About: I have taken care of many different breeds of dogs, both large and small. When I was previously a nanny, people have relied on me to take care of both their animals and their children. In regard to taking care of the animals, I have boarded them, taken them for walks, taken them to the vet, given them medicine, fed them, played with them outside, and took them to the dog parks to interact with other dogs. I work for Greenville County and I am about to be off all summer. This will give me the availability to walk your dogs, board your dogs, and or let your dogs out to potty and feed them every day. My daughter and I are very active and we love to be outside so we can keep your dogs very active and spend time playing with them. I have a very large back yard that would give your dog(s) plenty of space to run around and play. I also have the ability to crate your dog, if necessary. Since my schedule is pretty open, I have the ability to take your dogs out for potty breaks and or feed them when they need it. Also, since my daughter and I are very active we can take your dog(s) on walks that meet their needs.
âMegan was great. I had a good experience. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone. She sent me pictures of him. I was late in picking up my puppy and she was ok with it. I would definitely recommend and leave my puppy with her in the future.â

âTara was great. She was waiting for Pickles at drop off and walked her several times. Frequent updates during the day were greatly appreciated. Waiting at pickup time made going home transition easy. Highly recommend Tara. She anticipates what owners want and delivers. An awesome sitter.â

âWe were initially apprehensive about leaving our anxious pup at doggie daycare, but upon meeting Jaren, our worries melted away. Their fenced-in, lush green yard, complete with a variety of dog toys, immediately reassured us. We were warmly greeted by their adorable mini Aussie Shepherd, Bowie, who quickly became fast friends with our dog, Dale. Meeting Ann and their other two friendly doggies only reinforced the welcoming atmosphere. The easygoing nature of the household made drop-offs and pick-ups effortless. Dale returned home pleasantly tired from a day of play, without feeling overwhelmed.â

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a young child. The only time I didn't have a dog in my care was when I was in college living in dorm rooms, and even then I went to the local shelter to walk and love on puppies while mine were back home. I have experience training dogs and caring for puppies. I love all dogs, big, small and everything in-between! I am a stay at home Mom right now with young children. My schedule is pretty open except when I'm running around to pick a youngin' up a few times a day! I'd love to fill my extra time with helping care for your fur babies! I currently have three dogs of my own and all are big dogs. We have a nice, safe, fenced in backyard great for running around. I am willing to help your fur baby however you see best to make them and you most comfortable.

About: This is mine (Katy Snipes) and my husbands (Chad) account. We have had dogs and cats our whole life. We are comfortable with basic training and commands and love the old timers who need a little more TLC. We canât wait to meet your fur babies. I (Katy) am currently a stay at home mom with my sweet first born son. I am very flexible during the week and would love to get on some walks with your pets. My husband offers available hands week day evenings as well as weekends. We have a fenced in back yard that our beagle loves to run around and play in. He is a spitfire when the energy is high, but can also lounge around the house when he knows itâs time to chill. We have a crate available if that is needed. However, our house is very pet friendly and open for your pet to make themselves at home.
âMegan was awesome! She clearly loves her own pets. I appreciated that she let our dog inside the house and on the bed with her for snuggles. We got lots of photo updates. Her yard is large and fenced in as well.â

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Landrum
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 509 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Landrum. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Landrum commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
