About: I grew up with dogs since I was five years old. I currently have a maltipoo who is 2 years old which I love very much. I am always responsible and respectful. If you need a walker, Im always open and available 24/7. I can also offer drop in visits. I am currently a college student looking for a side job. I will be going to school 4 days a week but I always have room for your furry friends. I treat all pets will love and respect that they deserve. Dogs are easily attached to me. Before I walk dogs, I make sure they are fed and hydrated and even after a walk.

About: I’ve had 2 bunnies and currently a 4 year old shitzu. I’ve also taken care of my family’s dogs in Nicaragua. From a Great Dane, Husky, Coker Spaniel, and random mixes. About: Hi. I had dogs for the last 23 years. My children love dog sitting along with myself. The dogs have plenty of exercise and hugs. We never had a complaint when dog sitting for our friends and family. We have two teenage twins & enjoy staying home. We have a complete fence huge backyard. We are also able to board pets during the week but would be in backyard while we work. We are usually home by 5pm. In case you are comfortable with that schedule as well an needed boarding during the week. We only have one pet pug that is super friendly and does well with other dogs. She is 7 years old. We are at work from 8-5pm. We love staying home. We are able to board during the week if you are comfortable with your pet being in the backyard in a very secure area. The fence is made out of block with two iron security gates. I have a fence backyard that provides complete safety and plenty of room to play. We could also walk the dog but as always it depends on weather. We want to keep pets as safe.

About: I have been around dogs since before I could walk! I've always had dogs while growing up. I work at an animal clinic and have been in the vet field for 9 years. As of right now I am very open and flexible with my current schedule. I am available almost any day / time of the week. I make sure to know where all pet supplies/medication and emergency contact numbers are located. I make sure to familiarize myself with the pets feeding/walking schedule. I also make sure to know whether the pet has any aggression issues towards other animals so I know how to handle the pet if I need to walk them or what not.

About: Hi! my name is Malia and I am new to rover!! Working with animals have always been my passion ever since I was little, and now I have the privilege to obtain a degree in animal science spring ‘27! I have dog sat for friends and family for certain occasions, even have been a vet assistant at an animal clinic:) I have been working there for about 2 years now, I am trained to give vaccines, medicine, you name it! I am currently taking a break from vet med, and trying out Rover for the first time, so I can be flexible with your schedules with communication. Just because I am out of the clinic for now doesn’t mean my love for animals is gone. That means I am more than qualified to make sure your furballs are happy and taken care of <3 I'm currently not working my vet assistant job right now so that means I have plenty of time during the morning or afternoon for walks and drop ins. We remodeled our backyard with fencing all around, we only have 2 cats at the moment but the house has plenty of space for them to play and hiding spots to sleep:) I am not boarding at this time but hopefully will be opening it up soon !

About: I have my own 2 dogs I take care of. I’ve also had dogs in the past I looked after. I also sometimes take care of my sister’s pets. I love to take care of puppies. I have lots of patience and can train them to do simple tricks. I don’t mind taking care of either big or small dogs as all are welcomed. I have online classes for college where I just do the homework. A majority of it is done by Monday leaving me with plenty of free time throughout the week. I work part-time as a cashier but currently only work one shift a week which is on Saturdays from 10-4 which leaves me with free time after work. I usually like to play with my dogs first and once they’re tired I relax with them and give them pets as they start to sleep. They have their feeding time and they do have commands to be able to eat but once they’re eating I let them be and make sure they don’t play right after eating. On a really hot day I’ll grab the hose and spray them gently (which my dogs love) and they’ll start to play with the water which helps cool them down. I’m really patient when it comes to bath time so if dogs get nervous during that I try to get them comfortable with what I’m doing and reward them after each step.

About: I'm a masters student in biology at Cal State Long Beach with professional pet care experience from working as an Animal Care Technician/Kennel Assistant at Franklin County Animal Hospital. Here, I primarily cared for boarded cats and dogs by giving medication by injection, orally, and other routes. Additionally, I fed animals as directed to ensure they actually eat, cleaned kennel spaces, and had playtime with dogs after their walks. I grew up with cats and have had the main responsibility of training dogs in my family for all of my life (the origin of my 20 years experience)! In regards to dogs, I've raised 5 huskies from birth all the way up to adulthood. Currently, I have 2 well-trained dogs that LOVE to meet new people and pets: Nirvana, a mini Texas Heeler and Remi, a Husky mix. If we're not at home, we're probably off on a walk, hiking, swimming, or doing a photoshoot somewhere in the woods! I love to meet people's pets! Whether your pet stays at my pet-friendly apartment with a large front yard, I'm at your place overnight, or I'm simply dropping in/taking your pet on a walk I can promise professionalism and that your pet will be treated as if they were my own! Open availability, just let me know when to show up! During the Fall and Spring semesters, this may depend on the day as I'm a masters student in Biology at Cal State Long Beach. At my home, I can ensure pets are in a safe environment by walking them in my large backyard and/or in a safe area of town. Additionally, I can ensure your pets safety by only allowing interactions with my pets while supervised. At your home, I can follow specific directions on where your pet(s) likes to go, how they prefer to be interacted with, and discuss the preferred length of time you'd prefer me to be in your home. Really, this portion is all up to you! I value mutual respect above all else and while I will conduct myself as such regardless, your preferences are really all that matters!
