About: Working at an animal hospital as a vet tech has given me more of a love for cats and dogs. I grew up with dogs and cats around me as a child and through adulthood as well. After work, I’m open to staying at people’s homes to feed cats or doing dog walks to help out and on the weekends as well. About: I rescued a playful terrier mix in 2021 and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. If there’s one thing I’ve learned with my pup is that family runs in fur too. In terms of experience with pet sitting, I have had experience pet sitting for my friends: two dogs, 3 cats and reptiles. About: Hi, I'm Rebecca! I am currently a Master of Social Work student and a life-long animal lover. I grew up with my rescue poodle-mix Oliver and my grandma's shelties, Freddie and Maxie. Now, I have two cats of my own who are the loves of my life! Animal care has always come to me naturally and developed into a passion at a very young age. As a child, I did summer camps at the local shelter and I continue to take any opportunity I can to watch people's pets. In the future, I hope to continue doing volunteer work for animal rescue organizations and of course, own a bunch of animals myself. I am an online grad student so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule to help care for your pet. Thursdays and Fridays I have the most restrictions but I'm confident we will figure out a way to make it work! When caring for pets in my client’s home, I follow their established routines to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I take time to learn their feeding schedule, walking times, favorite activities, and any special needs before the stay begins. I also maintain a safe and clean environment, follow any house rules you provide, and keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to make my presence seamless so your pet feels secure and your home stays just as you left it.
