Pet care is the biggest priority in my home. Knowing the pets schedule is key to humans and the animals sense of well-being and sanity. That being said: Drop off/ pick up schedule: 7:30 am - 6:00pm. *unless extraordinary circumstances /isolated need is communicated and agreed upon prior to booking daycare/boarding. Thank you!

I do not accept daycare/boarding dogs I have not met/introduced to my dog. If your dog(s) has any resource guarding behaviors (food/toys/humans) - it is highly likely not a good match with us and I would like to suggest using the Rover filter to find a sitter who only takes 1 client at a time. If your pet(s) has aggressive tendencies - the best I can offer you are my dog walking services /in your home visits or *overnight sitting in your dogs own environment *if I have no other clients booked at my home. We also only take clients whom have had/established a bond with their pet for minimum of 6 months (long enough to know their own pet and be able to articulate their routine/needs/preferences/behaviors and quirks). My husband and I both went to high school in Sonoma: I have been a consistent resident in the valley for over 30 years, worked at the local hospital for over two decades, raised my sons here. We are rooted and own our home. I take my dog for walks, he walks well with other dogs. Longer walks in the cool of the morning and evening. My dog is temperature sensitive and unmotivated with temperatures above 67 degrees. We have dog crates and pens to give every animal their personal space to eat and rest: meals can be fed in the kitchen, living room, back yard, dog room; we have space to accommodate 1-2 dogs who are not crate trained and can sleep separately from humans.

Information Robin B. would like to know about your pet
We are very conscientious around food allergies and are open to whatever your specific pets needs are to be comfortable and engaged. Sometimes the details that seem trivial to clients are the ones the pets rely on most - over sharing is encouraged. Does your dog(s) have any resource guarding? Food/toy aggression?
A typical day
7/7:30am let outside for potties, stretches and some light play; 8:00 breakfast/rest & digest; 9-12:00-ish outside play; 12-1:30~ siesta/mid day meals for those who partake; afternoon outside play; 5:00 dinner/rest and digest; 6:00 outside relief time; 7:00 in home cuddles until last potties 10:00pm then tuck in time. We have a nice long tunnel to zoom through, snuffle mats, flirt pole, frisbee, plenty of toys, fetch & manners practice with hypoallergenic treats/kibble. Covered deck in back yard; Water play/misting system for seasonal weather relief.

Pet care experience
*Yes we have a cat: no, the cat & dogs never cross: it’s a divide and thrive arrangement. Pet care is my only business. Small pack daycare & boarding means better individualized attention. Fear Free Boarding and Daycare Individual Certification Program completed 9/22/2023. Goals: Safe, Happy, Comfy, enriched pets! *4-8 hour potty breaks specified for boarding as a nod to sleeping through the night for everyone- during the day potty breaks are 2-4 hours minimum. Proof of current vaccines and parasite prevention will be required for daycare and boarding requests; for walks: please have current rabies tags. I have cared for animals since my childhood. 2020 and 2021 were devoted to caring for my geriatric cat and dog. We now have 1 adult cat and a neutered adult bull terrier. Raising our bull terrier from 10 weeks old is a marriage bonding experience since we are empty nesters with our human kids grown and moved out.

Reviews

Thank you Robin for your support and check/in with our Grey-girl; she was full of love and ready to have our undivided attention once we got unpacked. Thank you again for everything!

My girl had the most fun of her life hanging out at Casa Robin! The pupdates and photos showed a loving caring and fun environment! Thank you Robin!

Robin took such good care of my cat while I was away! She made sure to give great updates and lots of photos. She’s my new go-to pet care person!

Always happy to bring Rosco to Robin! He’s a tired happy boy and she always sends lots of pictures
