I am a graduate student with an internship which entails the need for a daily routine. I am more flexible for weekends and holidays, and I am also willing to make other days work given enough time notice in advance. I love to be outside year-round, especially fall and winter, so I will be active with animals in snow/cold or sunshine which means walks and playing!

I have three cats who have everything they need including love and grooming! I have a three-legged cat who requires more care for hygiene and grooming, so he gets lion cuts every so often. All of my cats get treats and are spoiled with love. I am flexible and willing to work around whatever is needed for safety and the environment. I would prefer to do house visits and drop-ins to feed/let outside, etc. I would need to be provided equipment like leashes, crates, food bowls, food, etc. I do not want to disrupt your pet's routine or familiarity of their own materials.

Let me know of any common behaviors which may impact our day, like pulling when walking, etc. Please let me know if you use a harness or just a leash to the collar. A couple things which would be helpful to know: medications, jumper (jumps up when entering a home), cannot be trusted by the door in case of running away, food schedule, etc.
A typical day
It seems helpful when I am guided to familiar areas by you, so that your dog feels comfortable. I love playing with dogs, via fetch or learning tricks. I also love lounging with a dog to watch a movie.

Pet care experience
I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. I absolutely love animals and plan to incorporate them into my therapeutic process with clients in the future. Please send them my way and I will give them all the love and empathy while you're away and as needed!

Candace was amazing! I was worried leaving my 7 wk old puppy but they did wonderfully! Candace kept me posted with pics and made sure he was well taken care of! Definitely will be using again and recommend!
Candace watched my Kitty several times while I went out of town. Candace ensured Kitty was well taken care of by feeding her, playing with her, and giving her plenty of water. Candace went above and beyond by staying with Kitty for extended periods so Kitty was not alone. Candace made me feel safe to leave Kitty in their care because Candace sent me photos of Kitty and frequently updated me on how Kitty was doing. Candace is wonderful at maintaining consistent, effective communication.
