“Remarkable person and caregiver. The dude immediately gravitated toward Maricella and indicated a sense of security and welcoming. Maricella was punctual, kind, knowledgeable and worked around my schedule to provide assistance in a pinch. Highly recommend!”

“Monica is absolutely amazing! Will definitely book her again, she is very detailed and dedicated, I would definitely recommend her, she took pictures of my Meelo and followed my instructions! Thank you Monica”

“Lilianais is an absolute dream sitter. I cannot recommend her enough. As nervous dog parents, she was incredible. Our two Shih Tzu puppies and our Corgi mix loved her. Our home and our babies were so well taken care of and our experience with Lilanais was fantastic.”

“David is an exceptional pet sitter! One of our little dogs suffers from anxiety and is on medication. We've never left her before and were very nervous about going away for a few days. We needn't have been! All the dogs loved him, and it is obvious that he loves dogs. He is sincere, conscientious and communicative, and we will definitely be using him again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Megan was amazing at taking care of Ellie and making sure she got plenty of playtime in. Ellie is only 5 months so she requires a bit more attention and play which I can tell she got plenty of. Megan sent me updates, photos, and videos and was very easy to reach. I will be booking with Megan if she’s available in the future.”

“Olivia was a great in home sitter for our 3 babies! She checked in often with pictures, and we came home to a clean home filled with happy, exercised pups! I would highly recommend Olivia and will be rebooking with her in the future. 💛”

“Jaylee was so great! This was my first time leaving my two pups and she made it so much less stressful! Jaylee cared for my pups like they were her own. She sent pictures and checked in with me multiple times a day. She really out my mind at ease!!”

“Mica spent the day with my pup while I had to be outta town for work. He's a rescue with high separation anxiety and her presence while I was absent kept him calm and happy. She sent pictures through out the day and was respectful of my home.”

About: Reliable, active, and caring dog sitter who treats every pup like family. I provide personalized attention, plenty of playtime, and a safe, loving environment so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a teacher and volleyball coach, caring for others is already a big part of my daily routine. My schedule is built around responsibility, consistency, and staying active, which makes pet care a natural fit. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, feeding, or evening check-ins, I make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I follow your pet’s normal routine; such as feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles; while keeping your home tidy, secure, and filled with comfort in your absence
“Whitney was so amazing! I am a very type A dog mom who hates to leave her dogs at any cost and she was so wonderful - she followed every instruction I gave and kept me posted on how my babies were doing while I was gone. She kept the house in perfect condition as well! Every single time I leave my dogs I am worried sick about them the whole time and this is the first time I’ve ever not worried about them! I would 10/10 recommend hiring her to care for your dogs if you are looking for the best pet sitter!!”

“Kristen went above and beyond when she sat for my 2 pups for 9 days. She sent pictures daily and bonded well with them. My home was clean and tidy when we arrived home. Can't say enough good words about Kristen. We will certainly call on her again to care for our "babies"!!”

Whether it's adjusting feeding schedules for each furry friend, managing different routines, addressing health concerns, or dealing with hyperactivity, you can rest assured that I've got it all covered with care and enthusiasm. I am a student with mainly online courses, which means I can be with your furry friend for the majority of the day and week I currently work part-time evening shifts that last about 5-6 hours, usually from 5pm to 10pm, Friday through Sunday, with occasional weekday shifts. So I’m more than happy to take care of your furry friend during the day and keep them company overnight! About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, mostly my own and some family friends’ when they go on vacation. I’ve mostly dealt with smaller dogs but I have no problem with larger dogs. I currently own two dogs and one is a senior dog so he requires a little more attention. I can do basic care such as feeding and going for walks but I can also bathe if necessary. I currently work part-time and am in school for my bachelor’s degree. I’m taking a few summer courses but they are online so they don’t require too much of my time. My work schedule is relatively flexible as long as I have some time to work things out. I’ve done feeding and walks, whether it be for the restroom or just to get some exercise in. I live in a house with a large fenced backyard so my dogs are able to freely roam so they don’t like to go on walks much but we do take them out from time to time. I also play outside with them on a daily basis since they enjoy that. I usually bathe and groom my own dogs as well as some other dogs people have asked me to do.
“Malayalam was great with our dogs. She was even able to provide one of our dogs with her twice daily injections with no issues. Definitely recommend and definitely will book again in the future.”

About: I'm a kind, active sitter who loves giving dogs a comfortable, home-like stay. As a runner, I can keep high-energy pups exercised and happy, while also providing a calm environment for more relaxed dogs. I have two extraordinary dogs—Kash money, my 4-year-old corgi, and Kiba, my 9-year-old Australian cattle dog—they helped me find my love for animals. I intend to make sure every dog feels cared for, comfortable, and right at home. My routine is built around my dogs, so pet care comes naturally. From morning walks to daily runs and evening wind-down time, I make sure every dog gets the right balance of exercise, attention, and rest. I provide a safe, structured, and loving environment in my home, with regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I adjust care based on each dog’s energy level and needs. In clients’ homes, I follow all instructions carefully to keep pets comfortable and routines consistent.
“I cannot express my gratitude enough for how amazing Alex is. My husband and I had to leave for a family emergency for much longer time then I could ever want. We weren’t able to find a rental house that allowed all of our dogs for the 3 weeks we needed to be gone. Alex stepped in and was beyond a dog-sitter to them. We have never been away from our babies for longer than 1 or 2 nights and were very nervous leaving them. Alex understood our fears, the first few days he sent pictures and updates 3 times a day. Once we realized they were in good hands he sent much more then the 1 time a day picture. He Really kept our minds at ease when we needed it most. I cannot recommend Alex enough. He followed their needs and instructions exactly as noted. We will definitely use him again for any dog sitting needs we have. Our dogs all love him and the attention he gave them. In fact, they really did not care when I came home to relieve him! If you want a dog walker or sitter, Alex is your man!”

“Thomas was a great sitter for our dogs. His communication with daily pictures kept me at ease knowing that they were being cared for. Highly recommend and will be using Thomas again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. As a kid, I had pet rabbits, which required special care and maintenance. Due to this, I am used to working with unconventional pets and caring for them. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs that require daily doses of medicine. I am a student who mainly takes online courses, which means I can be with your furry friend for the majority of the day and week. This also means on weekends I can prioritize your pets and their care. I set many alarms and reminders to ensure that feeding times stay consistent. As well as I am comfortable crating dogs and other animals. I also always leave time to give any affectionate pets the love and attention they deserve.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Belton
Jessica is the absolute best! The first time she watched our dogs there were several hiccups that Jessica handed with care and understanding! Maci loved fetching and running around the backyard with her. While her bbrother, Goro, was spoiled with all the pets and cuddles. Jessica provided us with peace of mind while being out of town knowing our doggos were in GREAT hands

Leslie was amazing! She took care of our 4 furkids (3 yorkies and 1 yorkie/maltese/pekingnese mix) for over a week in our home. They had a great time with Leslie and were well-cared for! She sent updates and photos which was very much appreciated as 3 of our 4 are seniors. Leslie was very responsive to messages. We are very grateful to her for taking care of our furkids, our plants, and our home. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to pamper any pets!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Belton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Belton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Belton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
