About: I grew up with rabbits and various small pets. My first dog, Toto, was trained by me in elementary and middle school. Now, I spend my evenings caring for others animals whenever possible! About: Hey! My name is Conan and Im a veterinary medicine student. I love working with animals of all types and sizes and I'd love to meet your friend! I have experience fostering and volunteering at animal shelters, including everything from dogs, cats, bottle-fed babies, elderly kitties, reptiles, ducks, chickens, special-needs dogs/cats, and birds. I have a few years of experience dog walking and I have house sat for people with all different pets & for varying amounts of time. I also have two cats (North age 8 & Marcel age 4) and a leopard gecko (Sandwich age 3) of my own! They are my best friends and whole world. I'm currently on break from Veterinary School until the fall. So right now I have completely open availability, any day or time, including weekends and any holidays! When house sitting I can spend as much time as is needed in the home for walks, playtime, any cleanups, potty breaks, etc. But I do prefer to sleep in my own home because of my two cats who need me at night. However I am flexible and if your pet has a specific need or doesn't do well being alone certain times of day I can totally accomodate that! Your pet's safety is a non negotiable for me, it is so important to me that your pet feels comfortable with me no matter what we're doing. Establishing a bond with an animal can be the most rewarding experience in the world! When talking about safety with any pet, I take a precautious approach with anything that could become an 'oops!' or a 'hey you, get that out of your mouth!' moment. So I will always take precautions with anything being left out unmonitored like toys, food, anything chewable, stringy, or soft toys, etc. I never want to have to think twice about a preventable accident with your pet, so I always take the time to keep everyone safe. This goes especially for walks, your dog or cat's safety is always going to be at the front of my mind when interacting with any other furry friends nearby, as it is always better to be safe than sorry. Every pet needs a different relationship approach, and different play styles! There are some pets who just want to cuddle, ones who need specific play-styles to be interested, and others who need someone up to the task of frizbee-ing the Tasmanian Devil out of them! I know personally one of my cats only wants to lazily swat at one specific toy he keeps losing, and the other wants to run and leap around for 20 minutes straight. I am dedicated to learning what your pet really likes so they have a great time with me, and you can go to work, over a friends, or on vacation without a worry that they living their best life.
About: I own and live with two dogs I take care of regularly. Looking for some additional work to help and take care of your lovely furpets. Pet care fits into my life daily. About: Care and responsibility for animals were instilled in me from a very young age. I've taken care of dogs since having a Cocker Spaniel when I was 6 years old. As an adult, I have adopted 4 dogs - Cierno (Pitbull), Pumpkin (Staffie mix), Sweet Pea (Boxer - deaf), and Bodhi (newest Staffie mix). I fostered 11 dogs, over the course of 4 years, through Furkid Rescue. I was also a volunteer for Hello Bully for 3 years. Pumpkin served as a PitBull Ambassador, and I cared for and exercised the Pits at their halfway house. All of the dogs in my care have been given everything they need to be healthy and happy pups. I have extensive experience with bully breeds, elderly and deaf dogs. I recently lost my last 2 dogs - Pumpkin (15 years old) and Sweet Pea (12 years old) and added the love of a new puppy, Bodhi, in May 2023. Bodhi would LOVE to have a pup to run around the fenced yard, wrestle and play with. Your dog will be well cared for in my home while you are away! I walk Bodhi before I leave for work at 7 and when I get home at 4. I have a dog walker come M-H at 12:00 to take Bodhi on a 30 minute walk. If you'd like your dog to also be walked, let me know and I'll see if they're open to walking your pup too. Your dog will need to either come with crate or be ok to roam free in a room or the apartment. I don't have children so dogs are the beings that I raise and care for. I have a secured, fenced in, large yard, and a puppy for your dog to play and walk with. Bodhi has lots of toys to share, my pantry is stocked with treats and my house is full of love. Even with a yard, I know the importance of leashed walks so exercise is a priority in my home.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
