“Sarah is such a good walker for my nervous little pup!”

“Lillian is a champ. Lady (our spoiled English Setter) was being moody and not herself. Lillian did what she could. We had forgotten about a community race in our neighborhood with the streets blocked off. She managed to navigate around the race to take care of Lady. We deeply appreciate her efforts and would rebook Lillian.”

“I fractured my foot so my walks were needed very last minute and Zana could not have been more accommodating. I was very comfortable with her and so was my dog. Definitely recommend her!!”

About: I limit the number of pets so they get personalized love and attention. From shy senior cats to high-energy puppies, I have had and worked with all ages and needs. I provide frequent updates catered to the owner’s request. I like to build trust through consistence and long-term relationships so your pet sees a familiar face and is happy. I am retiring from teaching and will have a part time work-from-home job and will have plenty of time for love and cuddles with your pets. I walk several times a day so your dog (or walking cat), gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced in covered patio so they get plenty of fresh air! Again, I walk several times a day, have a park at the end of my road, I have a fenced in patio and there is a dog park within walking distance of my home. If they ride well in a car, I will take them to a big park for walks and dog park socialization. I have had dogs since I was born and cats all of my adult life. I have watched many animals for friends, families, neighbors, etc. I have had rabbits, turtles, fish, iguanas as well. I have a special place in my heart for animals.

“Allison was so responsive and great, and able to accommodate a last-minute request! My dog Honey had an amazing walk, looking forward to booking again 🥰”

“Daniel was awesome. My Great Dane is not well socialized but took to him right away. He has a very soothing and calm disposition. I would highly recommend.”

“Emily is the best! Easy to communicate with and flexible with schedule changes. Our dog is excited to see her . We are thankful we found Emily on Rover!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets ever since I was a child. I’ve raised several dogs from puppyhood and cared for them into their advanced years. I have provided house sitting, boarding and dog walking to friends and neighbors at various times my whole life. I am a single, working mama and musician. My son and I have 1 large goldendoodle dog named Shadow. We have a home with a gated kitchen, fenced in back yard and lots of love to offer your pet while you’re away! I work outside the home 5 days/week, but my studio is very close by and I have the freedom to come home often. I am able to board your pet anytime, and give regular walks and outdoor time. I have a fenced in back yard and give regular walks as well. My goldendoodle, Shadow, will be around all the time to keep your pet company!

“Sarah has been wonderful. Super reliable and responds quickly. She's been able to help out with last minute requests from us, and she really loves our puppy. She sends adorable pictures with each walk and gives us an update on how he's doing. I'm so glad I found her!”

About: I’ve been dog-sitting on and off for a few years now. This mostly included either visiting a house or having the dogs stay overnight! And now I have my own pet (chocolate lab) so taking care of pets is even more fun I’m currently unemployed so my schedule is very much free and open. Which is also great since I can do long term watches if need be I am constantly involved with the pets always and love to play with them. And always double check on specific feeding schedule or bathroom schedule. I also make sure to keep the clients house clean and tidy incase they are gone for a longer period of time.

“So far I’ve been pleased with Kristie. My pup took a liking to her immediately. Kristie is tough. Even if it’s cold or nasty weather, she will push through and make sure the dog gets his exercise. I hope she can become my regular dog walker for many more years”

“Elise has been very responsive and reliable. She arranged to come meet myself and my dog before his first scheduled walk. She gave me information about the walk, and provided a photo. We will absolutely continue to rely on Elise! She is super flexible as my schedule fluctuates often with my dog walking needs as well.”

About: I’ve been passionate about training and caring for dogs since I was five years old, learning the basics from my dad back in South Africa. And before moving to Pittsburgh a few months ago, I worked closely under a professional dog trainer, which helped me deepen my understanding of dog behavior and training techniques. I’ve also gained valuable hands-on experience working at Nemacolin (Pet Boarding) Wooflands, caring for both dogs and cats with the utmost attention and compassion. I’m skilled at communicating with dogs of all personalities and have always had multiple dogs and cats in my home, giving me hands on experience with pets of different breeds and temperaments. I bring patience, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility to every pet I care for, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well-loved. My schedule is thoughtfully managed to ensure I can offer focused, compassionate care for your pet. I’m dedicated to being reliable and attentive, providing a nurturing environment where your pet can thrive. When caring for pets in their own homes, I focus on preserving the little things that make their routine special. Whether it’s their favorite walk route, playtime style, or quiet moments they enjoy. I tailor my care to fit each pet’s personality and needs, providing everything from feeding to companionship with thoughtful attention. I also respect your home fully, and follow your instructions carefully, so your pet feels genuinely safe, comfortable.

