We work from home & love dogs!
We've fostered numerous dogs through rescue groups in LA and San Francisco, from small poodles to large pit bulls. One of our more recent fosters had pretty bad medical issues which required specialized care and attention. Our current dog is a foster-fail (she was meant to be adopted out but we ended up keeping her). She is sweet as can be, however she does not do well with high energy dogs - she thinks she is the "fun police". For that reason, we can only take lower energy (slightly older) dogs. As we work from home in Sonoma, we are able to care for your dog in the way he or she needs. We can take your pup outside when they need to go. We have a fenced-in yard, and also take our dog out on a short walk many times throughout the day, plus one long one to get the energy out. We look forward to talking with you! Very responsive to messages, reply right away. They took wonderful care of Lulu and sent pictures as well. They have a very clean home and yard. I would take Lulu there again!
I have never used Rover before and had a last-minute emergency for my shy little rescue, Maya. She was so happy when I picked her up! Sarah and Matt were kind, communicative, and made me feel like my beloved Maya was in the best of hands. Will definitely go back to this happy, dog-friendly home!

Programa
We take our dog out 4x a day and would do the same with yours (unless there was a reason to take them out more). At least one of those times would be on a long walk to burn off some energy!

We have a fenced backyard and will be taking at least one long walk a day with your pup! This is currently what we do for our own dog.

We live in a very dog-friendly area. Lots of our neighbors have dogs and the Sonoma bike trail is nearby. We love to go on walks in town.
