“Emily did an amazing job watching Zoe! She went above and beyond to ensure the utmost care was provided. Excellent communication and availability as well. Highly recommend booking with her!”

About: For more than 40 years, my life has been centered around the constant companionship of dogs and cats. This lifelong devotion has cultivated an unbreakable bond and a deep-seated respect for all animals. I am committed to providing the highest level of care possible, treating every pet as if they were my own. My experience spans decades, teaching me not only the routines of pet care but also the nuances of animal behavior and comfort. With full access to Fort Hood, I am able to provide services for fur babies on base. I’m winding down with work and ready for a new adventure. I want to expand my care and love of animals so they are cared for in your absence I own my home with a fenced in hard. Living with me is my best friend of 5 years, my rescued girl who loves all other dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and humans. I am available to drop in, walk, or provide short term love and care for your fur baby

“Taylor was amazing! She dropped in on our 2 dogs and 2 cats for the weekend and sent so many amazing pictures and updates each time. She was super reliable and communicative, and it honestly made it so much easier to relax knowing the pets were in good hands. She was also so thoughtful about cleaning the dogs’ paws after the rain and staying for long enough to allow the dogs to get enough play and potty time. We will definitely be using her services again the next time we go on vacation! I highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter!”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs since I was a little girl. My first dog child I adopted was when I was 17 and he was a 120lb Weimaraner. We would run 3 miles a day and visit the dog park atleast twice a week. I have boarded, drop in visits, and walked dogs all through college for various friends and family. I understand the care and love your fur baby needs when mom and dad are away, and am able to help! I currently am not accepting in my own home at the moment as we recently adopted a rescue who had a rough start and will need time and care before socializing. However, I am happy to provide walking and drop in visits. I can provide updates and pictures of your fur baby as we walk or visit as I understand how stressful it is to be away from them and needing that reassurance.
“Robin is the best pet sitter/walker we have ever had. She is thoughtful and thorough and all our pets love her. She takes excellent pictures and we feel so much better when she checks in on our pets.”

“Suzanne was very friendly and did an excellent job caring for and loving on my cat when I was away. I will definitely keep her in mind for the future and recommend her to others.”

About: I treat every pet like my own: with lots of love, play, and attention. I send regular updates, follow routines closely, and make sure your pet feels safe and happy while you’re away. I currently work full-time at a restaurant, which allows me a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. Additionally, I am a full-time college student starting August 25th. I’m happy to discuss and adjust minor scheduling details as needed to ensure the best care for your pets. When I care for pets at their homes, I make sure they stick to their routine and feel right at home. That means plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and lots of love. I take dogs on walks to keep them active and happy, and for cats, I keep the litter box clean and fresh. I also handle feeding, watering, and tidying up, plus I send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet’s in good hands.
“Maya D. Is by far the best dog caretaker I have ever worked with. She truly loves helping animals and cares for mine so well. She handles medication and temperaments like a boss. When I had two male dogs that needed to be separated at all times and still be taken out and cared for she did not hesitate to help and not once was there contact or concerns. These are the best words that I have and they are still not enough! Thank you so much Maya.”

About: Personal experience is what I believe makes me perfect for you and your fur babies. I’ve always been surrounded by animals, and I enjoy caring for them. A little comforting fact, I was raised on a ranch and my mom is a retired veterinarian. I have experience in caring for ranch livestock, very opinionated birds, loads of cats and dogs (a whole bunch of foster fails, can you blame me?). As for age, I’ve done it all, from birth to old and wise. Medication, hand feeding, diapers (no judgment here!), and just plain attitude? Nothing new to me. I’d love to hear from you and meet your besties at home! I do currently work a full time job and I’m getting back into school so, caring for your pets are limited to just drop-ins and walks. Sunday and Wednesday are completely open, every other day I’m available up until 1:30 pm. Anything more or any questions, please contact me and we can possibly discuss further. When it comes to caring for your pets in your home, you know best. Give me a run down of what you need, and all I’ll do is add a little more love! As much as I would love to, I do have pets of my own and I live in an apartment so, I cannot take your pets into my home.
About: I have such a big heart for animals but unfortunately don’t own any. Now I dog sit for several members of my gym that I love their pet to pieces! I’m at home most of the day I workout everyday and volunteer at my sons school twice a week so I am gone up to 3-4 hours at most but my husband comes come during the middle of the day. I would treat your pet better than if they were at home. I can’t help it! I love to take dogs on walks, put extra little nutrients in there food bowls (if diet will allow) and give them all the hugs and belly rubs!
About: *I do NOT breed discriminate. I love all breeds of dogs (big or small)!!* I have been around dogs my whole life. In client’s home: Since I stay home full-time I’m able to come over every 2-3 hours for potty breaks and play time. I have a large fenced in yard perfect for play-time. I have a covered porch and a covered seating area, perfect for relaxing in the shade! We will continue to leave reviews every time Chelsey takes care of our kiddos. She’s amazing! This time we went out of state for a couple days and before it was a little difficult mentally just because our girls are a bit older now. But Chelsey has made traveling so much easier on us mentally. We know how calm and caring she is with them so our minds are at ease and our girls are happy! We can’t say this enough, but we highly recommend her to everyone! Thank you for everything and we’ll see you next time Chelsey!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