About: I am 26 years old & have had a variety of pets throughout my life including dogs, cats, snakes, various reptiles, birds and fish. Having multiples of each type of pet in a variety of sizes & breeds, all with different care needs has given me a lifetime of experience of loving & caring for any animal that I come across! I currently have the leisure of choosing my own work schedule. My partner works from home and is able to take care of our pups while I give all of my attention to your pups! (unless your pup is up for a play date) I have a yard that is up off of street level, it is not fenced in but it is not easy to get to the street. Although your pet will always be on a leash with me unless specified otherwise. My pets are GREAT with other animals and may steal my spot as your dog’s new bff. I can always keep them seperated, or come to your home. I will always do whatever makes you most comfortable and will help to gain a level of trust between us, so you can feel comfortable leaving the kids with me! 🐶

About: Hi there! I am a stay-at-home mom who traded in a full time career as a psychiatric counselor for the quiet life taking care of my son and our adorable pups. I am currently attending graduate school online, and I have the luxury of always being home! I absolutely LOVE dogs, and it would be my joy to be able to spoil and love yours as well! We have a fenced in area of our yard to ensure the safety of your pup! I have always had dogs, growing up they were always part of my family. We now have three amazing dogs that we adore and love having as part of our little family. I am home all day, with the exception of an hour long errand a few times a week, so I am able to accommodate dogs of all needs! All rooms and surfaces in my house are dog friendly, and your dogs are welcome to play, lay, and snuggle anywhere they please. We have a crate if your dog should need some private space, but all of our dogs sleep in our bed so your dogs are welcome to as well! I have experience feeding, bathing, walking, training- all parts of being a loving dog mom! We recently moved back to Pittsburgh from Richmond Virginia and we live in a house with a beautiful corner lot & a fenced in dog area. I am home full time and would love to help take care of (and spoil) your pets while you’re away. I am flexible with scheduling and I would love to be able to help take care of your pets! I have three very friendly female dogs at home, who are cuddly and spoiled! We have an eight-year-old Havanese named Nala, a four-year-old Dalmation named Pepper, and a new little three-month-old miniature Dachshund named Hoagie. As previously stated, our entire house is dog friendly and I am committed to making sure your dog feels safe and secure. We fenced in a portion of our backyard so your dogs can safely relieve themselves. We have a long lead in the backyard if your dog requires staying on a leash in the yard. We have a large yard with lots of room to run, and we love going for long walks in local parks!

About: I worked as a dog handler in Pennsylvania for three years and trained my own dog, Millie, for therapy dog work. I also worked with a cat TNR organization in PA for just under a year. I am currently on summer break from university, so I am free every day of the week except for Mondays and Wednesdays. I am taking a summer class to supplement my course load at the local community college during those days. I cannot bring animals to my home, so I could only come to the client’s home. I would love to hang out with your fur babies still!

“Rachel was amazing with our pups. She went above and beyond to make sure they were OK while we were traveling. She was very communicative and trustworthy!”

About: I've spent over twenty years caring for dogs and cats of all temperaments — from energetic pups to quirky seniors. My own adopted fur family has taught me patience, communication, and how to meet each pet where they are. Whether it’s a walk, a brush, or a belly rub, I focus on keeping pets active, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I treat every animal like they’re my own — because that’s what they deserve. Got an odd schedule? I’ve got you! Life gets messy — last-minute trips, half-day errands, or just a few hours away. That’s where I come in. My availability shifts week to week, but that makes me the perfect fit for one-off needs, unusual timeframes, or gaps others can’t cover. If our calendars line up, I’ll gladly stop by for a walk, visit, or check-in. Flexible, caring, and here when you need me most. I keep pets active, safe, and engaged. If there’s a fenced yard and the weather’s right, we’ll enjoy time outside. I’m also happy to take pets to local parks or trails (with your permission, of course). Toys, leashes, and other gear should be provided, but I’m open to arrangements if you need support with supplies. My goal is always to respect your pet’s routine while keeping them happy and secure in familiar or safe surroundings.

Cindy M.
“Cindy walks my puppy several times a week and she is fantastic! She is always so kind and gentle with her, and is helping her learn how to walk like the goodest girl. I have a couple rules - like using a gentle leader and staying away from the busy four lane road near us - and Cindy has always been respectful of them, which gives me so much peace of mind while they are out. I know I can trust Cindy to give her a safe, fun, and (hopefully!) tiring time. And judging by how happy my puppy always is to see her, I know she agrees!”

Emma F.
“Emma F is my next door neighbor. From the time I had my special needs terrier, Ozzie, when she was just a teen, she would help take him for walks and give exceptional care and love when she and her family would pet sit Ozzie when I traveled. Ozzie was very particular about people and really loved Emma. Now she's an adult and has loveable chocolate lab, Charlie, who she walks and takes great care of. Emma is a very attentive pet sitter for other people's dogs who often stay at her house. She carefully manages interactions between Charlie and some of these 'visiting' dogs that require closer supervision so everyone stays happy and healthy. Emma is a smart, capable, incredibly resourceful human being that any pet owner would absolutely love walking or caring for their furry family member whenever they need her services.”

Alexis O.Star Sitter
“When Alexis walks in the door of a family gathering, she’s greeted by all the furbabies before any of the humans can get to her. She has 2 small breed dogs of her own that she cares for, but she is very friendly and loving to my 2 large, energetic, jumpy dogs whenever I am unable to have my supervision over them. I would trust her to watch them any time and they love going on walks with her!”

Maria D.Star Sitter
“Maria has been walking our dogs for over a year, and she is just wonderful!!!! She's punctual, accommodating and responsible. My dogs always come home exhausted and happy. Maria is high recommended!!!!”

Maxen T.
“I highly recommend Max as a pet sitter or caregiver. He has a calm, caring way with all animals. He has trained and cared for his own pets, and worked with my golden retriever pup very successfully too. He has experience working at a pet boarding/day care center, and volunteering with rescue animals as well. He’s a great choice for taking care of your pets!”
