“Ms. Pam is wonderful. She takes great care of my animals and leaves the best notes about what my babies are up to. I've hired her several times and will continue to book her in the future.”

“Jessica was a great sitter. She took care of Charlie like her own and was very patient with him. Charlie usually doesn't do a walk with a person he's not used to but he went on a walk with Jessica for the first time. I would rebook her again!”

“Gabriela is awsome with Bruiser and Freya. Always on target with caring for the needs of both demanding dogs which both are a huge task to tend to. Great drop in sitter, highly recommend.”

About: “I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and currently care for dogs and cats of my own. I have experience with pets of all ages — from energetic young dogs to senior pets who require daily medication and extra patience. I’ve also helped pet sit for friends and family and have cared for small animals like rabbits. Because I manage a multi-pet household, I’m very comfortable with routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and special care needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priority.” Animals are a big part of my daily life, so caring for pets comes easily and naturally. Your pet won’t be left alone or treated like a task — they’ll be part of my normal routine and get lots of love and attention.” I offer flexible care options, including pet sitting in my home as well as caring for pets in the comfort of clients’ homes — depending on what works best for each family. Because I’m used to managing a multi-pet household, I’m organized, dependable, and attentive to each animal’s individual routine.

“We love Stacey. She is comfortable with our big dogs and always takes such good care of them. We have used her multiple times and are thankful she is available on short notice. We can’t wait to use her again!”

“It’s hard to find reliable pet sitters who show up on time and follow directions so we’re so glad we found Ashlee!! She was great and we’ll definitely book her again.”

“Stacy was not only a great drop-in sitter, taking care of Chuck while I was away, she was incredibly patient and understanding while I went through an emergency that forced me to make several scheduling changes. Stacy will be my first choice as a drop-in sitter the next time a need arises. Thanks again!”

“Carol did an amazing job taking care of our three dogs at the same time. Each dog with there own requirements. She kept everything in order and managed all the requirements correctly. Will definitely rebook”

“How are there not more stars to give?! 10/10. Extremely reliable. We had an emergency where our sitter wasn't able to come due to work complications(not their fault and they messaged asap, but couldn't make the overnight) . And at literally 9:30pm I messaged her frantic not knowing what to do and she went and stayed with our sweet boy for way more time than we could even hope for. And came back this morning to let him out and just love on him a bit. She truly cares for animals, not grossed out by smells: unfortunately, our dog had an accident in his crate. She cleaned him up, cleaned the crate and was able to replace bedding with others we had nearby. Truly caring for his health, environment and mental well being. Great communicator and absolutely will love your pet like her first born child. Cannot say enough good things about this sitter. Worth every penny!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Carmen is incredibly accommodating, even helping us out last minute without any hesitation. My schedule can be a bit unpredictable, but she is super flexible and understanding, which made everything so much less stressful. She is fantastic with sending pictures and updates- it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs are happy, safe, and well cared for! Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone reliable, communicative, and genuinely great with animals!”

“Kayla was incredibly friendly and considerate when watching my cat for a few days. She went above and beyond what I even asked for her to do and I couldn't be happier with her service!”

“Miss Ariana has been great with both of my pups. One recently had flare ups for ivdd and had needed more gentle care while my other pup is still extremely active and she was able to accommodate to both their needs. She’s great at following instructions and communicating what is needed for a Successful visit.”

“Chasity was great, I was nervous as this was my first time using Rover but Chasity made me feel better with her check-ins and great communication. My puppy got plenty of play time and attention. 🩵”

“Kayla did an awesome job caring for our pets while we were away on a long vacation! She kept me informed of everything and communicated promptly. I highly recommend her to others who need pet care !”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs since I was a little girl. My first dog child I adopted was when I was 17 and he was a 120lb Weimaraner. We would run 3 miles a day and visit the dog park atleast twice a week. I have boarded, drop in visits, and walked dogs all through college for various friends and family. I understand the care and love your fur baby needs when mom and dad are away, and am able to help! I currently am not accepting in my own home at the moment as we recently adopted a rescue who had a rough start and will need time and care before socializing. However, I am happy to provide walking and drop in visits. I can provide updates and pictures of your fur baby as we walk or visit as I understand how stressful it is to be away from them and needing that reassurance.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Harker Heights is $20

Stacey was great. She was punctual and always spent her time being meticulous. She changed litter, food and water and took time to snap pictures and was thoughtful enough to turn on/ off lights and TV to entertain the cats. I was very greatful for the care and attention she showed our purrfect pets.

Couldn't Ask for Better! Natalia was absolutely wonderful with our cats. She sent updates and photos, followed our routine to a tee, and our pets were clearly happy and well-cared-for when we got home. Professional, reliable, and clearly loves animals. We'll definitely be booking again!

Ashlee is one of the most amazing pet sitters. She went above and beyond both times watching my 3 cats. I was extremely nervous about leaving them but Ashlee made me feel so much better. She even took amazing care of by fish. She was amazing at communicating and making sure to give me kitties plenty of love. Even my shy(sometimes evil) kitty came out of hiding which is saying so much to how amazing she is.

Ashleigh is wonderful. I considered not leaving a review because if everyone knew what a tremendous sitter Ashleigh is, she wouldn’t have time to sit for me. But that wouldn’t be fair. If you hire Ashleigh as a sitter, you’ll never want anyone else to care for your pet(s).
Maya D. Is by far the best dog caretaker I have ever worked with. She truly loves helping animals and cares for mine so well. She handles medication and temperaments like a boss. When I had two male dogs that needed to be separated at all times and still be taken out and cared for she did not hesitate to help and not once was there contact or concerns. These are the best words that I have and they are still not enough! Thank you so much Maya.

Super fast responses and made sure to check on each cat regardless of if they came out or not. Was willing to change plans on very short notice which was a life saver. Kept me updated with pictures every visit and will definitely ask to pet sit again if I ever need!

Alexus has watched our dogs twice now and she has been amazing! One of our dogs had an injury needing a little extra care and oral medication - and she cared for them perfectly! Our minds are put at ease with her updates at each visit and pictures as well. Huge plus that she is a vet tech and as a veterinarian, this brings a great level of comfort knowing that she has the knowledge and skills to provide amazing care! Definitely recommend her! :)

Sofia is so sweet and a great sitter for my kitties! This is the second time that she has watched my babies and they just love her. She cares for them as if they are her own and she sends me photos and videos throughout her visit so I know they are doing good and are well cared for! 💞

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
