We just adopted our dog and he has little bursts of aggression and Jennifer was kind enough to come by before their first walk to test the waters. Everything turned out great and Jennifer sent updates and pictures throughout his walks. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Hannah “JoJo” is such a bright, loving energy. She is so willing to work with any dog. I feel peace that she’s able to take my little buddy out for a walk daily. She is also really patient as my pup was nervous at first and has now opened up to her. She will work with any type of dog and make sure each and every one of them feels loved. Thanks for all the updates throughout the walks and being so communicative. Keep up the great work!”

“Christine is detail-oriented and incredibly caring in her approach! She was communicative throughout, asked good questions as needed, and took extra care to ensure my dog Ellie trusted her and had a good time. An excellent helping hand!”

“Esteban quickly became my puppy's very best friend (I hope my kids don't see this). My puppy returns from walks and passes out for hours. Esteban is reliable and my puppy is always excited to go on their walks. He also communicates well and gives great updates on any activity from the walk.”

About: I’ve grown up and taken care a variety of animals from dogs (all sizes), cats, rabbits, chickens & even lizards. I’ve done dog walking in highschool and worked at pet food express in 2022 where I learned a lot about grooming, health, training & more! Currently free and available (unless stated I’m book) till the August 8 because I’ll be relocating for college in Southern California. If you see I’m book, still reach! I may be flexible and can work out my schedules. During my free time I’m usually at home with my cats & dog teaching them new tricks or giving them extra love, but I would love to help someone else take care of theirs and give their animals some care while their owners are away or working.

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

“Adam was great with our husky while we were out. He took her on long walks, was timely and was very flexible with little adjustments during his visits. We loved his daily updates/photos.”

About: I've grown up owning dogs my whole life, and I own my own dog as well. I honestly think it's impossible to be sad when a dog is in your life, and it is our responsibility to take care of them as best as we can. I would love to spend time and take care of your dog in the event you cannot. They should't have to feel so alone when we are busy! My puppy is very social, kind, and loves to play with other dogs. She is spayed so there is no worry there. I promise to take the best care of your dog, as if it was my own. I am also a strong believer in training dogs and keeping them on their own routine. I am very respectful of the rules or standards that each owner has for their dog, and plan on carrying those out exactly as you ask. I have a very flexible schedule currently and can accommodate many different times. Feel free to reach out and we can find a common time that works for you, your pet and me! Safety and trust are the most important aspect of caring for other animals. They are not just our pets but members of our family and I always keep that in mind. I will send photos and always be transparent about how your dog is doing.

About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with large and medium sized ranch dogs, and have taken care of small dogs growing up. I have experienced the full spectrum of canine care from puppies to end of life. Frequently I take care of dogs for family members as well and I love puppies! I have experience aiding in puppy training (not a certified professional but can help continue your home training), walking, feeding, bathing dogs and giving canine medication. I fully believe that dogs are meant to be outside and exercised as much as they are able for the best quality of life. From hikes, parks, walks around the block and cuddles, I’ll be there for your pup! I’m a graduate student therefore my availability for walks and drop ins, is strict to Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. But flexible during the hours of those days. Some evenings can be arranged on Thursdays and Fridays on a case by case basis. I can only offer daytime boarding in my home on Tuesdays as that is when I have online classes. Currently have some flexibility before classes start. I do really well with instructions if you have any specific needs for your pup! I am willing to clean up after puppy messes as well during puppy drop ins. For pups staying with me, I have a large fenced in backyard for your pet to lounge in. It is mostly made of brick and synthetic grass so your pup with stay clean with me! There is also a large dog park located a 10 minute walk away from me.

I have two cats of my own, so understand the importance of trusted pet care when traveling. have fostered cats and Right now I work as a mental health therapist which means that my schedule is flexible. About: Hello! I've been pet-sitting professionally since September 2023 and have done walks, drop-in visits, and house-sitting for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. This includes caring for senior dogs who need mobility assistance and have a hard time hearing and seeing. I also volunteered at my local animal shelter during college, where I had weekly shifts walking, playing with, and socializing dogs in the shelter. Additionally, I have experience caring for my own pet rats, and others' rodents and reptiles (rabbit, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons). With clear instructions from you, I would love to care for any rodents, reptiles, amphibians, or birds as well! You can list these animals as "Cats" within your Rover profile. I have a 30 hour/week job in libraries and I work pet-care into my off-days, or before/after a work shift. I recently adopted my own cat, so I will mostly be offering drop-in visits and dog walks, but will be available for 1-3 night housesits. Let me know you and your pet's schedule and needs, and we can see if we're a good match! I like to get to know you and your pet before caring for them in order to make sure we’re a good fit (so, I do require a Meet & Greet before booking). Whether they're an energetic dog who will want a high energy walk, or a shy cat who might take some time getting used to a stranger, I want your pets to feel safe, cared for, and happy. Please note: I have a severe peanut allergy so if feeding your dog peanut butter or peanut treats is a big part of their routine, I won't be able to provide those foods, but if they can go without while in my care, that's okay!

