“Rose and her family have been very kind to work with our family as we planned a short sudden trip at the last moment and needed to bring our dog Chewy again. We appreciate their flexibility and the great care Chewy receives when he is with them. Thank you for your help and understanding!”

“rosalynda was absolutely amazing! Ralphy had the very best time and came back home happier than ever. She messaged me with updates which kept me at ease while I was away. I could tell he was having the very best time and I will definitely be booking again the next I’m out of town. I highly recommend her and if you choose to book with her she’ll make sure your pup is safe and has the most fun!”

“Christine was AMAZING. Her home was clean, and organized! She sent me updates multiple times throughout the day so I can be will informed of my fur babies stay. She had excellent communication skills and I love that! My dogs looked so happy and well maintained with her. She even groomed my babies and put cute outfits on them. I am more than audited with her service and will recommend her to anyone!!!”

About: I've had little dogs for the past 19 years and they have always been taken cared of with love. I treat my doggies like my kids and I will make sure every dog that comes in my home will feel the same love. I am a stay at home mom so your dogs will be watched and taken care of the whole day. I go on walks in the morning so your dogs won't be stuck in the house all day. I have a fenced yard with a pool in the backyard. If you don't trust the pool I can walk your dogs outside with a leash. I have two dogs who are a little wild so they will stay in the cage if need be.
“Taiesha was amazing with our fur baby, True, while we were on our trip! Great communication, lots of picture updates, and True was clearly happy and well cared for; she warmed up immediately. We felt completely comfortable the entire time and would definitely book again. Highly recommend!”

“this family is super awesome. I felt relaxed and was able to ensure my vacation for five days while Polo spend time with boys, including buddy! I will be using you again. Polo has met friends.”

About: Hi! I’m Niyah. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. I’ve helped family, friends, and neighbors by feeding their pets, letting them out, playing with them, and making sure they felt comfortable while their owners were away. I’m patient, dependable, and know how important it is to treat every pet like family. I’m also building my small business, NAE Home Concierge, so providing great care and earning your trust means a lot to me. I’ll always keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I’m currently growing my home concierge business & going to school online, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable, attentive care for your pet(s) throughout the day. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, make sure they get plenty of attention and keep you updated during every visit. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, and I’ll follow your pet’s routine to help them feel right at home. I also have a cat, but she’ll stay in a separate room during your pet’s visit to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll treat your pet like family and send regular photo updates so you always know how they’re doing.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 17. Before i always had a dog growing up. When I moved in with my husband he had two dogs, a rabbit and a chinchilla. I used to help take care of them. I’ve always loved animals but I especially love dogs. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always available for caring for your pets! I would preferably not want to watch cats because my own dog doesn’t particularly get along with cats. I have a fenced in backyard. Depending on your dog’s schedule they are freely allowed to be inside or outside at any time. I leave food and water bowls outside for my dog as well as a water bowl inside.
“Mariah is a GREAT sitter. She is very patient and kind. Extremely professional and did a meet and greet prior to our boarding so we could assure our pups got along. Mio (Matiahs pup) is super gentle ? and Loving and Welcomed Shelby. She sent lots of pictures and was very communicative. I would HIGHLY Recommend her and will book with her again!?❤️”

“I am always a little uneasy leaving my dog, but Angel will definitely be my go to. She took amazing care of Boddie! She kept me updated with pictures and text. Boddie had the best time with her. Thank you Angel for taking suck good care of him!!!”

“Nikole took care of our dad’s dog Barbie for quite a while- she was absolutely WONDERFUL to Barbie. Lots of walks and love. I would definitely recommend her to EVERYONE!”

“Thanks Destiny for watching pickles, she stepped up last minute for me, when no one else responded, and she responded quickly. She took great care of pickles and kept me informed with pictures and texts! I will definitely use her again!”

