“Kyra was amazing with our two dogs. Drop off and pick up were super easy. She had a beautiful back yard for them to play in along with a lovely home for them to cool off and be lazy in. I received updates on their stay along with acute photo. I'm already rebooking with her again!”

“I had an amazing experience with Destiny as our dog babysitter! She was super caring, attentive, and really understood my dog's needs. My pup came back happy and relaxed, and I felt totally confident leaving them in her care. Highly recommend Destiny if you want someone trustworthy and loving for your furry friend!”

“Monse took great care of my puppy! I loved all of the photo updates that I received! My puppy looked so happy in all of them! Thank you for taking care Remi, It was less stressful being away knowing she was in good hands!”

“I needed a sitter for my two pups asap. Ayanna responded immediately and was able to help. This was a significant relief and the boys loved her. She knows how to handle dogs extremely well. Definitely will use her again.”

“Rachunda took excellent care of my baby. When I got there to pick her up her tail was just a wagging and that lets me know Minkah was comfortable with her surroundings. She was also playful with the other dogs. 10/10 would recommend her to friends and family. I will also use her again for my pet sitter.”

“Great experience! She sent several pictures and updates. When we picked up Tinkerbell she was so happy. We’ve used Rover a lot and can tell she was well taken care of! We’ll definitely use her again!!”

“We are so happy to have found Hang, her family and Charlie?. Leopold felt at home, they loved on him! She sent me videos and pictures daily. That’s where we’ll leave our boy? anytime we need to get away. Beautiful and spacious backyard. 100% recommend her. ?”

“Brittny was great! She sent a picture and update every day, and was attentive to how little water my pup was drinking. She had a lot of dog toys for my pup as well. She was flexible with pickup and dropoff. Highly recommend.”

“Josh is great! Sends daily updates with lots of pictures. I never had to worry about Nilla & Coosa while gone to Utah this past week. Especially not having cell service during the day. I knew my girls were being well taken care of. Josh is my go-to sitter when I need to leave my girls for overnight stays!”

“I cannot say enough great things about Ms. Jessamy! She was pleasant, professional, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. My dog clearly had an amazing time. I received plenty of photos and videos throughout his stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. I also received daily summaries and that truly set her apart. Her communication, care, and attention to detail were exceptional. I felt confident the entire time that my dog was in great hands. I will absolutely be rebooking with her and only her! I highly recommend Ms. Jessamy to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality care. Thank you again!”

“Our dog, Georgia, loves Jennifer and her family! This was her second stay with them and I’m sure it won’t be her last. We just moved to the area a few months ago and needed a reliable and kind sitter. Our dog is an English bulldog and our world so only the best of the best will work. Jennifer sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay. She took Georgia to the dog park, bought her a new toy, gave Georgia a bath and even washed our dog’s bed and Blanket too! Jennifer is the best of the best! We will definitely be repeat clients! Thanks again”

About: I have been around animals and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your fur baby. When I come to take care of, play with, or walk your fur baby I will dedicate my time to loving them. When staying with me I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I like to build trust, communicate and personalize your fur babies stay so you both feel at ease. I am currently home full time and I am available for drop ins when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I will take your fur baby on a walk to use the restroom since I don’t have a gated yard but if that’s a worry, I also have access to a few gated dog parks for your fur baby to run around and use the restroom.
“Katrina is phenomenal, and we definitely would trust her to take care of our furbabies. Without asking, she sends not just one, but a lot of good pictures with updates on how our Eleos and Asya were doing. Our babies looked happy and never sad. When we picked them up, and when we arrived home, they are beyond satisfied and presented with much better behaviors. Katrina’s furbaby Pogo is well trained and well behaved and our babies probably was trained by example from just observing Pogo. We thank her for everything, for being kind to us and to our babies, and for being a good person! Katrina is highly recommended.”

“Het and Mukshutaben were wonderful with Sneakers. They communicated throughout his weekend stay and accepted to look after him on a short notice. Sneakers felt at ease and with comfort. I'll have to keep in them in mind for future stays. Thank you for treating Sneakers like your own.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
