Lori & Frank treated my dogs like their own — they showered them with love and attention and took exceptional care of them. They sent adorable pictures and kept me updated (without being annoying about it) while I was out of the country for 9 days. They have a lovely cozy dog-friendly home, and a very nice fully fenced yard. They are both super kind dog lovers and also responsible adults so you can feel comfortable leaving your beloved pooch or pooches in their care. Just the best.”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and have volunteered at shelters and adoption events like Rocket Dog Rescue and Pets Lifeline since I was a kid. Through this rescue work, I am experienced in safe new dog introductions and behavioral de-escalation. I adopted my current dog at an event I was working and raised her as my emotional support animal on my busy college campus, which taught me how to keep pets grounded in stimulating environments. She is fantastic with small dogs, so if your little ones stay with us, they will have a friendly companion. Whether you have a big breed, a timid rescue, or an independent cat, I am dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for them while you are away. I just finished my masters program so I currently have a highly flexible schedule, meaning I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day. My weekends are sometimes eventful, but my weeks are free for some furry love! I live in a cozy condo in Sonoma with my dog. While I don't have a private yard, I have a beautiful porch perfect for afternoon sunbathing. Safety is my top priority, so dogs are only ever allowed on the porch when I am home and actively supervising them. To make up for the lack of a yard, I go on frequent adventures! My dog and I regularly visit the lovely park just around the corner to run and search for lizards, and we love walking the perimeter of the Sonoma Square for people watching.

“Emily and family took amazing care of our dog Chloe when we were out of town. From our meet and greet, Emily asked a lot of very good questions like what habits we allowed and did not allow, what kinds of updates we needed, whether we allowed her to wear her harness when not on a leash, etc. Emily seemed to have a strong background in training young dogs. Their dog Chaka seemed to play with Chloe all day and tired her out. Chloe went home very tired and very happy. While we were stressed about packing and forgot our mini white noise machine, Emily offered to lend us hers. We received frequent photo updates, and Chloe was always very happy in the photos. We would definitely recommend Emily and family took take care of your dogs.”

Gina and Marcus (and their kids) were awesome with Bean. She got lots of love and play time with them. It was really reassuring to know that bean was being well taken care of while I was away. Carl is simply the best!!! Our 6 year old rescue dog has tons of anxiety and separation anxiety as well. Carl was able to navigate all of Cleo’s issues seamlessly and Cleo truly liked Carl’s calming playful presence. We will be telling all our friends about how amazing Carl was with our Cleo girl. We appreciate Carl more than words could ever say. He made it possible for us to go on a family vacation knowing Cleo was in good hands. And it was fun getting all of Carl’s photo updates too. Sarah and Matt are experienced dog sitters and they did a great job of looking after my senior dog Pumpkin with his special needs for meds and meals. Pumpkin spent a calm day wandering around the house and garden and going for walks; even more importantly he had a peaceful night. He also got along immediately with their adorable dog Connie; they coexisted quite harmoniously. I'd be very happy to have Pumpkin stay with Sarah and Matt again.
