About: I grew up with a variety of animals all around me, but I have especial experience with dogs and cats. I am a cat mama of 1 sweet, docile senior kitty. I am a 1st year medical student at the Jacobs School of Medicine, and I would love to take care of the furry friends in my new community! I am a full-time medical student. My first priority when I return home is my sweet old kitty, and your pet would join him in that spot as well! I am prompt to give abundant attention and play, and I follow a diligent feeding schedule. My cat is very socialized (grew up in a household of 7 people and 4 other cats/dogs), and he is fully up-to-date on his vaccinations. I love animals and would love to give a little extra care to others’ fur babies when I can! The safety and wellbeing of my cat is my number one priority, and I treat all animals to this same standard. I love showering my cat with attention, and I of course would pour my love into your pet as well. I am extremely mindful of respecting animals’ boundaries as well, and playing to the tune that is right for them. “Let me tell you. Nick came in clutch and was a lifesaver. Our previous sitter cancelled with 36 hours to spare and I was PANICKING. I messaged him half awake and he responded almost immediately. I have a not very social, insulin dependent diabetic baby so, Nick had a mini challenge in front of him accepting. He came over the next evening for a meet and greet and run through on such short notice and everything. Luckily, Xavier the cat (and his 2 brothers) mostly cooperated, but Nick was ready to squeeze under the bed and in the closet to get trouble his insulin. He provided updates and pictures at every check in! Could not recommend him enough and if we ever go anywhere again, will definitely be reaching back out.”

About: I love getting to know each individual pet’s personality and needs, and approach them with respect to make them feel comfortable and safe. I have many years of experience with animals who need insulin shots and oral medications, and experience with all ages. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! At home, I have a tripod husky and a cat who has traveled far with me. I go on miles-long walks every day… always with dog treats in my pockets :) I'm currently working from home setting my own schedule, so walking your dog would fit well into my day. If you live near me, an overnight at your place is possible as I like to give my Stormy cat her breakfast and outside grass time by mid morn. I have lots of cat toys in my house for my cat. I hope your dog has toys and if it's just a walk, then a good leash and baggies to collect poop are essential. I am all about fresh water and seeing that their space is just how they like it.
About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. Elisabeth was a great sitter. We booked her for our two cats and also for some indoor and outdoor plant watering. She was timely, responsive, and took care of pets and home. We had a fluorescent light randomly break (or maybe not randomly considering cats lol) in the basement and she let us know immediately and also took the extra step to clean it up. Would recommend!

Amanda was amazing with my 2 boys......who she never even saw lol. They are both pretty anti social and wanted nothing to do with someone who isn't mom. She did hear them one day though! Amanda still came over and made sure their cat needs were met and even hung out to try to coax them out a bit and left temptations in her wake for them to find.
