“Could not speak more highly of her! Took excellent care of my pets and even took one to the emergency vet when she broke a tooth (known rock chewer). Would not trust anyone else”

“I needed a sitter for my two pups asap. Ayanna responded immediately and was able to help. This was a significant relief and the boys loved her. She knows how to handle dogs extremely well. Definitely will use her again.”

About: I have been around animals and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your fur baby. When I come to take care of, play with, or walk your fur baby I will dedicate my time to loving them. When staying with me I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I like to build trust, communicate and personalize your fur babies stay so you both feel at ease. I am currently home full time and I am available for drop ins when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I will take your fur baby on a walk to use the restroom since I don’t have a gated yard but if that’s a worry, I also have access to a few gated dog parks for your fur baby to run around and use the restroom.

“Jessica really ensured Rascal was spoiled and pampered. She takes lots of pictures and communicates well and quickly when we have questions. All of Rascals pampering needs were exceeded.”
“Maddison and Wesley are amazing. Our dog Lola is very anxious when she meets new people. Maddison and Wesley were so patient and accommodating to her needs. Lola had a great time and loved the them in no time at all. We will definitely take Lola back to them again. 😀”

“I booked with Shane on very short notice and he came through without hesitation. He was communicative from the start and sent updates throughout the stay, which gave me total peace of mind. I'd absolutely book with him again.”

“Isabella was fantastic with our big nervous Great Dane! We loved the pictures and updates as he braved being around her own fur babies. I would absolutely trust her with your own, and will definitely be rebooking!”

“My mini Aussie stayed with Jormary for 8 days, normally my dog is quite nervous in new surroundings, Jormary took such great care of her, gave extra attention so she would feel less anxious. I was getting daily updates and pictures. Jormary followed instructions to the t, I am very happy with the care Jormary provided for my pet. Would definitely recommend and I am certain I will book again!”

“Desiree is an amazing Pet Sitter! She was so good with our Reggie, and he really loved her. She sent so many photos, even though we were on a cruise, and could only see them when we would be in a port. I could tell he was so happy to have someone playing with him and caring for him. We didn’t have to worry about him at all! We would love to have her keep him again the next time. We highly recommend her!”

“Dorothy was wonderful with Kimora! She was very communicative throughout the night and sent frequent updates and photos, which really eased my anxious dog-mama heart. I felt completely comfortable knowing Kimora was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend Dorothy and would happily book with her again.”

“She was very loving with my little ferret and ensured she got enrichment and her medication. Discovered her passion for cat trees! Maddy Moo had a safe, separate room with a trunk full of toys to rummage through- her favorite ferret thing to do!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 17. Before i always had a dog growing up. When I moved in with my husband he had two dogs, a rabbit and a chinchilla. I used to help take care of them. I’ve always loved animals but I especially love dogs. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always available for caring for your pets! I would preferably not want to watch cats because my own dog doesn’t particularly get along with cats. I have a fenced in backyard. Depending on your dog’s schedule they are freely allowed to be inside or outside at any time. I leave food and water bowls outside for my dog as well as a water bowl inside.

“Excellent with my large Lab Bob where others aren’t comfortable with a big highly energetic lab , Trey had no problems and I picked up my dog tired and ready for bed. Thank you Trey so much for hanging out with Bob. (I do mean hanging out, Trey send pics of them watching tv and doing Christmas stuff together)”

“Cynthia and Roy are wonderful! We needed someone on short notice to board our 7 month old berniedoodle Duque for 11 days. I’m so happy we found Cynthia and Roy. They took great care of Duque, and even twice a day walks.! It looked like Duque was in summer camp and completely enjoying life with Cynthias 2 beautiful dogs. She sent daily updates and pictures. I was afraid Duque wouldnt want to leave. It turns out our travel plans changed and we needed to extend it 6 more days. Cynthia and Roy were super accomodating and understanding and didnt think twice on extending Duques' stay. I highly recommend Cynthia and Roy. They are incredibly professional, friendly and made the whole process feel safe and secure. We will definitely use Cynthia and Roy again!”
About: I’ve taken care of and been around many animals since I was young. From cats to horses, I’ve seen it all! I love animals:)! No matter how big or small they are always welcome in my cozy home. We have a big backyard fenced in & a spare bedroom for your pup to lounge around. Also allowed to cuddle on the couch🥰. Plus, my husband has many years of experience from working at a veterinarian clinic so I can promise your pup is in really good hands between us two! I’m a stay at home wife/mom so I can tend to your pets every needs 24/7. I’m always home unless I’m off to a doctors appointment or getting groceries. I have the same schedule everyday that any dog or cat is use too! My pets are very well taken care of. I have a cat named Binx and a dog named June. They are both very chill and relaxed. June is an old girl and she is spoiled. She has her own bed setup (pillows and all) and she gets fed twice a day and gets many treats, hugs, kisses, and rubs. Binx is very spoiled as well. She is relaxed around other dogs but mostly hides and sleeps for most of the day. She gets fed plenty and she is always trying to play with her dad. She is declawed so don’t worry about your pups or cats getting hurt by our babies! I will take great care of other animals like I do mine.
“Taiesha was amazing with our fur baby, True, while we were on our trip! Great communication, lots of picture updates, and True was clearly happy and well cared for; she warmed up immediately. We felt completely comfortable the entire time and would definitely book again. Highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Copperas Cove
As always, Jasmine offers the highest quality of care for my Yuli and was able to accommodate him last minute, as well as ensure he maintained his schedule for medication. She gives me so much peace of mind leaving my little guy behind, be it over night or for extended periods, I know he is cared and loved in my absence. Yuli is always excited to spend time with his fur friend Dallas and his human family. Thanks again Jasmine 🙏🏻🤗

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
