About: I have been working with animals throughout my whole life. I have worked on several horse farms, have always had pets of my own, and have been pet sitting for over a decade. I am able to administer medication, insulin injections, and any specific requests that your pet requires. I am knowledgeable in dog and cat body language and will do everything in my power to make sure that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away. I have spent several years training horses and am now helping friends train their dogs. I have cared for several senior dogs that need walking assistance, special dietary needs, and medications or injections. I have also cared for puppies under the age of 1 year. I work full time at Longwood Gardens which is an 8-hour workday. If the pet is close enough for me to drive over to care for them during my lunch break (11:30am - 12:00pm), then I will. Otherwise, I will care for your pet before work and immediately after work. On a weekend, I have more freedom and availability to be present and spend as much time as needed with your pet. I typically remain calm and patient and let your pet get used to me being in their space. I like to build trust with your pet and let them get to know me at their own rate within reason. I stick to the routine that their owner provides me. I will factor in cuddle time, play time, walk time, or whatever specific activities your pet likes to do. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you are away.

About: I have always had a dog as part of my family. Neighbors and family friends have relied on me to walk, play, feed, and stay overnight with their dogs. I play college basketball at Widener so I have the stamina to be energetic and fun to get your dog’s energy out, but I also enjoy relaxing on the couch and snuggling. I am comfortable with administering oral medications. I have taken care of all kinds of dogs, from German Shepherds to French Bulldogs to Teacup Yorkies. I am currently a college student at Widener and now that my basketball season is over my schedule is open everyday except for on Tuesdays. I believe the golden rule even applies to animals! I treat them the way I would want to be treated - with love and kindness. I always want to make sure that they are comfortable and have what they need.
