About: Hi! Iâm a lifelong dog lover who had the privilege of caring for my own dog for 14 amazing years. Through that experience, I learned how important patience, attention, and love are when it comes to caring for pets. I understand that dogs are family, and I will treat your pet with the same kindness and care I gave my own. Whether itâs walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I want your dog to feel safe and happy while youâre away. My sweet dog recently passed away after 14 years together, and caring for other dogs is a meaningful way for me to continue sharing that love. â˘Dog Care Skills⢠đŚ´đž Feeding and maintaining pet routines Dog walking and exercise Sending photo and video updates to owners Providing companionship and playtime Quick communication with pet parents â˘About Me⢠I am currently a college student and a huge dog lover. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I understand how important pets are and how much care they need. I enjoy walking, playing with dogs, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I always follow your petâs routine and send updates and photos so you know how theyâre doing. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to caring for pets throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks, spending time playing with dogs, and making sure they get the attention and exercise they need. I make pet care a priority in my daily routine and plan my schedule so that pets are never left without proper care and supervision. When pets are in my care, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow the ownerâs instructions closely for feeding schedules, walks, and any specific routines their pet is used to. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm environment so they can feel relaxed while their owners are away. I also send updates and photos to keep owners informed about how their pet is doing.
About: As a lifelong dog lover, I understand their needs for a fun, caring and safe environment. Iâm confident to be a reliable pet sitter for ur furry friend. I have my own best friend who loves belly rubs so I can say Iâm an expert on bully rubs and having a good time . Iâm currently a college student who has a good amount of free time for walks and care. My morning work best but afternoon are great as well. Whether I'm in my own home or theirs, I maintain a clean and safe environment. âOmolara took great care of my senior dog during the week I was away. She provided exercise, feeding, and clean-up of the space, when my dog couldnât quite hold it. I highly recommend her to anyone!â

âThis is the 3rd or 4th time having Angela do drop in visits with my 2 dogs. She is freakin great. My dogs love her. Finally got to meet her prior to this visit and she is very nice, responsive and reliable. Hire her!â

âThis was our first time using Rover and meeting Stefanie. Our kitties who are normally shy with other people took a liking to her really quickly. Stefanie was really thorough in making sure that she had all the information she would need while we were gone, and it was clear from her daily Rover Cards and communication that she really cared about taking great care of our kitties. We will definitely look for Stefanie the next time we need a pet sitter!â

About: Hi. I had dogs for the last 23 years. My children love dog sitting along with myself. The dogs have plenty of exercise and hugs. We never had a complaint when dog sitting for our friends and family. We have two teenage twins & enjoy staying home. We have a complete fence huge backyard. We are also able to board pets during the week but would be in backyard while we work. We are usually home by 5pm. In case you are comfortable with that schedule as well an needed boarding during the week. We only have one pet pug that is super friendly and does well with other dogs. She is 7 years old. We are at work from 8-5pm. We love staying home. We are able to board during the week if you are comfortable with your pet being in the backyard in a very secure area. The fence is made out of block with two iron security gates. I have a fence backyard that provides complete safety and plenty of room to play. We could also walk the dog but as always it depends on weather. We want to keep pets as safe.
âSavannah took great care of our dog Dexter during our trip. She had no issue bonding with him immediately. She was attentive and provided updates regularly. Highly recommended.â

About: I have been around dogs since before I could walk! I've always had dogs while growing up. I work at an animal clinic and have been in the vet field for 9 years. As of right now I am very open and flexible with my current schedule. I am available almost any day / time of the week. I make sure to know where all pet supplies/medication and emergency contact numbers are located. I make sure to familiarize myself with the pets feeding/walking schedule. I also make sure to know whether the pet has any aggression issues towards other animals so I know how to handle the pet if I need to walk them or what not.
âAnika was so good with Gunny. She was a very good communicator, sent regular check ins and photos and was just an overall god send. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing she was taking care of Gunny and giving him lots of love. Highly recommend đâ

About: Hi! my name is Malia and I am new to rover!! Working with animals have always been my passion ever since I was little, and now I have the privilege to obtain a degree in animal science spring â27! I have dog sat for friends and family for certain occasions, even have been a vet assistant at an animal clinic:) I have been working there for about 2 years now, I am trained to give vaccines, medicine, you name it! I am currently taking a break from vet med, and trying out Rover for the first time, so I can be flexible with your schedules with communication. Just because I am out of the clinic for now doesnât mean my love for animals is gone. That means I am more than qualified to make sure your furballs are happy and taken care of <3 I'm currently not working my vet assistant job right now so that means I have plenty of time during the morning or afternoon for walks and drop ins. We remodeled our backyard with fencing all around, we only have 2 cats at the moment but the house has plenty of space for them to play and hiding spots to sleep:) I am not boarding at this time but hopefully will be opening it up soon !

