About: I’ve been dog sitting for about 3 years, and I also worked at a doggy daycare for a year! During that time, I gained experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Working at a daycare taught me how important patience and understanding are, especially when dogs miss their owners, feel anxious, or don’t want to eat. I know every dog is different, and I always take the time to understand their individual needs and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, and I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m currently a college student, so my schedule and availability change each semester depending on my classes. I also work part-time on weekends, but I have free time during the week that I would love to spend caring for dogs! While weekdays are generally easier for me, I’m also open to weekend pet sitting and would be happy to discuss availability in advance. I think pet sitting fits perfectly into my college routine because it allows me to do something I genuinely enjoy while balancing school and work. I love spending time with dogs, and I truly believe their companionship would brighten my day just as much as I hope to brighten theirs! Since I currently live in a college dorm, I only offer pet care in the owner’s home. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe and comfortable, especially when their owners are away. I believe keeping them in a familiar environment and maintaining their usual routine can make a big difference! I’m very respectful of each owner’s home and always make sure to follow any instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs their dog may have. This is what I love most about pet sitting—getting to know them and observing their personalities as they become more comfortable with me. I am currently only working a few days a week as I am in school. So I will have more than enough time, love, and definitely cuddles to give to your furry family. About: I have taken care of everything you can think of, it began when I was 9 years old. My family moved on a horse farm, where we took care of 13 horses everyday. After that my family ran a dog kennel with a capacity of 65 dogs, did that for about 4 years. I decided to branch out and start working for myself. I have pet sat for some years now during that, I have cared for live stock, birds, turtles, fish. I currently work weekends, between 8am-2pm. Unfortunately animals don’t talk so I got a part time job to get out of the house and socialize. I have a fenced in year, plenty of toys, a couple crates, definitely lots of bowls. Some dog beds, along with some blankets. Anything your animal may want I try to have. Of course bring anything that you think would help your doggie adjust.
