I have a few skittish kitties myself, so I know firsthand that trust isn’t rushed, it’s earned. I’m patient, gentle, and always let cats come to me on their own terms. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where your cat feels secure and stress free. Whether they’re outgoing or a little more reserved, I’ll meet them where they are and make sure they feel comfortable every step of the way.

I want to make sure I’m fully prepared to care for your pet, so please let me know about any special needs, medications, or allergies ahead of time. I also ask for your vet’s contact info and what you’d like me to do in case of an emergency, just so there’s a clear plan and no guesswork if anything unexpected happens.
A typical day
Each visit is all about your cat’s comfort and routine. I’ll start with the basics; fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and a quick check to make sure everything looks good. After that, it’s your cat’s world and I’m just living in it, literally! 🐈🐈⬛ Whether they want playtime, cuddles, or to pretend I don’t exist (I respect that too!), I adjust to their vibe. 😎 I’m patient with shy cats and fully prepared to spoil the social ones. Before heading out, I make sure everything is tidy and your cat is settled. You’ll also get updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing.

I currently care for six kitties of my own and have experience managing special needs, including kidney disease and asthma. I’m attentive, reliable, and understand that every cat has their own unique personality and routine. Whether your cat wants playtime, quiet company, or extra TLC, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

Ashleigh is wonderful. I considered not leaving a review because if everyone knew what a tremendous sitter Ashleigh is, she wouldn’t have time to sit for me. But that wouldn’t be fair. If you hire Ashleigh as a sitter, you’ll never want anyone else to care for your pet(s).
I could not have asked for a better experience than what we had with Ashleigh!! She went above and beyond to make sure our Ember was safe and loved while we were gone with plenty of pets, snuggles, playtime, and treats!! She was a wonderful communicator and sent plenty of hilarious photos/videos every day for my husband and I. Ashleigh is worth every penny as a pet sitter and I highly recommend her. 1000/10 thank you thank you thank you ☺️🩷🫶
