“Jessica was truly exceptional in caring for our furbabies. From the moment she stepped into our home, it was clear she approached her role with genuine compassion and an intuitive understanding of animals. She didn’t simply fulfill the responsibilities I requested… she consistently went above and beyond them, treating my pets with the same tenderness and attentiveness she would give her own! What impressed me most was her remarkable level of awareness and initiative. Jessica anticipated their needs before I even expressed them, whether that meant spending a little extra time to comfort them, engaging them in activities that matched their personalities, or sending thoughtful updates that gave me complete peace of mind. My furbabies responded to her with unmistakable trust and affection, which speaks volumes about her character and her natural ability to connect. It’s rare to find someone who is not only reliable and skilled, but also deeply invested in the well-being of the animals they care for. Jessica embodies all of these qualities effortlessly. I am profoundly grateful for the care she provided, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking someone who will treat their pets with true love and dedication.”

“Gabriela was wonderful with my pups and adjusted to our schedule with no problems! My pups loved her and we would love to have her come by another time. Please book with her whenever there’s availability!! ❤️ I truly can’t Thank you enough 🥺💜”

“Kayla was incredibly friendly and considerate when watching my cat for a few days. She went above and beyond what I even asked for her to do and I couldn't be happier with her service!”

“She was incredible. She was patient with my furbabies, who are not used to many new faces and tend to be a bit standoffish. I was initially concerned because I had never hired a pet sitter before, but each day she eased my worries with her attentive care, kindness, and excellent communication. I will definitely reach out to her again in the future if I need a pet sitter. When I came home, my furbabies were happy and healthy.”

“William was great at communicating with us and making sure all dogs needs were going to be met. We were extremely comfortable and confident with his abilities and he was more than flexible with our demanding schedule. Would recommend to anyone with their babies as I did with mine. Will continue to book for future services 😊”

“Pamela is wonderful and we will certainly call upon her again. She is dependable and our Yorkie enjoyed her visiting while we were away. Much appreciate of your time and willingness. Have a great remainder of the summer.”

About: I have such a big heart for animals but unfortunately don’t own any. Now I dog sit for several members of my gym that I love their pet to pieces! I’m at home most of the day I workout everyday and volunteer at my sons school twice a week so I am gone up to 3-4 hours at most but my husband comes come during the middle of the day. I would treat your pet better than if they were at home. I can’t help it! I love to take dogs on walks, put extra little nutrients in there food bowls (if diet will allow) and give them all the hugs and belly rubs!

“Taylor was amazing! She dropped in on our 2 dogs and 2 cats for the weekend and sent so many amazing pictures and updates each time. She was super reliable and communicative, and it honestly made it so much easier to relax knowing the pets were in good hands. She was also so thoughtful about cleaning the dogs’ paws after the rain and staying for long enough to allow the dogs to get enough play and potty time. We will definitely be using her services again the next time we go on vacation! I highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter!”

About: I have taken care of many pets my whole life. I have also have dogs of my own and currently have two. I am often entrusted with caring for family and friend pets. I pay attention to detail and ensure the babies are happy after my visit. I also have my EMT-B and know basic emergency pet care. I am currently on the hunt for a job so I have all the free time needed to care for fur babies morning and evening. I have two fur babies of my own with a fenced in yard and they get fed twice a day. We also have a lot of play time and often spend time in and outside of the house.
“Victoria did a great job checking in on our dog! Our pup can get anxious when she’s left alone, and Victoria’s visits reassured her and helped her to stay calm and feel loved (we can tell because she destroys things when she doesn’t feel calm!). I highly recommend Victoria as the perfect person to watch your pet!”

About: I have a 2 year ole English bulldog, discipline, , love caring I give to my fur baby is what’s needed as of taking care of your best friend. And I have taking car of all different breeds as well I work on base however as of right now a good time of leave is coming up I have more free time to be able to take care of the fur babies. I live in a apartment complex with a dog park right next to us, also walk around for potty breaks. Dog parks is where pets feel the time to have fun.
About: I love both cats and dogs. I’m great at training and giving them all the attention they need. I currently have a 9 month old puppy and an 8 month old kitten who get along with each other really well. I currently stay at home with my 2 pets so I have more than enough time on my hands. I only leave the house if I have errands to run. I make sure they are fed at the correct time and let outside if needed. I play with them and cuddle with them if needed.
“Cassandra did an excellent job. One of my dogs was a bit uncooperative, but she handled it with grace and patience. She also handled a big mess one (likely my same anxious one) made. She messaged me for clear instructions and handled everything. My critters (3 dogs, 4 cats) were all well cared for, and I appreciated that Cassandra had both patience and good sense when the unexpected happened.”

“Jamie was very accommodating, response and easy to work with. My fur babies were comfortable with her right away, even wanting to play with her. Even though my babies were happy to see us, I could tell right away they were well taken care of. Thank you Jamie!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Hood
Jessica was amazing with my 3 kitties. She was very responsive to all my questions. I am so grateful for her. Her daily reports were great to have and made me feel at ease. She took the time to give my babies their individual needs: Felicia with her play time, Cairo with his belly rubs and my old man Tucker with his favorite salmon 😂 I highly recommend Jessica!

Mikhalea absolutely went above and beyond to make sure my cat Doug well not just taken care of, but thriving. It can be nerve wracking having such a long trip away when you don’t have family or close friends nearby, but knowing that Doug was so well taken care of made it so much easier!!

Rachelle was amazing! I am a Rover sitter myself, and since this was my first time using the platform as a customer, was very hesitant. I reached out to Rachelle ahead of time for a multiple drop-ins each day for 6 days. We did a meet and greet to go over everything, and I really liked her from the beginning. My dog didn't even bark at her the first time. During the 6 days, she sent thorough reports letting me know how the visit went, along with plenty of photos to make a pet parent feel comfortable. I felt safe having her in my house, and everything was left exactly how we left it. I would absolutely, 100% use Rachelle again! I couldn't recommend her enough.

Ondrea was everything and more!! We were away for a week for our wedding, and needed someone to do drop-in visits for our cat Ember. Not only was Ondrea attentive and caring, but she embraced our baby with plenty of patience, play, and love. She kept us updated with daily photos and updates of Ember, and all the funny things she got up to. We could not have asked for a better sitter, Ondrea was perfect in every which way and I highly recommend her to anyone. 20/10 🫶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
