About: Growing up with cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog person. I have rescued two dogs, both of which like to shadow us. I work from home next to an open doggy door all day. Our guests have access to a large fenced in yard, the opportunity to have some quiet time if they need it, and endless toys and bones to play with. Kyle and I are available often; the only restrictions we have include traveling that we do a handful of times throughout the year. When we aren’t traveling or working, Kyle likes to fish and I am focused on my art which takes place in my home. We have very few restrictions in our house when it comes to the dogs. (I think our only restriction is to table food, they don’t get any.) They have free rein of our large, fenced in back yard. If a dog needs their space, they go to another floor. I have a door that separates upstairs and down with comfortable areas in both locations for them to be alone with toys, bones, dog beds, and human furniture with full and easy access to all. If I am downstairs (in my studio) they will be with me. From my studio, they have direct access to the backyard via doggy door which is almost always open.

About: We have almost always had pets! I have been pet sitting for friends, clients and family, as needed for the last 8 years! I am familiar with dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, birds and fish. I shave and bathe my own cats, if that doesn't display how much they trust me, I don't know what does. I love all animals and think they all deserve to be treated with love and respect. I enjoy hiking and walking so if that is something your pets like, I would love to take them to do that, on leash of course. I have a full-time job. So,I am looking to pick up extra pet jobs when you go out of town or need an extra hand! Afternoons after work, mornings on the weekends also available. I do not allow other pets in my home as I have two cats that are scared if others, including people. Usually when pet sitting, I do so in the clients home. I'd love to walk, hike and/or run your dogs to keep them happy.I've cared for puppies and senior dogs and am comfortable with both. Pet care is easy for me since I don't have a regular work schedule. I retired as a Navy contractor and competitive triathlete. I can walk them, let them out and feed them early morning and late evening. Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust.
