“This is our second time booking with Stacey, she is awesome. Our dogs love her and she takes such good care of them. She was available on short notice for us and we are thankful. Our big dog made a mess when he escaped his area and she graciously cleaned it up. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Jadyn is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is incredibly reliable and made me feel at ease from the very first moment I met her. I immediately felt comfortable that my dog was in good hands, and it was clear that he felt comfortable with her from our first encounter as well. Jadyn is kind, trustworthy, and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone dependable and great with pets. She is truly great at what she does!”
About: I have loved and cared for dogs since I was a little girl. My first dog child I adopted was when I was 17 and he was a 120lb Weimaraner. We would run 3 miles a day and visit the dog park atleast twice a week. I have boarded, drop in visits, and walked dogs all through college for various friends and family. I understand the care and love your fur baby needs when mom and dad are away, and am able to help! I currently am not accepting in my own home at the moment as we recently adopted a rescue who had a rough start and will need time and care before socializing. However, I am happy to provide walking and drop in visits. I can provide updates and pictures of your fur baby as we walk or visit as I understand how stressful it is to be away from them and needing that reassurance.
“Kayla did an awesome job caring for our pets while we were away on a long vacation! She kept me informed of everything and communicated promptly. I highly recommend her to others who need pet care !”

“It’s hard to find reliable pet sitters who show up on time and follow directions so we’re so glad we found Ashlee!! She was great and we’ll definitely book her again.”

“Genevieve has been great with my 2 dogs on her drop in visits over Thanksgiving and Christmas. My old Schnauzer can be territorial but let her in with out incident, after bribing him with some cookies. My other jumped the barrier when she came back he was so happy to see her. Great job and will look to get in the future when needed.”

Stacy will be my first choice as a drop-in sitter the next time a need arises. Thanks again!”

“Could not have asked for a better cat-sitter than Kaitlin. She kept my cat happy and fed while I was away, which was wonderful, but she also helped us out with a household emergency that occurred while we were out of town. She went above and beyond in her duties, and we cannot thank her enough. Will absolutely book with her again!”

Super fast responses and made sure to check on each cat regardless of if they came out or not. Was willing to change plans on very short notice which was a life saver. Kept me updated with pictures every visit and will definitely ask to pet sit again if I ever need!

Alexus has watched our dogs twice now and she has been amazing! One of our dogs had an injury needing a little extra care and oral medication - and she cared for them perfectly! Our minds are put at ease with her updates at each visit and pictures as well. Huge plus that she is a vet tech and as a veterinarian, this brings a great level of comfort knowing that she has the knowledge and skills to provide amazing care! Definitely recommend her! :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
