Delphine is in the late stages of terminal cancer, and her care requires patience, gentleness, and a deep respect for her autonomy and quirks. Mackenzie showed all of that and more. She was completely unfazed by the realities of end-of-life care, managing Delphine’s tumors, helping her up and down stairs, and handling the occasional accident with calm and compassion. Delphine, who is usually wary of new people, seemed genuinely at ease in Mackenzie’s presence. That alone speaks volumes. Mackenzie also sent thoughtful, funny updates that made me feel connected even when I couldn’t be there. I’m so grateful that in this tender time, Delphine had someone who treated her with dignity, care, and kindness. If I couldn’t be by her side, I’m thankful Mackenzie was.”

“Truly the best dog sitter we’ve ever had! Cookie (our corgi) stayed with Katherine for two days and one night during a heat wave, and somehow he still came home relaxed, happy, and totally himself. She made sure he got the exercise he needs—even in the heat—and it really showed. Katherine’s home is beautiful—so warm, clean, and inviting—and her garden is just as lovely. It’s clear she puts care into everything she does, and that includes how she takes care of the dogs she watches. When I picked Cookie up, he was calm and content, like he’d had his own little vacation. It’s not easy to wear out a corgi, but Katherine managed it with total thoughtfulness. It’s such a relief to know Cookie was in good hands, and it honestly made my time away so much easier. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to her again. So grateful!”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and the list goes on! I'm comfortable around all animals, and I absolutely adore them all! I go to school full time, but I do not have classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I can be available between classes on Wednesday and Thursday. There's lots of room for flexibility in my schedule. I will follow all instructions the owner provides. I can crate animals, take them on walks, feed, and water them, and keep them entertained throughout the day.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all. I often watched others dogs in the neighborhood growing up while people were out of town take care of friends and families dogs when they are traveling or at work I work from home and have a golden retriever who I already take care of. He loves to play with other dogs so loves whenever we get to god sit. I have a fenced yard and take the dogs for an afternoon and night walk on my lunch and after work. I have a dog of my own so my house is kept tidy with nothing that would be unsafe for dogs.
