“Maricella is honestly the only person I feel at ease with to take care of my babies. They LOVE her and I truly feel that animals are the best judges of character. Maricella always goes above and beyond and I will hopefully have her sit for us over and over and over!! I cannot recommend her enough!!”

“We are VERY happy with Adaline’s care of our two cats. Her communication and information about the drop-in visits were thorough. She was on-time and sent us a few photos from each check-in. I am comfortable recommending her care and will book her services again in the future if needed.”

“Brooke was amazing with our 13 year old cat. From the videos and pictures we could tell that Kitty loved their visits together. It was such a relief having her there so we could be at peace on our trip , we even booked extra time. Loved having all the updates letting us know how Kitty was doing. Thank you Brooke!”

“Isabella is an AWESOME sitter!! She took great care of our cat, gave specific and detailed updates every day, sent lots of photos of him clearly enjoying his time with her, and really went above and beyond with things like sweeping up his litter mess. She really gave us so much peace of mind while being away and I’ll be booking her for our upcoming trips! Thank you so much girl!!”

“Ondrea was amazing in looking after my littles. They loved seeing her. She is prompt and very attentive to the fur babies. I highly recommend her and will be a repeat customer!”

“My dog has high anxiety and scared of people when she first meets her. Monica took her time to get to know my dog and more importantly was patient enough to let my dog get to know and trust her. Im so glad that I have met Monica and will be using her for the future!”

About: Hi! I'm a 28 y/o dog mom new to the area! I have a sweet little 10lb cavapoo who I am obsessed with and who adores other dogs! I'm home all day (Army wife life) so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets, whether it's playing with them or taking them on walks around the neighborhood. I'd love to explore the area with your pet, or just give them the snuggles they’re used to while you’re away. My dog is a rescue who I raised from puppyhood—so I don’t mind accidents, teething, training, etc. I’m vigilant about safety with dogs, especially around cars and roads, so you can rest assured knowing I won’t let anything happen to your pup. I also grew up with two very energetic dogs in my home and I know how important pets are to each family. I'm happy to get to know your pet and any quirks they might have--places to avoid, special care they require, anything at all! Little more about me: I’m from the Midwest and have my Bachelor’s from U of M! I spent the last few years in the Washington, DC area with my husband as he went through medical school & residency. We’re an Army family but still hold our Midwest roots dearly :) I work part-time remotely, so I’m home and available all day and in the evenings. I’m happy to stop by to play with your pup and take a break from work, or go on my evening hot-girl walk with your dog by my side! I will treat your pet like my own when they’re in my home! We love to play, wrestle, and snuggle on the couch! My dog has free rein so she lounges on the couch, her beds, our bed, etc. Your dog is welcome to do the same! We can assess how the dogs get along and decide how to leave them if I have to step outside—we also have baby gates where I can separate the dogs if that’s best. I do not have any children so there aren’t little toys for your dog to get into, and I’ll keep all food and shoes put away. I like to think my apartment is quiet and cozy, so I’ll be sure to provide a calm environment for your pet! I am able to go to your home and meet your pet in their familiar space. I am open to all notes and tidbits about your home, your neighborhood, etc so that your pet has the best experience with me.
About: I'm a kind, active sitter who loves giving dogs a comfortable, home-like stay. As a runner, I can keep high-energy pups exercised and happy, while also providing a calm environment for more relaxed dogs. I have two extraordinary dogs—Kash money, my 4-year-old corgi, and Kiba, my 9-year-old Australian cattle dog—they helped me find my love for animals. I intend to make sure every dog feels cared for, comfortable, and right at home. My routine is built around my dogs, so pet care comes naturally. From morning walks to daily runs and evening wind-down time, I make sure every dog gets the right balance of exercise, attention, and rest. I provide a safe, structured, and loving environment in my home, with regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I adjust care based on each dog’s energy level and needs. In clients’ homes, I follow all instructions carefully to keep pets comfortable and routines consistent.
“If you're debating between using Lilianais and someone else, go with her! She’s incredibly punctual, reliable, and always super accommodating. My schedule has been unpredictable lately, but she’s consistently gone above and beyond to help with last-minute changes and additions to the schedule. My dog absolutely adores her, and it’s clear how much she cares for the pets she looks after. Lilianais is an absolute gem—I can’t recommend her enough”

“Bernice is the absolute BEST! She loves my dogs like they are her own. I love the detailed drop in summaries and pictures she always sends. Having someone watch your dogs can be nerve wracking because you never know if they treat your dogs well. She really brings us peace of mind when we’re not home. There is no doubt that Bernice loves pets and treats them with such kindness. I will never stop recommending her for pet sitting!”

“She took very good care of my Pugs. Megan is always available to walk them and takes them on a good long walk. She makes sure they do not get over heated. I would recommend her to take care of your fur babies. 5 Stars..”

About: Hello!! My names Tatum I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, my best friend when i was born was a weenie dawg, but i’ve had 4 dogs total in my life. I currently have 3 cuddly cats and a 1yr old, big ol handsome lab! I can do day or overnight sitting in my own apartment, I know there’s no straight access to a backyard :(( but i take my dog to the apartments dog park twice a day for 30-90mins. My apartment also has a nice big field right outside my door that i take them to go potty as many times needed! I live with my fiance and we work opposite shifts so someone is always awake! I don’t have any experience with shot medications but i sure know how to hide a pill in some chicken or cheese! We have plenty of toys to play with and my lab LOVES making new friends, he always has a ton of energy to keep your furr baby busy! If your dog needs to be crated or isn’t crate trained i can accommodate that, i have big crate here or you’re welcome to bring your own. Im available for overnight boarding/day sitting on the weekends (Fri@4:00pm - Sun@11:00pm) I work full time(M-F) 2 minutes away from my apartment and can go home on breaks. And they wouldn’t mind if i needed to leave for 10 minutes for a potty break. So if you absolutely need me to watch on a weekday i can make accommodations. My fiance will be home during the day since he works an opposite shift but probably asleep. I also have a camera in the living room. We can crate if crate trained if you feel more comfortable with that! My puppy had a bad chewing habit when he was little, so we only keep the floors clean (except for toys of course) I can easily crate your dog if needed. Dogs are allowed on furniture for maximum cuddles :)
“Genevieve was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were comfortable and well cared for. She took the time to really learn their habits and carefully managed their medications, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. As newer users of Rover, we also appreciated how helpful and communicative she was throughout the entire process. It made a big difference knowing our dogs were in such capable hands. Coming home to happy, stress-free dogs without any boarding-related issues was the best outcome we could have asked for.”

“Highly recommend Makayla! She is kind, bright, and respectful. Great communication and care for our kitty while we were away for two weeks. Makayla made us feel at ease and it was evident our cat loved her :) If we weren’t moving out of state, we would rebook in a heartbeat.”

“Absolutely great with my prince Zuko! Took lots of good pictures, communication was on point, and overall seems great with Zuko and pets in general. Will definitely rebook in the future!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mallory was amazing! She went above and beyond taking care of our cat and our home while we were away. She gave us regular updates and adorable photos, so we always knew our cat was happy and in great hands. We came home to a well-cared-for kitty and a spotless house. It’s clear Mallory truly loves animals and treats them like her own. We couldn’t recommend her more highly and will absolutely will use her again”

“We recently relocated and we were a little worried about finding the right person to continue to drop in for Annie. We just started using Kristen and so far has been a great fit for us. She is reliable and cares about her customers, a great fit for us, so happy we found Kristen.”

- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