About: Hello, Invite me into your home for some fun, loving and gentile from this pet lover. I have a love like no other for dogs, cats and other pets alike. I have been dealing with animals all my life including even humans that portray some qualities just kidding about the human part. As for taking care of them I've had my share of pets growing up and I loved them then. So a couple of years ago I decided that I would try to make a little extra cash and after brain storming I decided to include one of my favorite things to do which is be around pets dogs being my favorite. After that the rest is history and now I've come to this site to expand my client list of happy owners. Im currently working part time to full time on certain days and would love the opportunity to still provide genital loving care to my furry friends. My mission is to provide the best love and care while keeping your furry ones safe from all hurt harm or danger while i my care.

“Dennis, Thank you so much for your flexibility, patience and support of taking care of our fur kids !!!!”

About: First time booking with Rover? Use this promo code for $20 off: QISHUZ24398 Hey there! My name's Qishu (🔑👟). I recently moved to Oakland from Colorado to career switch from engineering to chiropractic (for animals and humans)! I'd love to help all the cat and dog mamas/papas out here just as I had in Longmont, CO and, before that, Chicago, IL. I currently have 3 cats (Kina, Nemr, & Freyja), but I grew up with dogs since the age of 8- yorkies, labs, pitbulls, German shepherds, and mixed breeds. Additionally, I helped care for my college roommate’s pitbull/red heeler mix who often had anxiety and frequent health issues. Her name is Bridget, and she is the sweetest. I would be honored to care for yours! I'd love to give your pets the love, exercise, and attention they deserve while you're away! And I'm a huge advocate for providing pets with a great quality of life- more than just basic food and shelter :) I'm happy to do any small extraneous tasks like getting the mail, watering plants, etc. Just let me know in advance! For my cat parents out there: Because of my 3 "kids", I'm seasoned in all things cat: changing litter, oral admin of meds, treating fleas, bathing, nail trimming, de-shedding, training (sit, high-five, stand, turn-around, kiss). P.s. Ask me about cat boarding 🏠😸 I’m currently in school full time which means that I will be available for house-sits during the weekends and school holidays/breaks. This means a limited schedule, so if the stars align, let’s do it! My partner of 4 years, Ian, helps me with clients who are open and comfortable with his help. It works great because he is a dog at heart and also works from home, so someone will generally always be there with your fur babies. We have references upon request if needed. I am responsible for creating a safe space for the pet in their/my home. I make sure that they're comfortable and their boundaries are respected and understood with guidance from their owners and communication from their body language. All animals deserve patience, love, and empathy.

Grace L.

“Grace took care of our cat, Holly, and apartment while we were away for a week. She took excellent care of Holly and followed our instructions for feeding perfectly. Our cat has no teeth so she requires a little extra care around feeding. Holly really enjoyed Grace and we received many happy pictures of them cuddling. Grace also was house-sitting for us, and she did a great job at keeping our house clean and safe. Grace is very kind, communicative, and punctual. I highly recommend her for all your pet and house sitting needs!”

Helen was super friendly, communicative, and attentive. She took the time to get to know our dog and our preferences, and I felt so comfortable having her walk our pup. I would ask Helen to walk our dog again in a heartbeat!

Our pup Kobe immediately took a liking to Ariana! She was very warm and patient with him. Really appreciate finding a wonderful sitter in Ariana!

Natalie was very good with our lab! She is reliable and flexible. We felt very comfortable putting Natalie in charge of our pup!

Inertia was a lifesaver! She swooped in when our usual walker had to go out of town unexpectedly and made it so easy and stress free to make sure my dog was taken care of, including giving medications. She went above and beyond spoiling our guy and I will definitely reach out to her again in the future.

G’la was great! I especially appreciated her clear, communication, friendliness, and willingness to walk Nina last minute. I would request her again.

Hollie was very caring of Luna and spent a lot of time with her walking and getting to know her. Luna was quite happy by the end.

Gwen is wonderful with our big dog - she is comfortable taking her on both on and off leash adventures and our dog adores her 🩷