âYasmin was super awesome! She took excellent care of my senior kitty. It is hard to leave our baby, but she made us so comfortable. Will definitely be booking with her in the future!â

About: I have my own 2 dogs I take care of. Iâve also had dogs in the past I looked after. I also sometimes take care of my sisterâs pets. I love to take care of puppies. I have lots of patience and can train them to do simple tricks. I donât mind taking care of either big or small dogs as all are welcomed. I have online classes for college where I just do the homework. A majority of it is done by Monday leaving me with plenty of free time throughout the week. I work part-time as a cashier but currently only work one shift a week which is on Saturdays from 10-4 which leaves me with free time after work. I usually like to play with my dogs first and once theyâre tired I relax with them and give them pets as they start to sleep. They have their feeding time and they do have commands to be able to eat but once theyâre eating I let them be and make sure they donât play right after eating. On a really hot day Iâll grab the hose and spray them gently (which my dogs love) and theyâll start to play with the water which helps cool them down. Iâm really patient when it comes to bath time so if dogs get nervous during that I try to get them comfortable with what Iâm doing and reward them after each step.
âGrisel is wonderful. My very shy 18 year old cat warmed up to her and purred every time she visited. She took very good care of our cat and made our be vacation more relaxing knowing our cat was in good hands. Grisel will be our go to cat sitter from now on. Highly recommended!â

About: I'm a masters student in biology at Cal State Long Beach with professional pet care experience from working as an Animal Care Technician/Kennel Assistant at Franklin County Animal Hospital. Here, I primarily cared for boarded cats and dogs by giving medication by injection, orally, and other routes. Additionally, I fed animals as directed to ensure they actually eat, cleaned kennel spaces, and had playtime with dogs after their walks. I grew up with cats and have had the main responsibility of training dogs in my family for all of my life (the origin of my 20 years experience)! In regards to dogs, I've raised 5 huskies from birth all the way up to adulthood. Currently, I have 2 well-trained dogs that LOVE to meet new people and pets: Nirvana, a mini Texas Heeler and Remi, a Husky mix. If we're not at home, we're probably off on a walk, hiking, swimming, or doing a photoshoot somewhere in the woods! I love to meet people's pets! Whether your pet stays at my pet-friendly apartment with a large front yard, I'm at your place overnight, or I'm simply dropping in/taking your pet on a walk I can promise professionalism and that your pet will be treated as if they were my own! Open availability, just let me know when to show up! During the Fall and Spring semesters, this may depend on the day as I'm a masters student in Biology at Cal State Long Beach. At my home, I can ensure pets are in a safe environment by walking them in my large backyard and/or in a safe area of town. Additionally, I can ensure your pets safety by only allowing interactions with my pets while supervised. At your home, I can follow specific directions on where your pet(s) likes to go, how they prefer to be interacted with, and discuss the preferred length of time you'd prefer me to be in your home. Really, this portion is all up to you! I value mutual respect above all else and while I will conduct myself as such regardless, your preferences are really all that matters!

Anika, was just great with Marie. She had constant communication with me while i was away on vacation. She was also very punctual and very sweet with our kitty Marie. We were all so shocked when Marie let Anika pet her as she is a very shy and no new friends kind of gal. lol. Anika even offer to feed a little stray cat we usually feed. You are the best! Thank you âşď¸

Emily took such wonderful care of our pets! We were especially worried because one of our dogs is a senior, but she gave them so much love and attention that we were able to enjoy our family trip without any worries. She kept us updated, followed all of our instructions carefully. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets, and we couldnât be more grateful. We will definitely ask Emily to watch our pets again in the future. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter!

Lissi was great with Uno. She definitely went above and beyond with taking care of Uno. She was very communicative and responded very quickly when we set up the appointments. She took her time to let Uno feel comfortable and sent the best videos and pictures! We were also very happy that she was able to administer a daily pill. We would be happy to book Lissi again.

Angela was absolutely amazing! She truly went above and beyond during her drop-in visits with Lizzo and Kingston. She sent me so many adorable photos and thoughtful updates every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. There was an issue with one of the automatic feeders, and she let me know right away instead of keeping it to herself. Thankfully, it ended up going back to normal on its own, but I really appreciated how quickly she communicated with me and stayed on top of everything. It's clear she genuinely cared about my pets, and that meant so much to me. I never had to worry because I knew they were in great hands. Thank you so much, Angela, from the bottom of my heart. I truly appreciate everything you did, and I will definitely be booking with you again in the future!

Jennifer was kind, caring, and compassionate. She treated sunny with care and love. In addition, she gave us daily updates on how sunny was doing. I would highly recommend her to any pet owner. Sunny is usually afraid of strangers, but she immediately warmed up to Jennifer . Jennifer was asked to administer a complicated set of instructions for care of sunny, including handling medication and specific food. She did this very well and we are well pleased with her.

Karla was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond while caring for my cat. My cat absolutely loved her, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She was very responsive, paid close attention to detail, and kept me updated throughout my vacation, which really helped ease my worries. I truly appreciated the level of care and compassion she showed. Iâm looking forward to rebooking with her in the future!

I wanted to tip more but the app limited me? Brionna did a great job and she really helped out by picking up a few more days when I was stuck in Barbados airport with all flights canceled for 3days! Crazy East Coast weather! I recommend using her services as she is professional and thorough. Thank you Brionna!

This was my 2nd time booking Hailee & she went above and beyond! When she arrived at my house, one of the smoke detectors was going off and she made sure the house was safe before leaving my pets at home alone. She was calm and professional in dealing with me and that unexpected situation. She takes wonderful pictures and truly seems to care about my pets. I recommend her highly!
