“Elizabeth was a great cat and house sitter in her week-long overnight stay. I'll definitely have her back again in the future. She took great care of the cats, was a terrific communicator, and left my place as clean as when she arrived. So happy I found her!”

“Emily was amazing! We had a meet and great before my trip and I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with her. She left my house in exactly the same condition as when I left. Gave me multiple daily updates on my girls and gave them plenty of love ❤️ I’ll definitely be asking her to dog sit in the future!”

About: I will walk your doggy all summer long! I am reliable and trustworthy! I will always take good care of your babies, keep them happy and hydrated :) Available in the mornings all summer, in the afternoons until the end of the school year. Available on weekends as needed. Drop ins or walks. I have a dog and two cats. I prefer not to do dog sitting in my home because the cats don’t care for dogs.

“Brenda was the perfect dog sitter for our 9-month old Havanese. She showed him lots of loving attention including letting him sleep in bed with her as he was used to sleeping with us. Brenda sent pictures and text updates to us throughout the week so that we knew Watson was doing well. On the day of our return home, Brenda gave Watson a bath. She also took great care of our house, watered the house plants, brought in our mail, and washed the sheets and towels that she had used during the week. I would definitely recommend Brenda!”

“Amanda was great! My babies absolutely loved her and I could tell they had so much fun from all the pictures she sent while we were gone. I have never left my dogs for more than a couple days but she”

“First time using Rover and we had the good luck of choosing Heather. She was AMAZING with our elderly blind & deaf pug, so patient, kind and loving. She stayed at our house including overnight for 2 1/2 days, our first vacation in 6 months. We would not hesitate to have her take care of our girl again- great job Heather!”

I am a teacher but will be off for the summer starting June 2nd. I am available all day ; I have a 6 year old and 10 year old son that may be with sometime. They both love animals dearly; my 10 year old has a deep connection with all animals I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run. I have 2 medium sized very friendly dogs, 2 indoor/outdoor cats, and a pig that is outside. My dogs sleep either in my bed or on their beds in my home. They loved to hang outside when it is nice out. They love to just chill on our porch. They are fed twice daily . I am a special education teacher so currently have open availability. Once I go back to work mid August I will have early morning and late afternoon/evening on week days and weekends. My dogs, cats and pig are all fed twice daily. My animals love exploring in our yard, chasing squirrels and lounging on the porch. They also LOVE to come in ajd snuggle in the bed with us. When I have clients dogs in my home I treat them as I would my own dogs. Lots of love , pets, and play time. When I do in home visits I make sure the animal gets as much attention as possible during my visits so that they don’t miss their family.

About: I’ve been animal-obsessed for as long as I can remember 🐾💕 I’ve worked with animals most of my life and currently work at a veterinary clinic in Brevard, so I have tons of hands-on experience with all kinds of pet needs. I’ve been pet sitting for 7 years, starting out helping friends and family, and I’ve been so lucky to have it grow through word of mouth into something I truly love doing! Caring for animals truly makes me so happy, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—spoiled, loved, and well cared for! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to check on your babies! I can do early AM, lunch and PM visits! I also live within 5 minutes of Downtown Hendersonville so I’m easy and convenient! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take great care to create a calm, secure environment and follow your instructions closely. I also love keeping you connected while you’re away—expect regular photo updates and I’m always happy to do FaceTime check-ins so you can see your pet happy and safe in real time!
“Michael took great care of our dog and cat for several days. He was very prompt with responding to messages. He also left our place neat and tidy. I would ask for him to sit again.”

“Susan did an amazing job taking care of my fur baby! She was attentive, reliable, and kept me updated with great communication throughout. I came home to a happy girl and an immaculate house. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter and I definitely plan on using her again.”

“Laina was an excellent caretaker for Cooper. Cooper has lots of anxiety and needs lots of patience which Laina was able to provide. She had great communication the whole time and made me feel comfortable Cooper was cared for. As difficult as Cooper can be to handle she was able to do it. I would happily recommend Laina to anyone who wants their dog cared for properly for their specific needs. She even got Cooper to feel comfortable enough to lick her hand which is not like him with new people. Great communication, great care, ten out of ten experience, by far the best I could’ve hired. Thank you so much Laina!”

“Mallory was great with my pit mix this weekend - I especially appreciate how patient she was with my dog during a weekend of storms, which my dog hates! Many thanks to Mallory!”

About: I’ve been petsitting on and off for the last 8 years for dogs of all ages and sizes. Most recently I volunteered at a humane society where I worked with all types of dogs. Here, I socialized the animals, bathed them, and walked them. I love making pets feel special as best I can! I work Monday-Friday from 8-4:30. I would be able to come over before and/or after, and show them lots of love, especially in the afternoon/evening! My weekends are normally relaxed so I can be available when you need! I care for pets in a clients home by fitting myself into the animals' environment. I do my best to keep everything the same so the pet(s) will feel like nothing changed! I bring lots of love, fun, and belly rubs with me!
“Ginger is by far the best pet sitter we have ever had! From the moment we met her, we knew that our furry kids would be very well cared for. Both of our dogs really love her. For the very first time, we can go out of town and not worry a bit about our pets. What a relief! Ginger kept in close contact with us and sent pictures frequently. She stayed in our home and left it in immaculate condition. I highly recommend giving Ginger a try. You'll be very glad you did!!”

“Itzia did a great job of taking care of our two crazy pups. She sent videos and pictures daily to keep us updated on how they were doing. Unfortunately, we experienced a power outage during Itzia’s stay and she made sure that they were doing well in spite of this. I would certainly recommend Itzia to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Chloe did an exceptional job watching our Dane. He was dealing with an injury and needed extra attention, a cone and medication and Chloe met all of his needs. This was our first time using Rover and being able to travel with peace of mind that our boy was at home made our trip so much more enjoyable. We came home to a very happy boy and a clean house. We will for sure be using Chloe on future trips and recommend her to any of our friends that have pets.”

Barker Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Wow! Kayla was responsive, clear, thoughtful, considerate, adaptable, smart, practical, great listener and had great energy. We didn't have a good experience with our first sitter from Rover and we're reluctant to try it again. Kayla not only renewed our faith in Rover but in humanity as a whole. I just can't say enough great things about Kayla. And what a great sense of humor.

Leo is a fantastic dogsitter. He is a warm and grounded person who clearly loves dogs! We left for an extended vacation of over two weeks and needed an exceptional caregiver. We felt lucky to find Leo. He clearly connected with our 6 month old Kangal who is a wonderful dog - full of energy and very independent minded who needs someone loving and caring like Leo. Leo is attentive to detail, very responsive and professional in all his interactions. He left the house immaculate. We look forward to working with him again!!
