I have never seen my dog snuggle up to our other dog at home, like she did with Tyson! Will defineately book again with them. They were overall amazing!!! Definitely recommend to other rover users.”

About: I’ve been passionate about dogs and pet care for over 15 years. As the founder of my own pet wellness brand, Shopypaws, I learned not only how to care for pets with love, but also how important their emotional well-being, routines, nutrition, and behavior are. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including active dogs like my own Border Collie mix, Reaver. I truly enjoy spending time with pets, making them feel safe, loved, exercised, and comfortable while their owners are away. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets because I treat every dog like family. I’m patient, attentive, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals and training positive behaviors. 🐾 Your pet will receive loving care, attention, patience, and lots of affection with me. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I have a flexible schedule and can provide walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and lots of attention throughout the day. I understand how important routines are for dogs, so I do my best to keep them comfortable, active, and stress free while their owners are away. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or calm and shy, I adapt to their personality and needs to make them feel safe and loved. 🐾 Creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for pets is extremely important to me. I treat every dog like family and pay close attention to their behavior, routines, feeding schedules, and comfort levels. I have experience caring for dogs of different personalities and energy levels, including active breeds like my own dog, Reaver. My background as the founder of Shopypaws also taught me a lot about pet wellness, behavior, and positive care practices. I keep pet parents updated with photos and communication so they can feel at peace while away. My goal is always for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy in my care. 🐶✨
“Chloe and her husband were super amazing. Great communication and provided photos daily without having to ask. I know my pup enjoyed her time there as she came home crashed on the couch the rest of the day. Guessing she did a lot of running and playing. Thanks Chloe!”

“Chesney was great with our basset hound Wesson. A few days before his stay we did a meet and greet to make sure her dogs and mine got along. Drop off was super easy and we were in constant contact with her doing his stay. She would send us updates via text and pictures which was great. We will for sure use her again if we need a doggie sitter!”

About: I really enjoy animals so much. I just do not meet a stranger when it comes to dogs and cats. Your home would be my home away from home. Im 49 years old with a 5 year old son. I enjoy teaching him about how wonderful each animal can be. I personally believe if you teach a child to love animals they will grow up to be wonderful people. I do not have a big home but it is ful of love. We treat all animals like they are part of our family. I can not wait to meet you and your family (pets).. This job is a test to see if i can make an income big enough to stay home with my son. . God Bless each and everyone of you.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. We’ve had our current dog for almost 4 years and raised him from a 5-week old puppy. I’m currently working full time. I have availability in the mornings before work and afternoons after work. Full availability on the weekends for any needs. I have a fenced in large backyard. We live in a quiet older neighborhood. Away from main roads and traffic. Cozy area for all dogs.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had more than the average number of pets, which gave me extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the last six years, my family has owned and operated Cedar Brook German Shepherds, where I have helped care for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs while helping them find loving homes. Through my experience with dogs, I have learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every dog has unique needs and routines. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, exercise routines, basic grooming, administering medications as instructed, and providing extra care and attention to senior dogs and puppies. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals and the genuine care I have for every pet I work with. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, companionship, or extra patience and attention, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to give every pet the same level of care, attention, and affection that I would want for my own. Pet care fits very well into my schedule. I am currently finishing my master’s degree online and work as a personal trainer/basketball coach, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. Because I complete my coursework from home and have control over much of my work schedule, I am able to dedicate time to pet visits, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and providing companionship. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so pet care is a natural fit alongside my current responsibilities. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a long walk, or consistent care while you’re away, I am committed to making sure they receive reliable attention, care, and plenty of love. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I have a fenced-in backyard that provides a safe space for dogs to play and get exercise. I also have spacious crates available if a pet is crate-trained or if an owner prefers their pet to have a designated space. I always follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I am also happy to care for pets in their own home. I understand that many pets are most comfortable in a familiar environment, so I will follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, routines, and any special needs. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same level of attention, patience, and care that I give my own pets.
About: This is mine (Katy Snipes) and my husbands (Chad) account. We have had dogs and cats our whole life. We are comfortable with basic training and commands and love the old timers who need a little more TLC. We can’t wait to meet your fur babies. I (Katy) am currently a stay at home mom with my sweet first born son. I am very flexible during the week and would love to get on some walks with your pets. My husband offers available hands week day evenings as well as weekends. We have a fenced in back yard that our beagle loves to run around and play in. He is a spitfire when the energy is high, but can also lounge around the house when he knows it’s time to chill. We have a crate available if that is needed. However, our house is very pet friendly and open for your pet to make themselves at home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Boiling Springs
The pictures and the memes that she sent every day on our vacation, literally put me at ease. They also cracked me up.😂🤣 to find someone that obviously loves dogs & makes them feel at home is incredibly rare. I never want anyone else watching my dogs except for Martha. 💕💕💕

Liliya and family were fantastic! We can’t thank them enough for taking care of Cashew. Short story long…we had another sitter cancel last minute and left us in a bind. We scrambled and found Liliya to take care of our little guy. She responded quickly and efficiently. We can’t thank her enough. She left us updated with pics and correspondence. Would highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
