“We were very nervous to hire anyone to stop in on our 2 dogs as they have only been cared for by family in the past. Also one is very anxious when people come over and the other is a senior with arthritis. Chris came over for a meet and greet, and we were relieved that our anxious dog warmed up to her quickly. We had Chris stop in this week and everything went great. Our dogs lived having a chance to play a bit and get an extra piddy break. Thanks to Chris we feel a bit more comfortable about having an”

“Ivy was a knowledgeable and professional cat sitter. She updated us with pictures and reports daily and always replied promptly. I felt comfortable having her care for our cats while we were away! She did forget to bring in our mail but I'm pretty sure it was just and oversight. She did put our garbage out the night before trash day.”

About: I love dogs! I've been fostering dogs with The Bond Between, formerly Secondhand Hounds, for over 5 years. I used to have 2 of my own, a Miniature Poodle and a Shih Tzu, but they both died in June of 2019, one week apart. They were both 15 years old. Ever since then I've been fostering and it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done. Through fostering I've received obedience training and learned numerous tips and tricks for helping dogs to be successful and to find their forever home. I've learned about leash reactivity and how to avoid it, how to do loose leash walking to avoid pulling, and how important it is to keep them looking to me for direction. I've worked with shy, fearful dogs as well as easy going "I love everybody" dogs. Play time and cuddle time are my favorite things about being with dogs. My own personal preference is to let dogs on the couch with me and sleep in my bed at night. But I've done a bit of dog sitting for former foster dogs and fully respect the new owners’ expectations and boundaries. My goal is to do what makes you and your dog happy. I live alone in a townhouse so there are only my foster dogs and no children in the mix. I have a small front yard so all outside time will be on a leash and/or on a walk. I can't wait to meet your dog! NOTE: My 10% rating for sending photos is a bit misleading because I send them to personal cell phone numbers for convenience, therefore they don’t get tracked. But 100% of my clients receive photos and videos multiple times per day. I'm currently working a full time job from home, so I can attend to your dog's needs throughout the day and my break times are very flexible. I'm pretty much a home body, enjoying as much dog time as I can get! My house is set up for dogs more than people! I have area rugs down for senior dogs that have a hard time walking on a smooth surface. I have a small gated pen set up for separating dogs during feeding times and I gate off the stairs to go upstairs unless I'm up there with the dogs. I also have 2 crates with the doors open if a dog wants their own small safe space. I supervise all eating times and always put dogs on a leash when outside. I have multiple dog beds and comfy sleeping spots throughout my house.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was in college, from puppies to senior dogs. I give their owners peace of mind with regular check ins and updates with how their pet is, while making sure the dogs are happy with lots of walks and playtime. You can be sure that I will be more than just a sitter and show your pet all the love and care it deserves. During the summer, I only work part time, leaving lots of time to care for your pets. I’m very active, so if your pet is too, we will be a great match. As a teacher during the school year, I am usually available in the afternoons and overnight, as well as all weekends for the same level of care. I will work with you to provide the routines and care you would like while watching your pet. I make sure to clean any messes that may occur while watching your dog. I am used to both crating and leaving dogs to roam throughout the space, so what you want is what you will get.

“Gabrielle was amazing! She responded in a timely manner and put my cats first. She send me daily updated and pictures and my two cats loved her. She made sure to play with them and brush them as well. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Courtney is delightful !!! She accomplished all the tasks I requested for our 5 cats, and seemed genuinely fond of them. She sent us photos and videos, which made us feel confident that everything was going well... 3 of the 5 kitties we have are somewhat friendly, and greeted her. The other 2 hid under our bed, but she managed to find them there, which was reassuring to know they were okay. She was also very observant... she noticed something appeared 'not quite right' with our one senior guys, and brought it to my attention. But I was already aware of this issue, and it had already been addressed by our vet. We give her kudos for noticing. Many thanks & hugs go out to our new Cat-Nanny !!! ???”

About: I’ve been fostering dogs with my family since grade school, giving me experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I’ve also cared for my own cats, birds, and rabbits, and I truly enjoy pet sitting reptiles and all kinds of cuddly companions! I work in education during the school year, but my evenings and summers are more flexible, and I’d love to incorporate animal care into my routine! I have two senior pets with specialized diets and medications, so I’m unable to host animals in my home. However, I’m happy to provide care in clients’ homes and always ensure a clean, respectful service experience.

“Laura provided exceptional care for my cat, AnnaBelle, during my recent time away. Her communication was outstanding; she promptly responded to all my questions, which gave me great peace of mind. Beyond meeting AnnaBelle’s physical needs, Laura ensured her emotional well-being, engaging her in activities that kept her content and stimulated. I highly recommend Laura to any pet owner seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver.”

About: I am a pet lover and will make sure your pet is in good care. I have had dogs of my own my whole life, and have taken care of other’s as well with walking and overnight/check in sitting. I do have experience with taking care of cats, too! I’m currently looking for work, so I’m more than ready to spend all my time taking care of your pet! I am available any day of the week at any time. I will adjust and try my best to imitate your care-style so your you and your pets are comfortable. Otherwise, I am more than happy to do the basics, spend my time playing and taking care of the essentials (feeding, walking, bathroom breaks, etc) with your pup.

Victoria P.
“Victoria has been our go to person for years! We have 2 rescue dogs with anxiety and 2 older cats with varying needs, as well as reptiles and amphibians. It is very hard to find someone that I can trust with all the different needs of my animals, but I have never had to worry when Victoria has stayed at my house. She will always ask for our instructions so she knows she is handling everyone's needs properly. She has never had any issues working with my high anxiety dog who doesn't do human touch, but also needs daily medication. Caring for our high anxiety dog is not something we trust many people with, so knowing she is taken care of while we are gone brings us more peace of mind than I could ever put to words. Victoria will always make sure your animals are cared for and she genuinely loves to interact with them. If you give her directions she will follow them to a T.”

“Pets prefer their home over boarding at a kennel? Want your dog walker to treat your furry friend like royalty? Cat need some TLC while you're away? Fira's got you! She is a person you can trust, who has experience and a love of animals. Known her for years and cannot recommend her pet services enough!”

Erin is amazing with my kinda cranky elderbull! She’s calm and patient even if Boji doesn’t recognize her at first. I get photos and quick rundown of the walk which I love when I’m on the road for work. She’s always on time, is easy to work with, and shows up with a smile! I highly recommend Erin!!

Ivy took great care of our two girls! Everything was communicated extremely well and it is clear she truly cares about the animals. Her notes were detailed and I love all the fun pictures. Having Ivy take care of Bella and Gracie gave me peace of mind during our 2 week trip.

We loved having Hannah come for a few drop in visits with our pup!! She was BEYOND amazing! Very easy to work with, communicates very well, and was so accommodating. Above all she was so kind! I would rebook in a heartbeat knowing we can rest easy because Hannah will take care of our dog like we do. She is the best!
