About: I am a recent graduate from St. Olaf College, and plan to pursue a doctorate in veterinary medicine after a gap year or two. I've taken care of pets of all sorts for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10, and cared for my own animals for as long as I can remember. I have worked in a humane society and am comfortable working with all sorts of pets, of all shapes, sizes and ages. I have also worked in commercial kennel settings, with dogs with behavioral issues. I have experience cleaning up messes, providing enrichment, and administering medications, as well as caring for newborn and young puppies. I'm a full time college student who loves to spend my free time with all sorts of animals! I can visit during the day or stay overnights; feel free to reach out to hear more about my availability. I'm happy to keep your pets company in the comfort of their own homes, as well as taking them on any outings they usually enjoy!
“Haley did a great job of taking care of Percy! Percy was happy to her on visits. She was well rested and had good energy when we returned home. Loved getting pictures of visits.”

“Jennifer was very attentive to my sweet old lady, and she was nice and calm and happy when I got home! Unlike times when I’ve boarded her, and she has been clearly stressed and hasn’t eaten in days! Jennifer even pulled my rather large Amazon package into the house!! Thank you!!”

“Jona did a wonderful job of caring for my kitty when I was out of town. I was nervous to leave her because she needs insulin shots twice a day. Jona handled it like a pro. She shared cute pictures and updates of how she was doing which made me feel much for comfortable leaving her. I would absolutely rebook Jona! 😃”

“Sheryl was great! Very friendly and flexible with scheduling, which is comforting since issues during travel can happen at any time. I appreciated the photos she sent and the small updates about how my cat was doing. I absolutely would recommend her :)”

About: I would love to help you out with your doggies! We always had dogs growing up. I’ve had dogs my whole adult life as well. I rarely have had just one and the most I’ve owned at once is 3. I’d have more if my husband okayed it! 😂 I am a teacher on summer break and have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule. I would love to fill my days up with walking dogs! I am hoping to do some dog walking or playtime during the day, but I’m open to bringing them to my home to stay if needed. I currently have one chihuahua who likes to lounge on my couch. We have a regular client that we have about every other month. He is an adorable keeshound who loves to play. I have taken care of many types of dogs with varying temperaments over the years. I am happy to help you out!
“Jade was dependable and pleasant to work with. She was so great with our kitties which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. I will definitely be asking her to sit for us again. Thank you, Jade!”

Burnsville cat parents share their Rover experiences
We were gone on a 6 day trip and Samantha took such great care of our kitty, including giving him his medication daily. She sent great, descriptive updates and sent pictures which gave me a ton of peace of mind that he was doing okay! We’ll definitely use Samantha again the next time we go out of town.

Evelyn has been absolutely wonderful taking care of Yoko. She consistently checked in, kept me updated, and communicated with me throughout the entire time I was away. As someone who worries a lot about leaving my cat for several days, Evelyn gave me complete peace of mind. Knowing that Yoko was being cared for by someone so reliable, attentive, and compassionate made all the difference. I truly appreciate the care and attention she provided, and I always felt reassured that Yoko was in great hands. Evelyn is someone I can count on without hesitation, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Gabrielle was amazing. This was the first time I had left my almost 16 year old cat alone since he lost his litter mate last September, so I was very nervous about being away for an extended time. Knowing Gabrielle was stopping by gave me so much peace of mind. She has cats of her own and it truly shows how much she loves and understands them. Toby was so well cared for and even got to enjoy some time in the sun. Gabrielle is very detailed in her visit notes and sends lots of pictures, which meant so much to me while I was away. I will absolutely be booking her again. Thank you so much, Gabrielle!

Pickles was well cared for by Stephanie. She let my cat be comfortable with interactions, using treats to reassure her. I received updates each day on her food intake and litter box usage. I will be booking Stephanie again. Stephanie was understanding and flexible with my weather delayed departure.

Ivy took great care of our two girls! Everything was communicated extremely well and it is clear she truly cares about the animals. Her notes were detailed and I love all the fun pictures. Having Ivy take care of Bella and Gracie gave me peace of mind during our 2 week trip.
