About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds! I have experience with mediation management and administration and am comfortable caring for medically complex or senior pets :) I work full time but do work from home about 75% of the time at least so I am home most of the day to care for your pets! I have two friendly dogs and two dog-savvy cats who get along with everyone! I can easily crate or separate animals into separate spaces in my home if the need arises
“My dog seemed to really enjoy her time with Marnette, David, and Gouda. This was the first time we had our dog stay with someone who we didn’t know personally. I was nervous, but Marnette and David took very good care of our dog. They are trustworthy and kind. We appreciated check-ins and pictures in the morning and at night. Highly recommend!”

“Carrie and Kurt were wonderful to our two fur baby’s. they treated them as part of the family right away and sent pictures and videos almost every day! we will definitely be repeat clients!”

“Heather was very pleasant and easy to work with! She sent lots of photos and made sure to clarify any questions or concerns I had at drop off. I reviewed photos throughout the duration of his stay and he didn’t want to leave! I’ll be booking again!”

“Laura was amazing!! I got so many pictures and she was so communicative. Her and Kyle really know what they’re doing. My dog loved them and their pups, too! Definitely will be using them again ❤️”

“Garrett was great!! Needed a last minute sitter and he was available!! Was very attentive to my dog, sent multiple pictures without me needing to ask. House was very clean. I haven’t had the best experiences on Rover, however after this booking I definitely will book with him again and become a repeat client!!”

“Michelle was very responsive and sent many pictures throughout Turkey’s stay. There seems to be lots of friends to play with and Turkey came home tired and happy!”

“Kharen and her husband are a lovely couple who are very warm and friendly. The have a cute backyard which is so convenient. We have always felt that our dog is left in good hands!”

“Grayson and Greg were wonderful hosts for Hank! They have an inviting home that is very pet-friendly. They have 2 sweet dogs who got along with Hank very well. Grayson and Greg provided timely communication and feedback regarding any of Hank’s needs. They provided Hank with a lot of activity, socialization with their dogs and cuddles. They are very pet-centered in their approach and provided Hank with an excellent experience. I will be rebooking with them in the future if they have the availability. 🐾👍”

“Our boys we exhausted from all the playing they did at your house. We used to say “let’s go see the baby & Emilee” we might change it to the “Fun house”, lol. Thank you for taking great care of them again!”

“Excellent, empathetic care for our two dogs, both of whom can be on the shy side. We are a repeat client and plan to continue requesting care from Angela and her family.”

“Toni is fantastic. She went over and above to make sure that our senior dog had the best care - giving her meds and lots of extra snuggles. She provided lots of updates and photos throughout our time away. We highly recommend Toni!”
About: Hello! My name is Alex and I have had a dog (or two) my entire life. Right now, Hank is my main man. He's a boxer mix I rescued in Albuquerque, NM in 2022. We think he's 5 or 6, so let's go with 5! I love all animals and I love being active so your pet is sure to have the best walk and/or playtime hanging with me. I'm a very reliable, attentive, and trustworthy person and pet owner and I promise to make your life (and your pet's) all the easier by taking the stress out of being away from home. I currently work from home so I can give your pet all the time and attention they deserve. I promise your pet will return safe, happy, and ready to play with me again :) I am available every day of the week, with the majority of my time spent at home and around my neighborhood. I drop my children off in the mornings to either camp or school, and do pick up in the afternoons. As long as I can work around those pick ups and drop offs, I'm available! I have a fully fenced yard and a large, pet-friendly house (non-smoking). I have a neutered boxer mix named Hank who we rescued back in 2022 in Albuquerque, NM. Hank is very friendly, energetic, and curious and always enjoys playing with a new friend.
“What a relief to find Tammy through Rover! Our sweet min Schnauzer had a great stay with Ms. Tammy for an extended time we had to be away. She was thorough, and sent us an update & pics each day we were away. I knew our pup was doing great. She got to go on walks, play and she ate well the entire stay. In other words, Tammy spoiled her like we do! We will not hesitate to call on Tammy again for her excellent care for our fur baby. They bonded well and it was a great week where I did not have to worry one bit. Thanks, Tammy!!”

“We are so lucky to have found Michelle. She is absolutely WONDERFUL! Our boy Louie was so well loved and cared for— in every picture she sent, he had a big ol smile on his face. Excellent communication and updates during his stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was easy to rest at night knowing he was in good hands. Thank you Michelle!”

“Very pleased with her services. My dog was able to get daily play sessions in the yard, and she frequently sent photos and videos showing how my dog was doing. Getting those updates really set my mind at ease about how my dog was doing.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
