1. Ginger T.

“Ginger is amazing in every way and took excellent loving care of our two shy kitties and our home. She communicates wonderfully and as I requested, went above and beyond in her service and I was very comforted that she was here. My two adopted (and still adapting) fur babies were calm and happy when we returned home … and that says a lot! I highly highly recommend Ginger and look forward to our working together again in tge future!”

10. Autumn C.

“Autumn did a great job house sitting and caring for our three dogs for a week. Izzy, Roxi and Riley are very sweet but require care and attention. Izzy is the most high maintenance, she is a 5 year old Brussels Griffon and needs medication 7 times a day. Roxi is our 12yr old Min Schnauzer and has some special dietary needs and Riley is our two year old Lab with a lot of energy. Autumn took care of all of their needs and contacted me if there were any issues to discuss. She followed all of the advice we gave her on managing the dogs. In addition the home was in good order when we returned. I can recommend Autumn for house sitting and dog sitting for all types of dogs.”

“Susan did a wonderful job with our 3 dogs. She gave updates often and even came over the day before to get to know the dogs. She understands the mind of the dog! She really took the time to understand the best strategy in taking care of our dogs. She is down to earth and absolutely lovely. Thank you, Susan!”

About: I grew up with love for animals but also believe it come with great responsibilities. Before we moved to SC I did volunteer in Humane Society in Virginia.. I'm very free during the workdays, some weekends I can be partly tied up. We can talk about specific weekends because it will very. So just let me know:) Big fenced yard with garden. One doggi more on the shy side but loves doggi chases and zoomies, kennel free, using talking buttons and also friendly only indoor cats, also chickens in another fenced part.

17. Katie A.

“Katie is the BEST. My dog is a special needs, 17 year old anxious dachshund. He’s near the end of his life and I don’t want him to be alone. Even though she had other plans when I first requested her, she continued checking to see if I had found anyone. She called around trying to help me find someone who could sit ALL day, which is a challenge in its self. When I wasn’t able to find someone, she gave up her plans to be with my Bailey. I’m so protective and nervous to leave anyone with him but myself. Well, Katie was able to calm him, reassure his fears that he was safe. She found ways to calm him during a panic attack, which I’d never tried before.. She is resourceful to address unexpected needs. and attentive to all his special needs, including diapers. Most people would not take on this job. I say this to show her dedication and passion to help people and their beloved pets. She sends pictures and videos. An added bonus. She is great at catching really good photos of your pet. Check out her posted photos. she stayed in touch with me throughout the day. Which gave me the peace and assurance I needed. Most important, she was able and willing to work with all my challenging fears, doubts of leaving my dog, and the many times I changed my mind, and scheduled times etc. She stuck with me and helped me get thru the day. Thank you Katie ***** If Rover reads this review, as I’ve learned you do,?? please better clarify your “HomeSitting” category option. It’s does not specify hours that will be provided for the price listed. Nor does it included any category that addresses special need pets that need Basic hone care sitters. Some just need company all day to protect themselves from harm. Some are blind, deaf, need extra potty break, diapers, hourly feedings, medicine giving, bathing after diaper changer etc. pet parents need a category that’s reasonably priced for pet parents, yet worth while for the Rover sitter. High hourly rates are too high for the amount of hours needed on a regular bases, on top of all the expense special needs parents also are struggling with. Hope you’ll create this new category and fair pricing gir both sides. Most sitters don’t know the extent of care they are accepting the way it is now. This is causing conflicts between Sitters and Parents and what each party expects People like Katie are rare to come upon. She is what keeps Rover in Business,”

19. Carlee B.
“Carlee has kept all of my animals multiple times, for more than a week at a time. She has kept my dogs, my cats, and even my chickens! She follows all my directions to the letter and even sends me videos and photos of my pets. They all love her. The day she sat in our chicken run doing a crossword puzzle to visit with the chickens, I knew we had found our girl. When she would come by later to visit my pets, I was even more sure. When she gifted me framed photos of my Percy cat after he passed, I cried. She provides the best possible care coupled with genuine love for animals. She is honest and dependable - you can’t go wrong with Carlee!!’”