About: I love both cats and dogs. I’m great at training and giving them all the attention they need. I currently have a 9 month old puppy and an 8 month old kitten who get along with each other really well. I currently stay at home with my 2 pets so I have more than enough time on my hands. I only leave the house if I have errands to run. I make sure they are fed at the correct time and let outside if needed. I play with them and cuddle with them if needed.
“Marche went above and beyond the scope of service. During his visit, Bruno experienced some redness and skin chaffing on his face, Marche did not hesitate to take him to his vets office. She was consistant with communications and updates, not only during the vet visit, but the entire time he was boarded. During his visit, Bruno was allowed to sleep on the bed with family members which was an extreme relief, as he does the same at home. He was not eating as much since he had some adjusting to do during his stay, but Marche made every effort to make sure he was getting fed. I would recommend her to everyone!”

About: I have cared for family and friends pets for many years, including both small and large dogs ranging from puppies to senior dogs as well. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy giving pets the attention they need. I have been helping care for pets since I was 12 years old, giving me about 10 years of experience. I am also happy to provide photo and video updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are in good hands. I have a flexible schedule and can work with a variety of pet care needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop in visit, playtime, feeding, or overnight care, I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I make it a priority to follow their normal schedule and provide them with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and daily routines. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, which is why I provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I strive to create a calm, loving, and stress free environment for every pet in my care.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Hood
We had an amazing experience with our dog sitter! She took such great care of our dog and kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that our pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We truly appreciated her kindness, communication, and attention to detail. We highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!

Dominique took very good care of my dog while I was away. Super accommodating as my dog was in heat and was kept separate from the others but not treated any differently. Nova came home happy and enjoyed her stay! I will definitely be using this sitter again in the future!

Stacy did a great job! He was able to take one of our dogs to the vet for an appt also which was awesome. Very communicative, and sent pictures often! My dogs came home happy and healthy 🩵 we will be using Stacy again if we ever need our dogs to have a safe place to stay!

My dog was well cared for, loved, and treated like family while I was away. I received regular updates, photos, and communication that gave me complete peace of mind. It was clear that my dog was happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I truly appreciate the care, reliability, and kindness shown throughout the entire stay. I would highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future

Bowie had so much fun! This was my first time being away from him overnight and Daniel was so good at updating me within minutes whenever I asked. Bowie got sent home with gifts and a huge smile. My baby was so happy, I will definitely be using them again :). Plus their pup was the sweetest baby and was so patient with my crazy boy.

I had a very very last minute overnight request, and thankfully, Zachary was very accommodating. After i sent a message through Rover, he responded almost immediately, and my husband was on his way to drop our dog off shortly after. He did not give a lot of updates during her stay, but I also had not specifically requested this. When I did check in, he responded promptly. Our dog was a happy girl when we picked her up, and went to get several more cuddles before jumping in our car. It was obvious to me she was comfortable during her stay. I would absolutely have Zachary watch her again in the future if he is available. Totally recommend. 5 stars

Darren and his wife were such an answer to our prayers. We boarded our dog with them over the Christmas holidays and we were so relieved knowing our dog was in their care. Our dog had not done well interacting with dogs in the past, but by the end of her stay, she was playing with their own dog like they were lifelong friends. They also sent us text updates, photos and videos while we were away to show us their progress and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about. We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of help taking care of their dogs.
The home was extremely clean and well organized. You honestly could not tell that Christine had fur babies of her own because the house was spotless and smelled great. Christine was very easy to talk to and friendly from the start, which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs in her care. Throughout their stay, my dogs were kept clean and very well cared for, including having their clothes and bedding washed every three days. Christine was also very attentive to their health. She noticed that one of my pups had a worm in his stool and immediately contacted me, explained the situation, and provided options. She even went to the store herself to get dewormer, which I truly appreciated. She even helped him grow his hair back and get his skin back healthy My pups were extremely happy and clearly enjoyed their stay. Blu was a little shy at first due to a traumatic experience with a previous sitter, but she quickly grew comfortable and absolutely loved Christine and her husband. I was very satisfied with the bathing and grooming services, and my dogs were provided with a comfortable, safe place to rest along with warm clothing during the colder weather. Christine truly went above and beyond to ensure my babies received plenty of attention, fun, and love. She kept me updated every day with messages, photos, and videos, all of which exceeded my expectations and showed how happy my dogs were. Christine is very knowledgeable and clearly experienced in providing excellent animal care. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
