About: Hello!! My names Tatum I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, my best friend when i was born was a weenie dawg, but i’ve had 4 dogs total in my life. I currently have 3 cuddly cats and a 1yr old, big ol handsome lab! I can do day or overnight sitting in my own apartment, I know there’s no straight access to a backyard :(( but i take my dog to the apartments dog park twice a day for 30-90mins. My apartment also has a nice big field right outside my door that i take them to go potty as many times needed! I don’t have any experience with shot medications but i sure know how to hide a pill in some cheese! We have plenty of toys to play with and my lab LOVES making new friends, he always has a ton of energy to keep your furr baby busy! If your dog needs to be crated or isn’t crate trained i can accommodate that, i have big crate here or you’re welcome to bring your own. Im available for overnight boarding/day sitting on the weekends (Fri@4:00pm - Sun@11:00pm) I work full time(M-F) 2 minutes away from my apartment and can go home on breaks. So if you absolutely need me to watch on a weekday i can make accommodations. I also have a camera in the living room to keep an eye on them. We can crate if crate trained if you feel more comfortable with that! My puppy had a bad chewing habit when he was little, so we keep the floors clean (except for toys of course) I can easily crate your dog if needed. Dogs are allowed on furniture for maximum cuddles :)

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who would be thrilled to care for your pets like they’re part of my own family. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have had cats for the past 7 years. My home is currently filled with 7 animals of my own—2 dogs and 5 cats! They’re definitely my favorite part of home life (other than my husband, of course lol). I regularly care for the pets of my family and friends, including my brother-in-law’s dog, who I watch very frequently, as well as my family’s 2 dogs and cat. I also occasionally care for a close friend’s dog. One of my longer pet-sitting experiences was caring for my cousin’s dog for 3 months while she recovered from a broken leg. We are an extremely pet-friendly household and genuinely love having animals around. When friends come over, we’re always telling them to bring their pets! My schedule is currently completely open, and as an at-home wife, I’m able to be home with your pets for the majority of the day most days. I’m happy to provide plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, walks, and cuddles so your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of animals and would love the opportunity to get to know your pets and their individual personalities and routines. I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would want for my own. Our home is a very pet-friendly and welcoming environment, and our own pets are a huge part of our everyday life. We currently have 2 dogs and 5 cats, so we’re very comfortable with animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Because I’m an at-home wife, I’m home the majority of the day and can provide frequent supervision, attention, and companionship. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions you provide. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely get outside, play, and enjoy some fresh air. We also live right next to a park and creek, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time for pets who enjoy exploring. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I want you to feel confident that they’re being cared for, loved, and treated like family while they’re with me. I also understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s personality and needs beforehand and make sure we have a plan that keeps everyone comfortable and safe. For pets who need or are more comfortable with their own separate space, we also run available to set up kennel(s). I’m happy to accommodate individual needs and make sure every pet has a safe and comfortable environment. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I want you to feel confident that they’re being cared for, supervised, loved, and treated like family while they’re with me.

About: Experienced in pet care since a very young age with three years in boarding and grooming and current veterinary clinic experience going on 2 years. Skilled in medication administration, handling nervous or challenging pets, senior and special-needs care, and providing safe, reliable, and active pet care. Pet sitting is a part-time side job alongside my full-time career at a veterinary clinic. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable, attentive care and frequent check-ins to ensure your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. A typical day with my own pets includes plenty of exercise, playtime, affection, and downtime. I make sure they get the activity they need through walks and play while also giving them plenty of attention and opportunities to relax. I treat my pets like family, and I’ll bring that same level of care, patience, and love to yours.

About: Hey there! I have been a pet lover my whole life! I've had all the animals growing up, dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs... you name it! I'm willing to help out any way possible. I am by all means no professional but I do consider myself patient and willing to learn all about your pets! I am fairly flexible being a college student. I sometimes travel home from Temple to DFW on weekends! I can be flexible with dates as long as I know at least 2 to 3 days in advance! This will be my first time opening my apartment for pups! I have a sweet pup of my own named norman who is always willing to play with new friends. My apartment complex offers a great dog park to let your fur friends get their energy out as well as a pet spa for baths if requested (small added charge)! I am so excited to have the opportunity to watch your pets and hope to create a peaceful environment for your babies.

About: Hi! My name is Harleigh, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’m currently in occupational therapy school at UMHB and have a strong passion for helping and caring for others — including pets! I’m the owner of a fixed female Belgian Malinois named Alo, so I’m very comfortable handling high-energy, intelligent dogs that need structure, patience, exercise, and attention. We take daily trips to the dog park, and I genuinely enjoy keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities for friends, neighbors, and family over the years and have experience working in boarding at a veterinarian clinic. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, playtime, medication reminders, cuddles, or just someone dependable to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Being in OT school has helped me become patient, attentive, observant, and reliable. I understand how important routines, trust, and communication are, and I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. I also love sending updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for! 🐶 I’m currently in occupational therapy school, so my schedule mainly consists of classes, studying, and spending time with my own dog. Outside of class, I have a flexible routine and dedicate a lot of my day to pet care, exercise, walks, and outdoor time. Because I already have an active daily routine with my Belgian Malinois, I’m very comfortable caring for high-energy dogs and making sure they get plenty of attention, activity, and structure throughout the day. I’m also happy to provide updates, walks, playtime, and lots of love while caring for your pet! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs, including large and high-energy breeds. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and behavior, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in my home or yours. I have my own fixed female Belgian Malinois who is friendly and well-socialized, and we have a very active routine with daily park visits and exercise. I’m comfortable using crates if needed, following special instructions, administering basic care, and adapting to what makes your pet feel most comfortable. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep communication open with regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. 🐶💛

I work from home so I can make my time available for your fur baby from twelve o'clock to six o'clock in the late afternoon I have a medium sized fenced in yard. There is two dog park near by. I have a dog to give your dog a playmate. I work part-time, so I have plenty of free time to give your pup attention throughout the day. I’m home a lot, which means extra walks, playtime, and lots of company for dogs who don’t like being alone. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays after 2pm, and I’m really flexible with scheduling if your dog needs a little extra time or care. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Katelyn was really wonderful to work with. She was calm, composed, and extremely communicative throughout the entire stay. When our dog got a little homesick and made a mess, she handled it with such grace and never made it feel like a problem. She gave us real peace of mind while we were away and was truly a joy to work with. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their furry family members, and we would gladly book with her again. Thank you again!!!

FAQs for Pet Sitting - Morgans Point Resort

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Before booking, confirm:

  • the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
  • the care instructions the sitter should follow;
  • which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
  • how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
