable walks.

About: I have two cats now is 9,10yrs old in my hometown with my parents and I have a cat now is 4 yrs old. Now is summer time, I have plenty time ever day. I want to spend time with pets. It is what I expected every day. So don’t worry the time. I have three cats and my friend have two dogs So I have so many experiences take care with them. They all very healthy and happy. Don’t need to worry, enough food and joyful I have a cat with me. So it is the daily things in my life and I’m so happy that I have a sweet pet with me every day. I clean my place every day, I have a cat so I take more care about the environment to make sure there’s nothing will affect their health

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always loved all pets and animals. Growing up in Italy, my family always loved to have a non-human family member to take care of. My fondest childhood memories were playing with our labrador retriever, Lola, and later adopting another dog named Spenk (named after a popular anime cartoon charater in Italy at the time) in my adolescence. We also had pet chipmunks at one time! I continued living with and taking care of dogs while I lived with host families in Austrailia and New Zealand in my 20s. When I moved to Canada and later met my now-wife, she was a dogsitter through Rover. It was through her that I was able to discover this opportunity and help her with the various responsibilities that came with petsitting. I find taking care of pets in this way to be so rewarding - it boosted my mood, and helped get me moving! Unfortunately, my wife is no longer able to continue being a petsitter due to the committments of her current full-time job. However, since moving to the National Capital Region, we have regularly watched our friends' pets, both at our house and theirs. We both agree, that we really hope to have a pet of our own one day, but for now the best way to fill that void is for me to continue petsitting. I always find it so exciting to have a new "friend" be apart of my day that I can't help but give them my undivided attention. No matter this age, size, or energy level of your pet, I will always stive to give them the exact amount of play, walks, bathroom breaks, treats, and overall attention they may need. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Pet owners need to have a great deal of trust in their petsitters. Whenever I watch pets, I love to have constant communication with the owner - sending them regular updates and photos throughout the day. Even if their pet is having no problems and seemingly a very happy time, it's still important that the owners know that so they feel more at ease. We thankfully have a very large backyard which would make bathroom breaks very easy, however, at the moment our yard is not fenced, so I would only feel comfortable taking them on bathroom breaks both on-leash and supervised. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Additionally, we live in a bungalow with a door that closes, so we can block off stairs if that is also a concern for you.

About: I love walking and being physically active I also love animals so walking your dog would be a bonus for everyone so leash up and shake paw I've got a complet schedule dedicated to dog walking and being able to provide my services with a quick notice will be on our way. This section is not needed, and is for larger profiles that offer more then dog walking, But on not I do have a cat. Witch your dog won't be around regardless just to note.
