“Angel was very sweet and understanding. I had gotten a bonus last minute and was able to fly home for Christmas but no one was willing to watch my kitty for me. She stepped up and made sure she was taken care of and even eased my worries of leaving my kitty alone for the first time. I definitely recommend her!”

“Jennifer was lifesaver! I haven’t been able to go anywhere because of the amount of animals I have and the expense and difficulty in boarding them. A friend recommended Rover.com and to my amazement Jennifer said no problem! She did an excellent job and cared for all my high needs animals. I highly recommend her she is a godsend!”

“Chelsey was amazing! It’s always a worry when we go away and leave our girls (and boy) in the care of somone else. But from the begging we knew she would be amazing with them. I highly recommend her to anyone that has to go away without their pets. We will be requesting her assistance again”

About: Hello, my name is Shelby! I am a LVMT (Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician) with experience in emergency, intensive care, and specialty medicine. From a very young age I knew that my life's purpose was to work with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have had pets all of my life and feel they are as much of a member of the family as their human companions. I am always excited to meet new furry (or scaley, feathery, shelled) friends! I would be honored to be entrusted to care for your animal companions and promise to provide the utmost care for them. My pet care availability is currently very flexible. This may occasionally change as my work schedule changes, however, I am happy to discuss options that work best for you. I typically care for pets in their homes, as it seems to cause a bit less stress on them. I am still learning the Killeen area, as we are new here, but would love to share walks with your pets in the neighborhood as we take in all the sights (and smells for them).

“Victoria did a great job checking in on our dog! Our pup can get anxious when she’s left alone, and Victoria’s visits reassured her and helped her to stay calm and feel loved (we can tell because she destroys things when she doesn’t feel calm!). I highly recommend Victoria as the perfect person to watch your pet!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
