About: My long history of taking care of dogs started with my wonderful and energetic Airedale terrier in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. Alannah did a wonderful job taking care of my 4 month old Bernese Mountain dog puppy Theo. I was nervous to leave him for the first time, but Alannah calmed my anxiety with regular updates and photos. She stayed at my place and when I returned, it was as very clean and tidy when I returned. Theo seemed very happy with Alannah and was not overly excited to see me when I returned so I take it he had a good time:) I would recommend Alannah and will use her service again in the future.
Our first time using the Rover app, and of course we were cautious of having someone in the house, let alone leaving our fur babies with a stranger, but Erin was fabulous throughout the whole process! Gave lots of updates and pictures throughout and kept us informed on how everyone was doing. We’ll be sure to try and book with her again in the future!

Ava is wonderful! Our nervous doggie seems to warm up to her with ease. Ava has taken care of Neila a few times now, and I can't say enough great things about her. She is communicative, sweet, responsible, and always goes the extra mile. When she stays with Neila, she is also very helpful in washing the sheets and towels and making the bed, so we don't have to do it when we get home. I never worry when Ava is here. Casey was so good with our dog Kylo. Kylo is a "special needs" dog; Casey understood this and took the right approach working with Kylo. He stayed at our place for 10 days taking care of Kylo; he took him on his regular walks, played ball with him and also started watching daily movies with him :) Casey kept the house very clean!! We are so happy to have come across Casey as is our baby Kylo. We will always use Casey in the future as and when required and of course based on his availability. There is NOTHING like knowing that your family member is being taken care of, such that you have one huge worry of your head when traveling.
I'm so grateful to have found Chris as a sitter for my dog Kinako. Chris showed incredible patience and really took the time to engage with him. It was clear Chris genuinely enjoyed spending time with Kinako - not just going through the motions, but actually playing and making sure he was comfortable and happy. What impressed me most was how patient Chris was with Kinako's personality and needs. Chris didn't rush the sitting session but instead focused on building a connection with him. Kinako seemed relaxed and content when I returned, which tells me everything I need to know about the quality of care he received. We were lucky to get Michelle when we had to be out of town but our cat was in a cone and recovering with stitches. I felt much better being away knowing my pet was with a trained vet tech - whew! Michelle kept me posted on details I needed, and my cat, who is normally elusive to strangers, warmed up to her quite well. I came home and found everything as it should be. Will use her again!
Sarina house / dog sat for us and was fantastic with our dog Roti!! She’s very detail oriented, considerate, and experienced with animals.
