About: I began raising my Doberman pinscher at 10 weeks old. He is now 10 years old, well-trained, and very cuddly. I've also helped raise my family's Rottweiler, who is now 14. Most recently, I adopted a pointer/lab/pitbull mix who is now 7 years ago. She was very timid, anxious, and not potty trained at all. She now sits by the door whenever she has to do her business. She has also snuggled with my pet bunny! I'm amazed at the progress we've made with her. I am very active but can snuggle up with a lazy dog. I'm warm but stern and good at training dogs. I am also a cat lover. I have cat sitted while training a puppy- multitasking comes naturally. I have raised parakeets and a ball python, so I'm willing to try anything new! :-) I have a 14 month old active baby who absolutely loves dogs. He will be accompanying me in my dog sitting adventures. I have a very flexible schedule. I have just moved to North Carolina and have been a stay-at-home mom with my 13 month old baby. I am still writing remotely (I was a journalist before my little one) but I can choose my assignments and schedule. I usually go for a morning, afternoon and evening walk/hike- with or without a dog, but always with my baby. When I feed any pets- no matter how friendly or timid - I always watch them until they finish. You never know when a pup will get possessive over its food. If they’re allowed on the furniture or bed, I love snuggling with them! The most important thing to do generally is to provide pets with plenty of exercise and great food!

About: I have a true love of every furry friend out there. I love large breeds as much as small, so I’m comfortable with any breed. I also love to walk and hike, so if your dog is high energy, I can match that! I currently work part time at an animal rescue with a flexible schedule, so I have lots of free time to spend with your pet. I have experience with dogs, cats, and many animals. If dog sitting, I am happy to come twice per day to feed, walk and love your pet. I understand how hard it is to leave them behind. I will happily text you photos and updates, as often as you would like!

Best pet sitters ever for our two Cavaliers! From our first meeting, we immediately felt that we had made two new friends. They followed our directions exactly as our “fur babies” were groomed and cared for just like we were still at home with them. We treasured the pictures sent while we were away. When we returned, their sheets and towels were washed and the dishwasher had been run. We look forward to our next trip because MB & Lindsey provide us with total confidence in the care of your canine family members!

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life and have provided care from the puppy phase to end of life. Dogs bring me incredible joy, and I consider it a privilege to spend time with them. I sometimes forget people's names I meet, but I have never forgotten a dog's name! I just adore them. I am available to pet sit at your home overnight. I also offer other services including 30 minute dog walks and 30-45 minute drop-in visits to check on your dog, feed him, and provide play time. I work full time Monday - Friday and usually get home about 6pm. I am available evenings, overnights and weekends to pet sit or provide drop-ins and dog walks. I always had sitters stay in my home when I had a dog because it helped my dog to have his own environment and routine when I was away. I am available to provide pet care in your home to provide this same comfort for your dog.

Heather was a great sitter for our home and dog. She took the time to meet us ahead of time, learn about our pup’s quirks, and was respectful of our home while we were away. She was communicative and sent us the perfect amount of updates to give us peace of mind. We will definitely keep her in mind for future bookings. Thanks again, Heather!

About: I bring a broad background in animal care, with years of experience volunteering at dog and cat rescues in Guatemala. During that time, I fostered dogs, trained puppies, and assisted at spay and neuter clinics. I am active and enjoy running with dogs, which makes me a great match for high-energy pets. In addition to my dog experience, I have worked with horses and lived with cats, giving me a strong understanding of animals with different needs and personalities. My goal is always to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care so pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can provide pet care 24/7. Most of my time is spent managing and maintaining my property, which gives me a steady routine and plenty of availability for pets. I enjoy being active and outdoors, so I’m happy to take dogs for walks, spend quality time with cats, and ensure all pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I live on a quiet dead-end road in the woods, right by a river, providing a peaceful and secure environment for pets. I have a friendly cat to keep other animals company when appropriate. I also care for pets in their own homes, spending time training, walking, and engaging them safely outdoors. I am attentive and vigilant, ensuring pets are happy, supervised, and well-cared for at all times.

I’m sure if Grady could talk he would say he loved Anna. She did a wonderful job with him. She went above and beyond in caring for him and she left everything clean and in order. I didn’t get a whole lot of pics but not sure I needed a bunch of pictures of him sleeping😂! I was very pleased and would not hesitate to use her again. Thank you Anna.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was a child. Every animal I meet likes me quickly. I have a knack with them. Even when they don't like other people, I win them over. For the last 5 years I have been caring for my senior, diabetic, miniature poodle. That requires being vigilant about what and when he eats as well as giving him an insulin shot after each meal. I can take care of high-maintenance animals as well as easy-going pets. I'm currently working part-time from my home. I have plenty of time to spend with my furry friends. I am available during the day, or evenings. For the right client, I would be willing to stay in your home overnight. I walked dogs daily for 2 clients when I was living in Bangkok, Thailand. They trusted me with keys to their home so I could come and go during the day M-F. There was never a problem.

About: I grew up helping take care of dogs, from young pups to old pals. We had 3 pugs, 2 of which we raised, and 4 labs at different times, one of which we raised. I helped care for all of them into their senior years, and they’re all a part of my fondest memories! I make my living as a musician, working for myself, so while I can be busy on the weekends and go on tours at times, outside of those things, my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m extremely flexible during the week, and while my weekends are often busy, I could still be open to day-time checkins or walks. Normally, I know my schedule quite far in advance, so I can be reliable. I am prepared to treat your dog as the individual they are, with attention to any details and intentionality they may require. If your dog needs a place to stay, I live in a 3 bedroom house on three acres, plus a screened in porch. I welcome dogs inside and have lots of space to take them for walks. I have no other pets (yet!) and no kids, so I am able to fully dedicate my attention to your pooch. What’s more, I am open to coming to you, whether that’s day-time checkins or overnight stays, whatever your situation calls for!

Leo is a fantastic dogsitter. He is a warm and grounded person who clearly loves dogs! We left for an extended vacation of over two weeks and needed an exceptional caregiver. We felt lucky to find Leo. He clearly connected with our 6 month old Kangal who is a wonderful dog - full of energy and very independent minded who needs someone loving and caring like Leo. Leo is attentive to detail, very responsive and professional in all his interactions. He left the house immaculate. We look forward to working with him again!!

About: I love dogs and cats I was a little girl. I have 2 dogs myself. one a chocolate Lab and yorkiepoo. I was watching my sister dogs and just fell in love with dog sitting. I have train my dogs and even my sister puppies. I know how to do CPR on dogs and cats. I love to teach new tricks to old dogs and even some cats. I'm very active so I love to play with dogs. I'm a very trustworthy person and work really hard. My mom calls our family the "pet whisper" because we haven't met one pet that hasn't like us. I hope you give me the chance to love, care, and play with your pet as I do with my own. I work full time at Amazon. I play with puppies and kittens on my weekends. I do offer sleep over Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (This may be with other fur babies) Currently just me so your fur babies will have all the attention. Ginger is amazing in every way and took excellent loving care of our two shy kitties and our home. She communicates wonderfully and as I requested, went above and beyond in her service and I was very comforted that she was here. My two adopted (and still adapting) fur babies were calm and happy when we returned home … and that says a lot! I highly highly recommend Ginger and look forward to our working together again in tge future!
