Safety, trust & environment
As someone who's top priority is my own pets' safety, I take pet care and safety very seriously. If you have specific requirements in your home you need me to follow, I will actively ensure I am following those instructions. Whether it is a drop-in, a walk, or watching a pet over night, I will be sure to work with you to make sure we meet your specific needs for each special situation. Because I care about your pets' safety as well as my own, I do require meet-and-greets before every sit, even if it's just one or two drop-ins.
Information Ciara F. would like to know about your pet
If you have any important medical information about your pet's needs, please let me know ahead of the booking or at our meet-and-greet. I don't have experience with medical injections, but I have plenty of experience with administering oral medication through pill pockets, syringes, and powder.
A typical day
I really like to ensure that pets have their routine in place. If this means you have certain activities you do with your pet on a daily basis, I will absolutely follow that routine. I've happily walked dogs, played tug-of-war (and lost many times :)), and fetch. For cats, I love to play with tease wands, cat trees, tubes, or fetch toy springs.

Pet care experience
For most of my life, I've owned and taken care of A LOT of pets. :) I've taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even a chinchilla or two! This past summer, I was lucky enough to have the chance to volunteer at the "dog house" at my local humane society shelter. This involved cleaning up after the dogs, cleaning out kennels, and letting them out to play in the yard. While I don't have much training with really young pups, I can promise that I'll take great care to make sure your pet is happy and cared for.

Ciara goes above and beyond when taking care of my boys. From her detailed check ins assuring me all is okay to her genuine care and enthusiasm for animals, she is by far the best sitter I have had (and I’ve had many!). I can enjoy going away because I know the boys are in good hands and my place is taken care of. She is also just lovely and has a great attitude. Cannot recommend her enough!!!

We had Ciara stay for Memorial Day weekend and she was great with our high maintenance fur babies. ❤️ We have a small dog who is very attached to us and she got him to warm up, play and seemed happy when we got home. We also have an older kitty who gets insulin, and she had no issues administering that. I am definitely going to reach out to Ciara again! She’s great!

Ciara made me feel totally safe leaving my puppy in her care. From start to finish she was wonderful to work with. She made my first rover experience a breeze. I know Daisy can't wait to go on a walk with her again soon!

Ciara was amazing from the very beginning. She was so accommodating and fast to set up a meet and greet with our big guy and was great with him when she came to meet him! She has the patience of a Saint and it’s so evident that she has a heart for animals! Wilson was a difficult the first 24 hours, being much more reserved and timid than his usual self and didn’t follow commands well for her but she was so loving and patient an let him warm up to her. She went above and beyond to communicate with us while we were away and sent us plenty of photos and videos to let us know our big love was well taken care of! I would highly recommend Ciara and we would love to use her again!
