“We hired Mary to stay at our place for the day of our wedding. Mary came for a meet and greet at our place a few weeks before she would be staying and right away we felt comfortable with trusting her. Although our Dog Bear is always a bit weary towards new people, we felt confident he was in good hands. We also have a pet Rabbit and Mary helped out with him as well which was greatly appreciated. Mary sent photos and was very easy to communicate with anytime we needed. Turned out Mary had left with our doggie bags and messaged us the following day and brought them back to us. We would 100% recommend her😁”

About: I am a dog lover who also loves travel therefore don’t currently have one. Looking forward to meet yours! I am very active, affectionate and responsible. I have owned 2 dogs (Germand Sheperd and Golden Retriever/ Aussie Shep) , grew up looking after my family friend’s dogs and have lived with many other dogs. Happy to play, pet, feed, cuddle, walk, run and anything else that would make your furry friend happy! Funny fact; I sometimes go to the dog park just to hang out with dogs... I mostly have experience with medium/bigger sizes dogs but I have also lived with small dogs and cats. I am so excited to live in such a dog friendly place and can’t wait to meet more dogs :) I am currently working part-time therefore I will have plenty of time to spend with your dog and to go on adventure whether it be walking, running or the dog park We will follow the same routines as your dog is used to to keep them comfortable and happy. I do have a fenced backyard that we can use as well

“Cate was incredibly friendly and accommodating! You can tell she’s a big dog lover. She responded quickly and was super flexible as my schedule shifted during my visit to the national parks.”

“Macy was fantastic and really saved our getaway in Banff! The dog sitter the hotel had arranged fell through last minute so we reached out to Macy. She arrived super fast to look after our two pups at the hotel. Took them for walks, sent us cute pictures. Next time we come through Banff we won't hesitate to reach out to Macy.”

About: Hi, I’m Dusty. I work full-time as a restaurant supervisor and bartender, but during my time off, I offer part-time dog walking and pet care through Rover. Outside of Rover, I also care for friends’ dogs—everything from the biggest, fluffiest Newfoundland to the tiniest, sassiest corgi. As a former dog owner of 5 years myself, I know how much love, consistency, and attention pets need, and I’m here to provide that when you can’t be there. I’m comfortable with basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “leave it,” and I’ve picked up helpful training tips through time spent with a professional dog trainer. Whether your dog needs a long walk, some playtime, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m available for morning walks, midday check-ins, and evening visits on my days off—and I always provide updates with photos and notes after every visit. Looking forward to meeting your pup soon! I work full-time as a restaurant supervisor with a flexible schedule. I’m available for morning walks, midday check-ins, and evening care on my days off.. I follow each pet’s routine, provide walks, play, and attention, ensure their comfort and safety, and keep owners updated with photos and messages every visit.

“Tereza was wonderful! I had my wedding out in banff and needed a dog sitter just while we were out for dinner. Tereza agreed to do a meet and greet with us to make sure my doggy was comfortable with her. She sent me updates right away when I asked and took her for a great walk as well. Lacey loved hanging out with Tereza, would definitely ask her to doggy sit again if we ever needed her :)”

About: I’ve taken care of my friends dogs and cats ever since I was around 12. I love all animals and I think they’re a gift to this world! I’ve dogsat while traveling as well which has been very nice since I can’t quite get my own dog yet until I’m settled down. I’m working in Banff full time as a server so I’m able to provide care to your dog or cat either before or after my shifts :) I will treat your home and pets with respect. I love giving dogs loads of attention so they will never be bored but if they need their space I can also give them that!

“Sarah was so accommodating and made me feel so much better with leaving my little girl at the hotel while I went snowboarding. She even came in super late a couple nights before today because I wasn’t able to get back to the hotel when I was supposed to! I will be having her watch my dog/dogs again next time I visit! Thank you so much! ❤️”

About: Hi! My name is Alex, I’m 24 and I have looked after & lived with dogs since the age of 6. I have had two family dogs including a Border Collie and Italian Spinone, I am from the countryside in Wales and as a result have spent a lot of my life around animals, particularly farm dogs & many varieties of personal owned breeds. I have house sat a number of dogs in Wales previously, as well as caring for and more recently helping to train our most recent family dog Hatti the Italian Spinone (as seen in my profile picture). I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs, and since being in Canada I have been missing the company of a household pet, and so would like the opportunity to spend some time with some locals to help the blues! I work full-time 4 days a week in Banff (Fri-Mon) and I am available for full day-care/house sits Tues-Thur only, but am available for walks every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and every other day after 4:30pm. Inside my home I have a large dining room and spacious lounge area, with plenty of space for your pet to not feel cramped up inside. Outside I have a medium sized fenced yard, with space to play or relax as needed. I am happy to take your dog on walks during the day/evenings, please let me know if there are preferences (e.g. no off-leash dog parks, small walks only etc).

About: Hi folks! I’m very lucky to have a lot of experience taking care of pets—I've had my own cats and dogs, and I've also looked after some amazing and quirky farm animals! Over the years, I’ve done plenty of pet and house sitting for others (friends, family, and lots of pet-sitting website users), so I’m used to keeping pets happy and making sure everything runs smoothly while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and always make sure they’re well cared for and loved. I work part-time in town and am usually pretty available Monday-Friday. I’m flexible and can fit in some dog walks almost daily, but the times may vary depending on the time of year! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to stick to their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, whether it’s walks, playtime, or backyard runs. I also give them regular meals, fresh water, and lots of attention. For cats, I stick to their feeding schedule, keep their litter boxes clean, and offer playtime to keep them engaged. I treat each pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of affection and monitoring their well-being while their owners are away. For dog walks, I’m always on the lookout for potential hazards and making sure lots of energy is expelled! Maybe a trip to the dog park if appropriate, or a good long walk along the river or up Buffalo Mountain. Happiness, exercise, and good health are the goals, for both the dogs and me!

“We've hired Melissa for both dog walking and dog sitting. She's excellent! Very quick to respond to messages and accommodating with dates and times. Our dog is nervous around new people. Melissa was gentle and patient with her and she warmed up to her very quickly. Melissa even went and bought her a new little toy when dog sitting. She really is wonderful !”

Summer graduated from Animal Care college program and constantly researches ways to stimulate and teach animals. She is responsible, organized and reliable. Molly is just the best. The second time we’ve used her and for a long period of time. (15 days) She always respects our home and she just love Bullet, (even if he can be difficult at times not good with other dogs) if you’re looking for the perfect dog sitter. This is her.

Tereza was absolutely amazing! We were in town celebrating my birthday, and while my family had planned a dinner, we couldn’t leave our senior dog alone in the hotel. Our old pup is quite particular and, with his age, has developed separation anxiety. He only tolerates a few people, so we were a bit concerned. Tereza immediately put us at ease. She took him for many sniffing walks, and despite his dramatic protests, she was even able to put his little socks on his feet to protect his pressure sores. Only mom and grandma have been allowed to do that before! I was so grateful for the photos she sent throughout the evening, which really reassured us that he was in good hands. To my surprise, he was completely content and didn’t mind being left with her at all! Thanks to Tereza, we were able to enjoy our dinner, knowing our Buddy was well cared for. Highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care!

Clare stayed in our home and took excellent care of our kitty while we were away! She sent us updated pictures and our kitty looked very happy and very well taken care of! Knowing that Clare was there with him gave us such peace of mind and we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our fur baby! Thank you so much Clare!
