Emma was immediately comfortable with both Tyler and Patricia. They are dog people to the max! They are great communicators - they gave us great updates and photos daily. They will customize the amount of updates you'd like to receive and they were definitely on point for us. When I picked Emma up today, she was happy to see me, but she was like, 'ahhh, good to see you, but I wouldn't mind staying a while longer!" She was more comfortable staying with Tyler and Patricia than she's ever been staying with anyone else before. They made her feel a part of their family! About: I have my own 2 dogs I take care of. I’ve also had dogs in the past I looked after. I also sometimes take care of my sister’s pets. I love to take care of puppies. I have lots of patience and can train them to do simple tricks. I don’t mind taking care of either big or small dogs as all are welcomed. I have online classes for college where I just do the homework. A majority of it is done by Monday leaving me with plenty of free time throughout the week. I work part-time as a cashier but currently only work one shift a week which is on Saturdays from 10-4 which leaves me with free time after work. I usually like to play with my dogs first and once they’re tired I relax with them and give them pets as they start to sleep. They have their feeding time and they do have commands to be able to eat but once they’re eating I let them be and make sure they don’t play right after eating. On a really hot day I’ll grab the hose and spray them gently (which my dogs love) and they’ll start to play with the water which helps cool them down. I’m really patient when it comes to bath time so if dogs get nervous during that I try to get them comfortable with what I’m doing and reward them after each step.

About: I'm a masters student in biology at Cal State Long Beach with professional pet care experience from working as an Animal Care Technician/Kennel Assistant at Franklin County Animal Hospital. About: My dream since I was a young child was to own a huge piece of land and rescue every animal that needed a home. That's not reality for me, but that's my heart. About: From taking care of my first love Chocolate(she was a beautiful chocolate lab) at the age 7 , to sharing a Maltese named Snoopy with my best friend in high school, to watching my college roommates blue nose pit and greyhound; I’ve become the designated dog sitter for all my friends and family. While i love running and playing with young pups, I am never opposed to cuddling up with the more seasoned pups. I have clients who only need me to check in on their fur babies while they’re away which also is not a problem. Im currently working from home so i have 24 hours to give to your fur baby. I am flexible with extended stays as long as communicated. In my home i have a fenced side yard. There are also several dog parks nearby that i visit frequently when sitting. I have a large dog bed as i often sit larger dogs but your fur baby will regardless of size or gender will feel right at home.

About: I'm a masters student in biology at Cal State Long Beach with professional pet care experience from working as an Animal Care Technician/Kennel Assistant at Franklin County Animal Hospital. Here, I primarily cared for boarded cats and dogs by giving medication by injection, orally, and other routes. Additionally, I fed animals as directed to ensure they actually eat, cleaned kennel spaces, and had playtime with dogs after their walks. I grew up with cats and have had the main responsibility of training dogs in my family for all of my life (the origin of my 20 years experience)! In regards to dogs, I've raised 5 huskies from birth all the way up to adulthood. Currently, I have 2 well-trained dogs that LOVE to meet new people and pets: Nirvana, a mini Texas Heeler and Remi, a Husky mix. About: I’ve had pets since as long as I could remember. Right now, I have 3 babies that are my whole world. My dog, Chloe, is 17yrs and she’s been in my life since I was 6 years old. My rabbit, Eevee, was dumped and abandoned at a nearby field, and I found her while on a walk. She’s been with me for nearly 3yrs now. Then came my cat, Ponyo, and I’ve had her since she was a kitten, she will be 3yrs in July. I have always loved animals more than people, even more than myself, to be honest. I see every single pet, even ones that aren’t mine, as family, and equally deserving of love and respect. Update: My baby Chloe has recently passed and I am extremely heartbroken. She was my soulmate. I miss her everyday. Grief is love with nowhere to go. If given the opportunity to care for your pet I would not only be helping you but you would be helping me as well. My biggest and only responsibilities are my own little ones, so I am always at home caring for them. I struggle with my mental and physical health, so most regular jobs can be a bit too much pressure on me. I have 3 very different pets in my home that each have different needs. My dog being a senior means I have to pay extra attention to her and be diligent with her care. I am very knowledgeable and experienced in handling different types of animals of all ages.
