“Ayaka was amazing! We were able to enjoy our weekend vacation so much more knowing our pup was in good hands. She updated us with pictures throughout the weekend and it was clear our dog was taken care of and living it up. We highly recommend Ayaka!”
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds! I have experience with mediation management and administration and am comfortable caring for medically complex or senior pets :) I work full time but do work from home about 75% of the time at least so I am home most of the day to care for your pets! I have two friendly dogs and two dog-savvy cats who get along with everyone! I can easily crate or separate animals into separate spaces in my home if the need arises
“They were great very professional and reasonable. They also send pictures and videos and respond back very fast. Had a great experience with them my dog didn’t want to come back home.”

“Ms. Cristina did an amazing job watching our puppy Nala over the weekend! It was our first time leaving her, so we were a little nervous but Ms. Cristina did an amazing job and gave us lots of updates. She has a nice home and you dog will be safe and comfortable. “Madi and her family were so welcoming and loving to my girls. They provided peace of mind and were accommodating to our extra needs due to being stuck out of town longer than anticipated. She sent multiple daily updates with photos showing me they were in the best of care. My girls experienced so many cuddles, walks, and a lot of playtime…they may have even been reluctant to leave Madi’s home! The communication was beyond excellent and I for sure trust her with my dogs again! 🐾🩷💕”

“Thank you Lindsy, my baby Millie had a wonderful time with you and your family. She came home happy and tired from playing and napping all day. I appreciate your accommodation and kindness, we will be booking again for sure, probably today!”

About: I have had dogs all my life my last dog , Vito, was 16 1/2 when he passed away. He went everywhere with me. I am living with my retired navy chief son and we have ralphie , a mixed hound and four month old Minnie a terrier mix both from lucky pup rescue in Greenville sc. we have a 12 year old cat who was Vito’s best friend and is dog friendly the corgi in the pics is Ein, my grand dog I was babysitting for a week. I live with my son but I will be the primary caretaker when pet sitting or boarding I take care of the “kids” feed them train them potty leash and manners. My son works but is an important part of loving them. They howl when he comes in from work. They are allowed on the furniture and roam free in the house. They get non rawhide chew sticks. Fed twice a day. Go for walks. Play. Love them. Kisses galore my grand daughter who lives in tn has a five year old corgi . Ein, short for Einstein who we watch here when they are away from home. I moved here from Virginia , a mile from the tn border, last July. I am a retired nurse. Minnie came to us not potty trained so we are currently working on a door bell system to let us know when they have to potty. Usually I let them out about twice every hour. We have a large screened in back porch and fenced back yard. I help with laundry cooking etc. I. Take care of the “ kids”. My son adores them. Ralphie is a little over a year old. Take them to the dog park often. Leash training Minnie. She has a pink harness and pink retractable leash
About: I really enjoy animals so much. I just do not meet a stranger when it comes to dogs and cats. Your home would be my home away from home. Im 49 years old with a 5 year old son. I enjoy teaching him about how wonderful each animal can be. I personally believe if you teach a child to love animals they will grow up to be wonderful people. I do not have a big home but it is ful of love. We treat all animals like they are part of our family. I can not wait to meet you and your family (pets).. This job is a test to see if i can make an income big enough to stay home with my son. . God Bless each and everyone of you.
“Ashley was great! Chang looked like he was having a great time in his pictures that she sent to me. I’m very appreciative of her being comfortable with Chang being old and having several issues. I will definitely be using her again!”

“You know your dog is happy with your sitter when you go the next time and he pulls on his leash to get into her house! We are so happy with Shawna’s care of Rufus while we were away. Also we were very thankful she noticed a hotspot under his armpit and got him well on the way to recovery before we returned. Rufus will definitely be back! 😊”

“Garrett was fantastic with our dog, Bailey! He took her to the dog park, gave her a bath, and kept us updated with daily photos and videos. His communication was great, and it was clear he genuinely cared about Bailey. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely book with Garrett again! Highly recommend!!”

“Our tripod, Poppy, spent a week at Sierra’s home. Poppy was well cared for and made a new best friend. Sierra sent lots of pictures during our trip to let us know how Poppy was doing. We recommend Sierra’s services on Rover 100%, and will send Poppy for another stay in the future.”

“Chesney was great with our basset hound Wesson. A few days before his stay we did a meet and greet to make sure her dogs and mine got along. Drop off was super easy and we were in constant contact with her doing his stay. She would send us updates via text and pictures which was great. We will for sure use her again if we need a doggie sitter!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
